Abstract

In its development of mosque architecture, various forms and styles of mosque buildings emerged throughout the Islamic world, including Indonesia. The shape is diverse, depending on various factors, including geographical conditions, local culture, mixing culture and technology. Thus the building of the Islamic world mosque shows its own image due to the different climate, building materials, technology, or expertise of artists. The Jami ’Shirathal Mustaqiem Mosque is one of the oldest religious buildings now incorporated by the East Kalimantan cultural heritage body as a religious tourism object in Samarinda.Based on the results of preliminary observations on the Shirathal Mustaqim mosque building, there are seen a number of cultural blends both from interior ornaments and facade elements.This mixing of cultures forms a harmony that contains aesthetic values. The research was limited only to interior ornaments and facade elements namely the shape of the mosque, and ornaments on the roof. The method used is a qualitative method with regard to conditions on the object, conformity to the theory and data available in the field. The results of this study are the influence of external forces on local culture, in this case the culture of the people of East Kalimantan, namely the culture of Kutai and foreign cultures such as Java, as well as foreign cultures such as the Netherlands.

Abstract

In building design, the selection of building materials is one aspect that needs to be considered. Building materials are components that require energy in the manufacturing process. In the process of building material production, the use of energy at each stage becomes one of the parameters of CO2 carbon emission levels. The higher the use of fossil energy, the higher the CO2 emissions and the risk of causing global warming. Bricks, concrete blocks, and lightweight bricks are the types of materials commonly used to make building walls. The selection of wall materials is still largely related to price or aesthetic considerations, but the assessment of the level of environmental friendliness is still lacking in attention. This study tries to analyse the life cycle of energy in wall materials (bricks, concrete blocks and lightweight bricks). From the research results obtained, concrete block is the lowest material in the use of production energy.

Abstract

Abstract: The Al Haddad mosque is the first Jamie mosque in Pamanukan Subang, Al Haddad mosque is a mosque that is often used by Muslims in Pamanukan carrying out worship, especially Friday payers, during the coronavirus pandemic 2019 (Covid19)it was still crowded with worshipers. The purpose of this study was to determine th effect of visitor behaviour on personal space at the Al Haddad Pamanukan mosque during the covid 19 pandemics. The research method uses a quantitative research method, with the theoretical basis used is the theory of visitor behaviour and the theory of personal space.Abstrak: Masjid Al Haddad adalah masjid Jamie pertama di pamanukan subang, Masjid al haddad adalah masjid yang sering dipakai oleh umat muslim di pamanukan dalam menjalankan ibadah khususnya ibadah sholat jum’at, pada masa pandemi Corona Virus 2019 (Covid 19) pun masih ramai dikunjungi para jamaahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan mengetahui dampak perilaku pengunjung terhadap personal space di masjid al haddad pamanukan pada masa pandemic covid 19. Dari masalah yang ada tersebut, maka hipotesis berdasarkan penelitian ini merupakan pengaruh positif personal space terhadap perilaku pengunjung Masjid Alhaddad pada saat masa pandemic Covid 19 .Metode penelitian yang dipakai merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan  landasan teori yang digunakan merupakan teori perilaku pengunjung dan teori personal space. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan dianalisis dengan statistic inferensial.

Abstract

Abstract: The space requirement in a residential house is one of the indicators in the comfort of living in a residential house, but currently there are still spaces in simple houses that have a small size due to the small size of the land. The house of the Rejang tribe and the house of the Minangkabau tribe in Sumatra have great potential in the development of modern housing. Split level is the concept of adding space above the floor of the building in a limited space that can be used in such a way. This study identifies the elements of space in the space of the geligei and anjuang to be part of the needs of a house that has limited space. qualitative descriptive method by conducting a survey of the phenomena that occur in the field by analyzing the factors presented and the data analysis method is done by filtering field data based on function and form, then synthesized with guidelines in building a healthy house. The results obtained by the Geligei and Anjuang rooms meet the requirements in terms of the minimum criteria that must be owned by a healthy space, both the dimensions of the space and the layout of the space and the two rooms have the same function as a territory area.Abstrak: Kebutuhan ruang pada rumah hunian menjadi salah satu indikator dalam kenyamanan tinggal di rumah tinggal, namun saat ini masih dijumpai ruang pada rumah tinggal sederhana yang memiliki ukuran yang kecil akibat ukuran lahan yang kecil. Rumah suku rejang dan rumah gadang suku Minangkabau yang ada di Sumatera memiliki potensi yang besar dalam pengembangan hunian modern. Split level merupakan konsep penambahan ruang diatas lantai bangunan pada luas ruang yang terbatas yang yang dapat difungsikan sedemikian rupa serta sebagai ruang social distancing. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi elemen ruang dalam pada ruang geligei dan anjuang menjadi bagian kebutuhan pada rumah tinggal yang memiliki keterbatasan ruang . metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan survey terhadap fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan dengan cara menganalisa faktor-faktor yang di saji dan metode analisa data dilakukan dengan menyaring data dilapangan berdasarkan fungsi dan bentuk, kemudian disintesa dengan panduan dalam membangun rumah sehat. Hasil yang didapat ruang geligei dan anjuang memenuhi syarat ditinjau dari kriteria minimal yang harus dimiliki ruang sehat, baik dimensi ruang maupun tata letak ruang serta kedua ruang memiliki kesamaan fungsi sebagai area teritori.

Abstract

Abstract: The Gallery in the design of the Center for the Performing Arts and Culture has a function as an art exhibition using natural or artificial lighting by having standard of light intensity based on the Indonesian National Standard 03-6575-2001  Light Strength in the Gallery is 500 Lux and Greenship Rating Tools from Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), the minimum standard for natural lighting areas is 30% of the total area. The purpose of this research was to determine the design of the gallery according to the standards based on the simulation results using these standards as a reference for assessment identification. Writing with quantitative methods using DIALux Evo 9.2 software for building simulation by adjusting the coordinates of the building location, 3D building, and the effective hours from the sun source in the morning (06.00 WIB & 08.00 WIB), afternoon (12.00 WIB & 14.00 WIB), and evening (16.00 WIB). The simulation results contains lux calculations, lighting contours, and lighting distribution. Based on the analysis, the gallery has complied the standard of natural lighting needs around 08.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB and the distribution of lighting is 42-76% based on factors in the form of size, shape, dimensions of light openings, and building orientation. The results are used as the basis for the layout of the exhibition and artificial lighting points.Keyword: Gallery, Natural Lighting, DIALux Evo 9.2  Abstrak: Ruang Galeri pada desain Gedung Pusat Pertunjukan Seni dan Budaya memiliki fungsi sebagai ruang pameran karya seni dengan memanfaatkan pencahayaan alami ataupun buatan dengan standar kuat intensitas cahaya berdasarkan Standar Nasional Indonesia 03-6575-2001 Kuat Cahaya dalam Ruang Galeri yaitu 500 Lux dan Greenship Rating Tools dari Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) yaitu standar minimal untuk area pencahayaan alami adalah 30% dari total area. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui desain ruang galeri sesuai standar berdasarkan hasil simulasi menggunakan standar tersebut sebagai acuan identifikasi penilaian. Penulisan dengan metode kuantitatif menggunakan perangkat lunak untuk simulasi bangunan yaitu DIALux Evo 9.2 dengan mengatur koordinat lokasi bangunan, 3D bangunan, dan jam efektif pencahayaan dari sumber matahari yaitu pagi hari (06.00 WIB & 08.00 WIB), siang hari (12.00 WIB & 14.00 WIB), dan sore hari (16.00 WIB). Data hasil simulasi berupa perhitungan lux, kontur penerangan, dan distribusi pencahayaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perangkat lunak, ruang galeri sudah memenuhi standar yaitu sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB hingga 16.00 WIB dan pesebaran pencahayaan 42-76% berdasarkan faktor ukuran, bentuk, dimensi bukaan cahaya pada ruangan, dan orientasi bangunan. Hasil analisis digunakan sebagai dasar tata letak pameran dan titik pencahayaan buatan.Kata Kunci: Ruang Galeri, Pencahayaan Alami, DIALux Evo 9.2

Abstract

Abstract: Adaptation to the pandemic has been going on from past eras. An increasingly modern society learns a lot from the previous case in dealing with the next pandemic. Technological advances and new discoveries in various fields make it easy for humans to deal with existing conditions, both individually and systematically. But does it ever come to our thoughts if we are in the worst condition when we cannot rely on technology anymore, when all systems are shut down, when we are in such catastrophe, is there anything we can do? This design tries to find a solution by utilizing the existing natural potential and our adaptation as a human, wisely. Cyclical Design Process used in the design process, starting with analysis; both programmatic and site analysis, synthesis which consist of conceptual, zoning and the design implementation, and evaluation using the ENVI-met software to evaluate and also to prove the design. The result is a house with multi mass, which has different orientation, connected by the courtyard to maximize the daylight and natural ventilation inside the house, and also separating the activity of the inhabitant, to minimize the spread of the virus among the inhabitants. Vegetation chosen in this design for supporting the passive design system, as a pathogen trap and ensuring food sufficiency for inhabitants.Abstrak: Adaptasi terhadap pandemik telah berlangsung selama berabad-abad. Masyarakat modern mempelajari kasus yang terjadi sebelumnya guna menghadapi kondisi pandemik berikutnya. Kemajuan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat untuk menghadapi kondisi yang ada, baik secara individu maupun sistemik. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana jika dalam kondisi terburuk, teknologi yang membantu dan memudahkan kita beradaptasi tidak dapat digunakan. Rancangan ini mencoba untuk mencari solusi dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam yang ada serta adaptasi kita sebagai manusia dengan bijak. Metode Cyclical Design Process digunakan dalam proses perancangan, diawali dengan analisis programatik dan analisis tapak, sintesis yang meliputi konsep, zonasi dan implementasi desain serta evaluasi terhadap rancangan dengan menggunakan software ENVI-met untuk pembuktian rancangan. Hasilnya sebuah rancangan rumah tinggal multi massa dengan orientasi massa yang berbeda, dihubungkan dengan taman di tengah massa bangunan guna memaksimalkan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami dalam ruang, sekaligus memecah aktivitas guna meminimalkan penyebaran virus diantara penghuni. Penggunaan vegetasi dalam perancangan selain untuk memaksimalkan sistem desain pasif, penyaring patogen serta memenuhi kebutuhan pangan mandiri bagi penghuni.

Abstract

Abstract:The current COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism and creative economy sectors as well as on the industrial and trade sectors for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has also affected the Plaza Pragolo MSME Center. The space at Plaza Pragolo has not had a good response to the pandemic situation. The current condition of the space is not yet organized and does not meet the standards. The current pandemic situation has resulted in changes in human activities and habits. Based on field observations carried out at Plaza Pragolo, it was found that there was a need for adjustments to room facilities, circulation, and distance arrangements, as well as space design for the pandemic situation in the interior space. The purpose of this study was to determine the adjustment of the design of the space contained in the interior space in the public space of the Plaza Pragolo Pati MSME Center due to changes in space user activities in the new normal era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative research method. Data was collected through interviews with plaza managers and direct observation of the location of the case study. The problems that occur and the data obtained will then be analyzed. The final result of the analysis can be concluded that in the interior space of Plaza Pragolo there has not been any room design adjustment that meets health protocol standards for changes in activity in the new normal era of the Covid-19 pandemic.Abstrak: Pandemi COVID-19 saat ini memberikan dampak  yang signifikan pada sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif serta berpengaruh terhadap sektor perindustrian dan perdagangan pada UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah). Dampak pandemi Covid-19 juga berimbas pada Pusat UMKM Plaza Pragolo. Ruang pada Plaza Pragolo belum memiliki respon yang baik terhadap situasi pandemi. Kondisi ruang saat ini belum terorganisir dan belum memenuhi standar. Situasi pandemi saat ini mengakibatkan adanya perubahan aktivitas dan kebiasaan manusia. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan yang dilakukan pada Plaza Pragolo ditemukan  perlunya penyesuaian pada fasilitas ruang, pengaturan sirkulasi dan jarak, serta desain ruang terhadap situasi pandemi pada ruang interiornya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penyesuaian desain ruang yang terdapat dalam ruang interior pada ruang publik Pusat UMKM Plaza Pragolo Pati dikarenakan adanya perubahan aktivitas pengguna ruang di era new normalpandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pengelola plaza dan observasi langsung ke lokasi studi kasus. Permasalahan yang terjadi dan data yang diperoleh kemudian akan dianalisis. Hasil akhir dari analisis tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pada ruang interior Plaza Pragolo belum ditemukan penyesuaian desain ruang yang memenuhi standar protokol kesehatan terhadap adanya perubahan aktivitas di era new normal pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Abstract: The traditional house of the Osing Tribe is one of the various vernacular architectures of East Java. Precisely located in Kemiren Village, Banyuwangi Regency at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level, which is included in the low topography of a humid tropical climate with a very high humidity average of about 85%, and an average temperature of 27 ° C, so that it can affect the comfort of the building. This house has three unique types of roofs. The three types of roofs include Tikel Balung, Cecorogan, and Baresan. The Osing traditional house developed from community traditions and took advantage of local potential, including existing technology, materials, and knowledge. However, it is not yet known which type of roof is more efficient in its responsiveness to outside air temperature. This study aims to determine the type of roof of the Osing building that can reduce temperature or respond to current air temperature conditions. This study uses the simulation method. The simulation method is used in this study to examine the thermal performance of several types of roofing envelopes using the Design Builder software version 7. The final results of this study indicate that the vernacular house with the Tikel Balung roof type is better able to reduce the temperature or respond to current air temperature conditions than the Tikel Balung roof type in other types of roof models.Abstrak: Rumah adat Suku Osing merupakan salah satu dari berbagai arsitektur vernacular Jawa Timur. Tepatnya terletak di Desa Kemiren Kabupaten Banyuwangi pada ketinggian 170 mdpl yang termasuk dalam topografi rendah beriklim tropis lembab dengan rerarta kelembaban sangat tinggi sekitar 85%, dan rerata suhu 27°C sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan bangunan. Rumah ini memiliki tiga tipe atap yang unik. Tiga tipe atap tersebut meliputi, Tikel Balung, Cecorogan, dan Baresan. Rumah adat Osing berkembang dari tradisi masyarakat dan memanfaatkan potensi setempat, meliputi teknologi, material, dan pengetahuan yang ada. Namun belum diketahui tipe atap mana yang lebih efisien dalam responsifitasnya terhadap suhu udara luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe atap bangunan Osing yang paling mampu menurunkan suhu atau merespon kondisi suhu udara saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simulasi. Metode simulasi digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk mengkaji kinerja termal pada beberapa tipe atap selubung bangunan dengan menggunakan software Design Builder versi 7. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rumah vernakular dengan tipe atap Tikel Balung lebih mampu menurunkan suhu atau merespon kondisi suhu udara saat ini dibandingkan tipe model atap lain.

Abstract

Abstract: Surabaya City has undergone rapid development characterized by changes in its physical form. A renowned Darmo heritage landscape has been experiencing such things. But none of the research had uncovered the morphological development of Darmo historic landscape. Even if, Darmo is a historic residential area and became the only masterwork in Surabaya by Henri Maclaine Pont, a renowned Dutch architect. Thus, the purpose of this study is to understand the Darmo Area further from the perspective of the area wholeness used in the urban morphological study by identifying the historical stages of morphological development. The strategy used is historical-interpretative which involves data collection methods of archival studies, literature studies, and in-depth interviews with experts. Meanwhile, the method of analysis used is historical diachronic analysis. The results of the study seemingly suggest that the Darmo Area has three major morphological stages, namely the pre and planning period, the development period, and extension. It shows the generative process of the area, and this can be the basis for historic urban landscape management. Hence, these morphological elements should be conserved altogether as urban morphology entities to ensure the unity of the Darmo historic landscape.Abstrak: Kota Surabaya telah mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, ditandai dengan perubahan bentuk fisiknya. Yang menjadi perhatian, kawasan cagar budaya Darmo mengalami hal tersebut. Namun belum ada penelitian yang mengungkap perkembangan morfologi kawasan bersejarah Darmo. Padahal, Darmo merupakan kawasan hunian bersejarah dan menjadi satu-satunya karya di Surabaya oleh Henri Maclaine Pont, seorang arsitek ternama Belanda. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memahami Kawasan Darmo lebih jauh dari perspektif keutuhan kawasan yang digunakan dalam studi morfologi perkotaan dengan mengidentifikasi tahapan sejarah perkembangan morfologi. Strategi yang digunakan adalah sejarah-interpretatif yang melibatkan metode pengumpulan data studi kearsipan, studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara mendalam dengan para ahli. Sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis sejarah diakronik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Kawasan Darmo memiliki tiga tahapan sejarah besar, yaitu periode praperencanaan dan perencanaan, periode pengembangan, dan perluasan. Terlihat proses generatif kawasan dan hal ini dapat menjadi dasar pengelolaan kawasan cagar budaya. Oleh karena itu, elemen-elemen morfologi harus dilestarikan bersama sebagai kesatuan morfologi perkotaan untuk menjamin kesatuan Kawasan Darmo.

Abstract

Seeing the very important role of traditional markets for the community, it is necessary to examine several things that can affect the smoothness or success in increasing people's income. Therefore, to improve and maintain the role of traditional markets, there needs to be involvement or coordination with agencies to support the welfare and success of traditional market traders. So, in this study, the location was taken by considering the welfare of the traditional market in Rowosari Village. There is a traditional market that has been around for a long time and is managed by the village government. Descriptive method is used in this research which explains the situation in Rowosari Traditional Market. From the results of the study, Rowosari Traditional market plays a role in increasing the income of the community who generally come from the Rowosari region and surrounding areas.
