The post-reformation, Indonesia politics is marked by an extraordinary leap. This study explain relation of power, interests and legitimation in political analysis especially base on political system and discourse analysis approach. Collecting data using library research and documents. This study found that there are important notes from the analysis on political system after the amendment of Constitution 1945. Firstly, there is split of power into new political institutions. Secondly, fragmentation is also followed by the dysfunctional of government institutions. Third-ly, there are inconsistencies in the constitutional structure and laws. Forth, the position of ad-hoc institutions becomes more important than permanent ones. Fifth, decentralization does not generate distribution of economic political power as part of the idea of pluralism and political recognition. Sixth, the multi-parties system never succeeds creating the power of political. Sev-enth, it is the weakening civil society power and organizational interest as well as the fading of uniting factors and elements.Keywords: Power, interests, legitiomation, political system.

The issue of regionalism became one of the important issues during 1992. The main issue is the economic improvement. Industry in South Korea is located in the Kyongsang are experiencing rapid economic improvement. Contrast with Cholla as an agricultural region. Social inequali-ties also become an important issue raised during the Presidential Election and elites use the local history to control society. This paper discusses the regionalism and the impact in presi-dential election in South Korea. The paper indicates the regionalism under the authoritarian military system and how the regionalism can create the political cleavage in the regional and appear to contribute in the election party. Creating the Regionalism issues influence the corre-lation between economic growth and political growth. In this point, economic growth influence by democratic transition without sentiment regional. Good levels of literacy in South Korea contribute to the formation of the social system with a better political culture.Keywords: Regionalism, election, regime.

Purba Sinomba vilage is home to some batak people in Kecamatan Padang Bolak Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara Sumatera Utara Province. In the past, this village has its own system of government. After a long period, the government system of the Purba Sinomba Village now fol-low the government regulation No 72/2005. This study discusses the government system of Pur-ba Sinomba village. This study aimed to clarify whether the government system of Purba Si-nomba village today, still nuanced government system that has been used previously within this area both in structure and practice. The study found that in the current system the old character has been replaced. First, the term king replaced the head of the village (kepala desa). Second, there is an election to choose a leader. Third, land is owned by residents. This phenomenon in-dicates that there is a gap between the cultural values of past and present. Its also can be inter-preted that customs and politics are two things that separated.Keywords: Village autonomy, village government, cultural values.

The Party system in Indonesia known Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) as the Partai Dakwah. This fact gives a difference with the other parties in Indonesia. This study discusses how the ac-tual philosophy and grand strategy of Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) as the Partai Dakwah. The study found that the basic philosophy of PKS is based on the principle for improv-ing people, or it can be regarded as a universal missionary movement (dakwah syamilah) as a process of self purification and as God's servant. Political strategy dakwah PKS through- cultural movement (horizontal mobility strategy/ta’biah al afaqiyah) and structural movement (vertical mobility strategy/ta’biah al amudiyah). All of that becomes an important feature of the PKS as a Partai Dakwah and stressed how The PKS true face as a Partai Dakwah. PKS aware-that political parties can not perform its function without broad community support.Keywords: Islamic party, political strategy, political philosophy.

The story of labor movement in Indonesia is an interesting event in the 1950's and early 1960's. At that time there were hundreds of labor organizations and dozens of labor union federation. This study aimed to discuss the history of the labor movement in Indonesia through 1945-1965. The study found that in the 1950's the conflict of the labor movement has always happened. This happens because the workers become members of political parties. But in the 1960's the con-flict has ended. This phenomenon is influenced by five things: (1).Workers are placed in the Company's Board; (2). Most of the workers directly under the control of the Army, espe-cially those belonging to the BKS-BUMIL; (3).The companies are controlled directly and under the supervision of military; (4).The weakening of political parties which was originally a shelter of labor unions; (5). Labor included in the Parliament (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Gotong Royong/DPR GR).Keywords: Labor movement, political conflict, political parties.

The concept of the welfare state is a concept that is still being debated. The debate is the events of the past and present. This study discusses the debate. This study found, in the debate, there are four meanings of the welfare state concept: First, the concept of the welfare state understood as the power of the state addressed to the national welfare; Second, the concept of the wel-fare state understood as undercover state collectivism by directing spending; Third, the concept of the welfare state understood as the beginning phase of the political absolutism; Fourth, the concept of the welfare state understood as a way to pay attention condition of the people who are not rich (poor). This debate can not be separated from the pull of the ideology social-ism and capitalism. The implication is that the welfare state can be called a middle way.Keywords: Welfare state, laissez faire, empirical libertarian.

Since the political reform, there is an agenda to give Affirmative action for women in politics. The method is providing 30% quota for women. Is there any impact to the increase number of women in parliament? This study describes the number of women in parliament (2004 &2009). This study uses the behavioral approach. The data was collected with the study of literature and documents. The study found that the number of women in parliament increased after the 2009 elections. This is wonderful information, but this increase is still less. In 2004 there are 550 DPR RI seats, and the number of women only 61 or 11.09%. However, In 2009, the number of women increased to 18%. In DPD (the 2004 election), there are 27 member or 21,09%. Then after 2009 election the number of women increased to 27% member. The finding indicates that voters are not allergic to women candidates. In addition, women as candidates has demonstrat-ed its power to get votes.Keywords: Affirmative action, general election, representation of women.

This study focused on Urang Banjar in the Kecamatan (district) Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Sumatera Utara Province. At this case the Banjar known as Islam. They view that the values of Islam must inheren into multiaspect of human life. Based on this, they political mainstream is integrality between Islam and politic. This study aimed to answer three questions. First, how the Banjar realize their religion believes in politics, as in the general election or the presidential election, and the regional leader? Is loyality to Islamic party as loyality to Islamic figure inside? What the factors influence they political behavior? The result seen that in Urang Banjar view politics and religion are integral. Moreover Urang Banjar tend loyal to Islamic parties, however, loyalty to the partai Islam is not always linear with their loyalty to Islamic figures within the Islamic parties, especially in the context of the Presidential Election and Pemilukada. Finally, this study found that political behavior of the Banjar is influenced by many factors like the religion believe, history, culture, social economic and the Islamic party Performance.Keywords: Political behavior, general election, political participation.

that time this party is the winner party. Nevertheless situation has changed after political reform in 1998. Since this era, Golkar Party must full tactical for win the competition. This Study is discussing change of Golkar Party vote at general election 2009. Precisely, present which piece of vote the Golkar Party which obtained at general election 2004 that change at 2009. This study is using observation way, interview and book study and document for collect-ing data. Data Analysis is using comparison method (the vote) combine with political behavior approach. The finding is the reduction of Golkar Party vote in Labuhanbatu influenced by his popular figure (got voter) that has decreased. It is affect to all of constituency at this place. Though this party is winner at Dapil Labuhanbatu 1 dan 5, but the degradation of Golkar Party vote is inescapable. This condition indicates the electors that select Golkar Party (2004) and then not (2009) in general election, is categorized as voter candidate orientation.Keywords: General election, political party, political participation.

In realizing political independence at local level, otonomi desa (autonomy countryside) has been realized in Indonesia. One of materialization evidence it is execution of head election countryside directly. This Study discusses about process of election Kepala Desa (head election countryside) that has took place in the countryside Air Joman, Kabupaten Asahan (Sub-province Asahan). Data is got by using observation method, interview, and document study. Technique of data analysis is descriptive method that is describing phenomenon base on data and information. This study finding indicates that basically the phase of election Kepala Desa Air Joman has run acording to the rule. Nevertheless, in election Kepala Desa Air Joman is ex-isted some problems. The first problem is at procces of elector identification. The second prob-lem is at procces of screening the candidate. The third problem is collision in campaign. This Phenomenon indicates that principle countryside political democracy development still requires repair from process facet and the technique.Keywords: Local election, political participation, democratization.
