Abstract

In today's modern era, many students are bored to learn in the classical way, especially in mathematics. Effective teaching must be able to create sufficient interest and motivation in students to excel, without creating stressful conditions, Slameto (2010). One type of learning strategy that provides opportunities for students to actively participate in learning and create a pleasant atmosphere in learning is learning by applying the learning strategy of the Reciprocal Teaching Learning Model. This learning model shows how direct learning can improve and influence student learning outcomes and is also a teaching procedure designed to teach students about cognitive strategies and help students understand the subject matter well. During the implementation of classroom action research which took place in 3 cycles in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tambusai, it can be concluded, During the CAR, the Reciprocal Teaching Learning Model has been managed well. significant learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the score of students who reached the KKM was 51.72%. In the second cycle students who achieved the KKM 55.17% were completed, while in the third cycle students reached the KKM 75.86%. Thus the reverse learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, it is acceptable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the principal's transformational leadership in improving teacher performance and the principal's efforts in improving teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar, through four components of the principal's ability, namely intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, inspirational motivation and idealistic influence. This study uses a descriptive approach and qualitative methods with observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of the study describe that the principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in carrying out his leadership has implemented a transformational leadership style: (1) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has given freedom to teachers to inspire and collaborate in conveying new ideas that are creative and innovative in transfer knowledge to students. (2) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has been able to become a good listener for teachers who are facing problems and need attention and problem solving. (3) The principal of SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar has set an example of good behavior and generates respect and is able to foster trust from teachers who later on the teacher will be imitated by the students. (4) Principal SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar in acting, he always prioritizes the interests of the organization rather than personal interests.

Abstract

The results showed that the Body Weight Indicator (88) researchers used as information material to assess the state of good nutrition, growth and health of children in the research that the researchers conducted after measuring the child's weight there were 2 female students with weight entered in the classification of over nutrition and 2 female students and 1 male student with underweight nutritional classification. Body Height Indicator (18) is also very important, the advantage of this TB indicator is that the measurements are objective and repeatable, the tools can be made by themselves, cheap and easy to carry, the results of the researchers' measurements are used as a comparison of relative changes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of teachers in designing innovative lesson plans, so as to create interesting learning. The purpose of this research is to increase the commitment of the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Pendalian IV Koto to compose Innovative RPP in Job Training activities with Feedback techniques and to increase the ability of the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Pendalian IV Koto to compose Innovative RPP in Job Training activities. with the Feedback technique. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research method is qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed an increase in the value of the commitment of teachers to make Innovative RPP from cycle I to cycle III of 0.93 (on a scale of 1-5) from 3.41 to 4.33. The number of teachers who achieved a score of more than 4.00 was 16 people (94%). The percentage increase was 68%, from 26% to 94%. So the performance indicators for increasing the commitment of teachers by 85% of the number of teachers have been achieved in cycle III with the achievement of 94%

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the process of increasing the activity and learning outcomes of students' biology on the motion system material in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency with Problem Based Learning. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Rambah. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument was in the form of student activity observation sheets, and learning outcomes test sheets. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics to see the increase in student activity and learning outcomes. The results showed that problem-based learning can increase student activities which include paying attention to the explanation of the material presented by the teacher, collaborative activities in groups, making presentations, asking questions and answering questions. The increase in student activity achieved very well at the point of paying attention to the explanation of the material presented by the teacher, cooperative activities in groups, and presentation activities. While the students' learning completeness in the first cycle was 70, in the second cycle, it rose to 80%. The conclusion of this study is that problem-based learning can increase students' activity and learning outcomes in biology on the motion system material in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Rambah.

Abstract

The low quality of human resources, especially educators/teachers, is one of the main problems in the world of education. As the fact that happened at SMPN 9 Satap Rambah Hilir, especially the use of media in learning activities based on the results of the supervision of the principal on 12 teachers found data that in the implementation of learning teachers did not use media. The teacher explains more about the material even though the material can be clarified with easily available media, both media available at school and around the school. Of the 12 teachers at SMPN 9 Satap Rambah Hilir only 3 people (25%) have used media in learning activities while 9 people (75%) still do not use media. With these problems, it must be immediately addressed by efforts to increase the ability of supervising teachers with inter-class visits. This research was carried out in two action cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle. In each cycle there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The instrument used is an observation sheet. Observation data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative percentage. The results showed an increase in the teacher's ability to use learning media where in cycle 1, meeting 1 was 60% in the sufficient category, increased at meeting 2 to 67% in the good category. In cycle 1I, meeting 1 increased to 75% in the good category and there was an increase at meeting 2 to 85% in the very good category. Implementation of supervision with inter-class visits technique in cycle I meeting 1 was 64% with good category increasing to 76% with good category at meeting 2, In cycle 2 meeting 1 increased again to 81% with very good category and at meeting 2 to 88% with very good category

Abstract

Activities and learning outcomes of Indonesian students in class XI IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Rambah have not been satisfactory. For this reason, efforts are needed to increase students' Indonesian learning activities and outcomes by applying the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) learning method. The purpose of this study was to explain the process of improving students' Indonesian learning outcomes in short stories material in class XI IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency with the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) learning method. The type of this research is classroom action research (PTK). on short story material. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Rambah. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument was in the form of student activity observation sheets, and learning outcomes test sheets. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics to see the improvement in student learning outcomes. The results showed that the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) learning method could improve student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the students' learning completeness in the first cycle, which is 75.00% in the second cycle, increasing to 81.25%. The conclusion of this study is that the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) learning method can improve students' Indonesian learning outcomes on short story material in class XI IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Rambah.

Abstract

Riset ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui terdapat tidaknya hubungan antar dua variabel, yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika pada mahasiswa STKIP Rokania tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Riset ini merupakan riset survey, yaitu riset yang hanya memerlukan survey untuk memperoleh datanya. Subjek dalam riset ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknoligi Informasi dan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar STKIP Rokania pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021, dimana semua mahasiswanya berjumlah 130 mahasiswa dan pada riset ini diambil seluruh populasi untuk dijadikan sampelnya. Pengumpulan data pada riset ini dengan dua cara, yaitu dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Metode analisa data yang digunakan pada riset ini adalah teknik korelasi serial, yaitu untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara dua variabel, dan deskriptif persentase untuk mengetahui keadaan motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa STKIP Rokania. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan maka didapat Nilai r hitung (Pearson Correlations): Diketahui nilai r hitung untuk hubungan Motivasi Belajar (X) dengan Hasil Belajar Matematika (Y) adalah sebesar 0.369 > 0,174 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan atau korelasi antara variabel Motivasi Belajar (X) dengan variabel Hasil Belajar matematika(Y). Ini berarti ha diterima dan ho ditolak.

Abstract

This research exposes woman profile derives in Minangkabau Kaba as one of traditional literature works of Mi­nangkabau. The aim to exposes woman profile derives from an idea that woman in Minangkabau have vital role because its social system is matrilineal and literature work is a reflection of its social life. Therefore, woman profile is also expressed in the Kaba. To respond the above paradigm, the researcher choose the Kaba with the following samples: (1) Cindua Mato Kaba of M. Yusuf's philologic work under title 'Translitera­tion Problem and Story Edition of Tuanku Nan Muda Pagaru­yung (Cindua Mato Kaba)', (2) Anggun Nan Tungga Kaba of Ambas Mahkota's work, (3) Malin Deman Kaba of Nurizzati's philologic work under title 'Malin Deman Raba: A Philo­logic Study'. This choice is based upon a consideration that the above three Kaba can be said as a representative to illustrate or to represent the .existing Minangkabau Kabas. The kabas which are taken as samples of this research are still sung orally and printed many times up to now in the form of publication. To achieve the aim of this research, some approaches of literature sociology and psychology are used. A Kaba as a literature work is regarded as a 'reflection' of society; and therefore what is expressed through the kaba can not be rid of social condition as its background. Based on the above theory, the result of this research shows that woman roles in family as a wife, mo­ther, child, older sister, younger sister, and grandmoth­er. In society, a woman roles as a leader of family and member of society such as household servant, birth sha­man, businesswoman or manager of flower garden, foster mother, clothes drier, or local pastoralist. Woman profile in the Kaba has a close connection with individual personally of society according to Minangkabau social system. Moreover, woman in the Kaba role in giving initiation or inaugura­tion to members of Minangkabau society.

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to find out and describe the ability of teachers in compiling summative tests through the academic supervision of artistic models. This study is classified as a school action research involving 10 subject teachers and class teachers, which is used as a sample preparation of summative tests, based on criteria for preparing standardized tests. The study was conducted with 3 (three) cycles. Tests that have been completed are analyzed and assessed based on 3 predetermined parameters, including: 1) aspects of the suitability of the test with learning objectives, 2) aspects of the behavior of the level of difficulty in taxom blom (c1-c6), and to. 3) good and correct use of indonesian on objective tests. Meanwhile, finding out the activities of teachers at work, researchers complete the measuring instrument with observation guidelines. Aspects observed in this activity which are consisted of 5 aspects of teacher activities, such as: a) aspects of the material, b) aspects of activeness, c) aspects of internal presentations, d) aspects of external percentage and e) aspects of the expert panel. Based on the criteria above, from cycle i and cycle iii the average score shows an increase, from an average score of 64.5 to a score of 87.24. It means that the teacher's efforts in preparing the deuteronomy test have been significant and they have put a lot of effort into making a decent test.
