Abstract

Music plays a crucial role in human life, not only as a form of entertainment but also as a tool for managing emotions and mental health. This study aims to analyze the relationship between music listening habits and individuals' psychological conditions, as well as to identify the key factors influencing the effects of music on mental health. The methods used in this research include K-Means Clustering to group music listeners based on their habits and mental states, and Random Forest to determine the dominant factors affecting their music experience. The findings reveal that music listeners can be categorized into four main clusters, with anxiety and insomnia emerging as the most dominant factors influencing music effects. The Silhouette Score of 0.24 indicates a moderately effective clustering performance, though there is room for improvement. The evaluation of the Random Forest model shows the highest accuracy at 86% in Cluster 3, while Cluster 0 records the lowest accuracy at 55%, suggesting variations in pattern recognition across clusters. This study concludes that music impacts each group of listeners differently, depending on their psychological characteristics. These findings can serve as the foundation for developing personalized music recommendation systems based on mental health conditions, as well as advancing music therapy for individuals with high levels of anxiety or sleep disorders.

Abstract

Machine learning (ML) is a field of science that focuses on designing and developing algorithmic models to create behavior based on available data. Academic achievement is a metric used for the assessment of quality educational institutions. By using academic data of students in SMP X and machine learning classification algorithms such as Random Forest, Naïve Bayes, k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM), so that this research can classify the academic achievement of students in SMP X optimally seen from the comparison of the best accuracy rate among classification algorithms. The accuracy of an algorithm is a measure of how precisely it classifies a sample. Evaluation results are compared in the form of validation accuracy and standard deviation. The comparison is done to determine the best algorithm based on accuracy and stability. The results showed that the SVM algorithm has the highest validation accuracy with a value of 0.987410 which shows the best performance in predicting classes and the lowest standard deviation value of 0.005132 which shows a more stable and consistent performance, compared to other algorithms. This indicates that SVM excels in predicting the correct class with stable performance. Based on the results and analysis, it is concluded that the selected SVM algorithm is used to develop a classification model of students' academic achievement in the form of a python program that is still simple but has high accuracy, stable and consistent. This program has become a tool for SMP X in identifying students' academic achievement and as a material for reporting students' learning outcomes to parents.

Abstract

Conventional reporting systems in the campus environment often produce reports that are not well documented, which causes the handling process to be slow and unclear. This is the problem underlying this research. The purpose of this research is to create and develop a campus reporting web application integrated with a chatbot to increase transparency, speed, and efficiency in the delivery and handling of reports. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall development model, including the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. This application development uses PHP programming language for the backend, MySQL as the database, and Tailwind CSS and JavaScript for the user interface. Chatbase is used to integrate a chatbot to answer automated questions about the reporting process. The results showed that the developed application was able to facilitate the reporting process systematically through the input form feature, user authentication, and a dashboard that monitors the status of the report, which facilitates the management of reports by the campus. In addition, the chatbot feature helps answer user questions quickly and precisely, increasing user interaction and satisfaction. The conclusion of the study shows that the use of a reporting web application with a chatbot can improve the flow of reports, accelerate handling responses, and increase transparency and documentation in report management in the campus environment.

Abstract

A digital book management system has become a crucial solution in the digital era, helping users efficiently organize and search their book collections. In the context of information technology advancements, the demand for an integrated platform that can store book data and provide easy access through metadata-based search features is increasing. However, the main challenge lies in the absence of a system that supports automatic information extraction from digital book files and searches based on criteria such as title, language, or topic. To address this issue, this study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method to design the system, a literature review to analyze NLP technology, and observations to understand user needs. The research results in an application built with PHP, MySQL, and Python (NLP), featuring file uploads, automatic metadata extraction, search based on specific criteria, and user profile management. The study concludes that the developed system provides a practical and efficient solution for digital book management, with a modular design that supports scalability and further development.

Abstract

In the digital era, the need for an internet connection has become a necessity for everyday life. All aspects of life are already influenced by internet connections. Therefore, fair and efficient bandwidth distribution is a necessity. This is the background for researchers to conduct a literature study related to the comparison between two bandwidth management methods, namely Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) and Per Connection Queue (PCQ). The selection of the two bandwidth distribution methods refers to their frequent use for bandwidth management by considering the number or level of users to provide equal access for all internet users. This study will analyze the comparison of the quality of the HTB and PCQ bandwidth management methods based on four parameters, namely throughput, jitter, packet loss and delay. With this method, it is expected to determine the most efficient bandwidth distribution. The research method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review. Systematic Literature Review is a systematic and comprehensive method for identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research results to obtain results that reflect the entire research. One of the standard methods used in the Systematic Literature Review is PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses). The results of the study indicate that the HTB bandwidth management method has advantages over the PCQ method in the parameters of throughput, jitter and delay. While in the packet loss parameter, the HTB method has the same ability as the PCQ method.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economy, yet they continue to face challenges in inventory management. One of the main challenges is the inaccuracy of stock recording due to the use of manual stock-taking methods, which are time-consuming, prone to errors, and result in inconsistent data. This condition affects business operations, such as overstocking or stockouts, leading to inefficient management and potential financial losses. This study aims to design and develop a Web-Based Stock Opname Information System to improve the accuracy and efficiency of inventory recording in MSMEs. The system development adopts the waterfall method, which consists of several stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Each stage plays a crucial role in ensuring the system aligns with user needs. The web-based system enables real-time stock monitoring, minimizes recording errors, and enhances operational efficiency. Through the implementation of this system, MSMEs are expected to optimize inventory management, reduce human error, and improve competitiveness in facing increasingly complex business challenges.

Abstract

PT Mandiri Andalan Utama still relies on external platforms such as Glints and Job Street in the recruitment process, so that applicant data management is less than optimal and selection is slow. To overcome this, this study developed a web-based recruitment information system with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method through the planning, design, and implementation stages, with UML tools for structure visualization and black-box testing to ensure optimal functionality. This system successfully accelerated the process through online registration, automatic data management, real-time monitoring of selection status, and database integration, which proved to be more efficient than conventional methods. In the future, the system can be enhanced with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) for automatic selection and smarter HR analysis, so that PT Mandiri Andalan Utama can optimize recruitment efficiency, support company growth, and develop more advanced HR technology strategies.

Abstract

Students frequently encounter challenges in managing academic schedules and completing assignments on time due to the demanding nature of coursework and involvement in non-academic activities. Poor time management can adversely affect students' academic performance. Consequently, this study aims to design and develop a web-based academic task reminder system to assist students in managing schedules more effectively. The application is developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with data storage based on local storage, enabling users to access and store assignment information without requiring a server connection. The development methodology employed in this research follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which encompasses the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Black Box testing was conducted to verify that all features—including task addition, deletion, sorting by deadline or alphabetically, and data storage—function as intended. Test results demonstrate that the system enhances task management efficiency and helps students organize schedules in a more structured manner. Furthermore, the system allows students to conveniently access task lists anytime and anywhere, eliminating the risk of data loss upon page refresh. Overall, this web-based task reminder system successfully fulfills user requirements in managing academic assignments more effectively, thereby fostering discipline and improving productivity in meeting academic deadlines.

Abstract

Facilities are an important component that determines whether a learning process is successful or otherwise. An effective learning process requires resources and media to support it. The current school facilities management data collection still uses conventional methods, so there are often errors in writing and inputting data into the book. The waterfall method, also known as a structured and sequential approach in software development, is used for this system because it allows users to participate in the planning process and produces a computerized system in a relatively short time. It is expected that this web-based information system will increase productivity, reduce data loss, and make recording school facilities easier.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology presents a big challenge in terms of network security, especially against cyber-attacks. This research simulates MAC Address Spoofing attack on HTTP network using Kali Linux operating system. The purpose of this research is to understand how the attack process is carried out and evaluate its impact on communication security in an unencrypted network. The attacker impersonated a gateway through ARP Spoofing technique and successfully infiltrated the communication path between the victim and the server. The captured data shows that sensitive information such as usernames and passwords can be easily retrieved when the victim accesses HTTP sites. The results show that spoofing has been successfully carried out, as evidenced by the acquisition of usernames and passwords when victims access HTTP sites.
