Abstract

This study aimed to develop and determine the quality of the illustrative module of guided inquiry-based physics learning with character education. This research was a development research (R&D) which refers to the Borg & Gall model. The limited trial was carried out on 10 grade VII students and the expanded trial was carried out on 31 grade VIIA students at SMP Negeri 24 Surakarta. The data were taken using test techniques for cognitive learning outcomes, and observation techniques for character and psychomotor learning outcomes. Furthermore, it was analyzed by using two-sample paired t-test, while the psychomotor and affective learning outcomes were analyzed using the Friedman test. The results showed that the illustrative module of guided inquiry-based Physics learning containing character education was developed to have a total average score of 265.5 with the "very good" category. In conclusion, there was an increase in student learning outcomes after following the learning process using this developed illustrative module. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the achievement of students' average scores between the implementation of the problem based instruction (PBI) model and conventional learning on student activities, mastery of Newton's Law material, and students' critical thinking skills. This research method is a true experiment using a randomized control-group pre-test-post-test design, where the experimental class and the control class are given pre-test and post-test. The results of this study indicate, a) in the psychomotor aspect, the percentage of the good category for the experimental class is on average higher than the control class, while in the affective aspect there is no significant difference; b) there is a significant difference in the mastery of Newton's Law material between students taught through the implementation of the PBI model with an average change in value of 56.59 compared to conventional learning of 46.14; c) there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between students taught through the implementation of the PBI model with an average change in score of 55.85 compared to conventional learning of 45.62. The conclusion, that the implementation of PBI the average score of psychomotor activity, mastery of Newton's Law material, and students' critical thinking skills are significantly different compared to conventional learning. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the grounding resistance (grounding) in swampland. The method used in this research is to use the driven rod method. The investigation results through measurements with the 3 point method as well as with variations in depth and comparison of grounding resistance using a grounding rod made of coated copper with a resistance of 14.5 while the iron grounding rod is 16.70 or 15% larger than the copper grounding rod. In conclusion, In the investigation of the measurement of grounding resistance in swampland, copper-coated rod electrodes are more efficient than iron rods. Iron with rainy weather conditions. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes using audio-visual media in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 15 Lubuklinggau. This research method is classroom action research. This study's data collection techniques used tests, checklist (Ö) observation sheets, and documentation. Classroom action research is a cycle whose activities consist of 4 stages, 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) implementing observations, 4) data reflection. The subjects of class IV SD Negeri 15 Lubuklinggau totaled 23 students consisting of 14 boys and nine girls. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the use of audio-visual media in online learning can increase the activity and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. In the pre-action, students' completeness was 26.08%, with an average value of 65.43. Students' completeness increased to 52.17% in the first cycle, with an average value in the first cycle of 69.34. In the second cycle, students' mastery increased with a percentage value of 91.30% with an average value of 75.65. Thus the classical mastery value of students has reached learning mastery of 75%. Student learning activities also increased with an average percentage in the first cycle of 63.69% and 70.34% in the second cycle. In conclusion, audio-visual media can increase student activity in class IV SD Negeri 15 Lubuklinggau, with the average score of student learning activities increasing from the process I to cycle II. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of physics textbooks based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) to improve student physics learning outcomes on the Material of Temperature and Heat. The implementation design uses a pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this research trial were all students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 (Model) Lubuklinggau. The n-gain test was conducted to determine how much improvement in student learning outcomes was after implementing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based physics textbooks. Data were collected by using questionnaires and test techniques. The activity of students has increased by 72.86% in the good category. The daily test results given >75% of students scored more than 70 of the seven questions given. The value of table with degrees of freedom (DK) = n-1 = 34-1 = 33 and = 0.05 count = 36.87 and table = 2.04 because count table. In conclusion, the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model effectively improves students' physics learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and students' responses to the physics worksheets based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on temperature and heat materials in-state high school students 6 Lubuklinggau. The design of this study refers to the research design of the 4-D Four-D model development (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research subjects were class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau through purposive sampling technique. In this study, research data were obtained from validity questionnaires, and student response questionnaires and data analysis was carried out to see and observe the problems that existed at SMA Negeri 6 Lubukliggau in learning related to the use of physics worksheets based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on temperature and heat materials. Based on the study results, it was shown that the validity and response of the physics worksheets based on Contextual Teaching and Learning material on temperature and heat in students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. The questionnaire responses of 6 students obtained a score of 35.83 with a category strongly agree. The results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students got a score of 36.2 with a type strongly agree. In conclusion, the physics worksheets based on Contextual Teaching and Learning Materials on Temperature and Heat in Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau have been valid and practical. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the students' motivation to learn physics at high school in Kerinci Regency. Methods This research is a survey research with the type of Cross-Sectional Survey. This study indicates that the average motivation for learning physics for male students is 15.50, with a standard deviation of 3.44. In contrast, female students have an average of 16.7, with a standard deviation of 2.39. In conclusion, the average learning motivation of female students is higher than that of male students, and the learning motivation of male students is significantly different compared to the explanation of female students. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how the tsunami disaster zoning in the Regency and Coastal City of West Sumatra Province was determined. The survey results show that geographically the regencies and cities on the coast of West Sumatra are around the threat of a tsunami, in addition to economic activities, government activities, and high population density around the coastal area. Regencies and cities located on the coast of West Sumatra, including West Pasaman Regency, Agam Regency, Padang Pariaman Regency, Pariaman City, Padang City, Pesisir Selatan Regency, and the Mentawai Islands, are feared to be the following places to be hit by a tsunami, for this reason, efforts are needed - efforts to overcome the tsunami hazard. In conclusion, the tsunami risk zone in the province of West Sumatra, which is very dangerous, is in the Mentawai archipelago with a wave height of 20-35 m and a wave arrival time of 10-20 minutes with a warning level of alert. And the story of tsunami disaster risk in coastal districts and cities of West Sumatra province is divided into four zones, namely: Not dangerous, Less dangerous, namely West Pasaman district, the danger is Agam district, Pariaman city, Padang Pariaman district, Padang city, and Pesisir Selatan district, Very dangerous namely the Mentawai Islands. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe to students the physics phenomenon of the motion of charged particles in an electric and magnetic field and to simulate the trajectory of particles on a computer using an interactive spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is used to solve the analytical solution of the system of particle motion in the electromagnetic field. The results show that the graph plot of the numerical solution is immediately visible as a simulation of the trajectory of particles in an electromagnetic field. The simulation results show that the course of charged particles in an electromagnetic field depends on the strength of the electric field, magnetic field, particle mass, particle charge, initial velocity, and the angle between the electric field and magnetic field. Simulations developed using spreadsheets can be a powerful pedagogical tool in the study of physics. In conclusion, simulations using excel, as discussed above, appear to help students better understand the mathematical principles underlying physical phenomena and better appreciate the power of mathematics applied to the real world. The simulations generated in this study show that even without using macros, we can create sophisticated simulations. Keywords: Electromagnetic Field, Simulation, Spreadsheets

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to degrade Polypropylene plastic waste into fuel using a pyrolysis system. The method used to analyze the data from the pyrolysis process in this study is an experimental method, while the analysis used is quantitative data analysis, using existing calculations to analyze polypropylene plastic pyrolysis oil. Data collection techniques through three pyrolysis processes, namely 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours. The results of the study through 3 pyrolysis processes at different times obtained that PP plastic waste produced oil, namely 778 ml at 1 hour, 926 ml at 2 hours and 1145 ml at 3 hours. The density value of the pyrolysis oil was weighed after testing. The calorific value in this study ranged from 0.75 to 0.78 Kg/L with the lowest specific gravity in sample 1 and the highest in sample 3. Data on the efficiency of oil produced by waste PP plastic through 3 experiments in the pyrolysis process showed that PP plastic waste was quite good in its efficiency level in producing oil, namely 52%; 62%; 76%. In conclusion, the efficiency of PP plastic waste into fuel is also influenced by various factors such as the pyrolysis equipment used, reactor temperature, conversion time, and others. So that through this research it was found that polypropylene (PP) plastic waste can be converted into fuel using the pyrolysis method with two types of condenser pyrolysis equipment.
