Abstract

Pasar merupakan tempat bertemu pedagang dan pembeli untuk melakukan transaksi jual beli kebutuhan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal, jam kerja, lama usaha, dan lokasi usaha terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur di Pasar Besar Batu dan Pasar Besar Malang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Metode Purposive Sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Modal (X1) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur karena t hitung 8.424 > t tabel 1.673 dan signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Jam Kerja (X2) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur karena t hitung 4.051 > t tabel 1.673 dan signifikan 0.000 < 0.05. Lama usaha (X3) tidak berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur karena t hitung 0.977 < t tabel 1.673. Lokasi usaha (X4) tidak berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur karena t hitung 1.598 < t tabel 1.673. Modal, jam kerja, lama usaha, dan lokasi usaha secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan pedagang sayur di Pasar Besar Batu dan Pasar Besar Malang karena f hitung 69.441 > f tabel 2.54 dan signifikan 0.000 < 0.05. Hasil analisis koefisien determinasi berganda diperoleh R2 = 0.835 yang berarti naik turun pendapatan pedagang sayur di Pasar Besar Batu dan Pasar Besar Malang (Y) 83.5% dipengaruhi oleh modal (X1), jam kerja (X2), lama usaha (X3), dan lokasi usaha (X4) sisanya sebesar 16.5% dipengaruhi variabel yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan komoditas tanaman pangan penghasil karbohidrat yang terpenting selain gandum dan padi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik petani dan atribut - atribut yang dipertimbangkan oleh petani dalam pemilihan benih jagung lokal elos. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis konjoin dan sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak  55 responden. Hasil analisis berdasarkan nilai utility kombinasi level atribut, petani lebih menyukai pemilihan benih jagung lokal elos dengan penggunaan pupuk (NPK dan Urea) <500kg/ha, dengan daya tumbuh benih cepat 4-6 hari, berkualitas benih unggul, ditanam pada jenis tanah yang kering dengan harga benih ≤Rp.10.000/kg dan stok benih mudah didapat. Hasil tingkat kepentingan atribut yang dipertimbangkan oleh petani pada saat pemilihan benih jagung lokal elos dari yang tertinggi ke yang terendah yaitu daya tumbuh benih sebesar 24.814, kualitas benih sebesar 23.808, penggunaan pupuk (NPK dan Urea) sebesar 18.401, stok benih sebesar 12.427, jenis tanah sebesar 11.042, dan harga benih sebesar 9.508.

Abstract

The economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the demand for palm oil in Indonesia and globally. This study analyzes the regulation and valuation of palm oil trade between Indonesia and Malaysia and Thailand. In addition, the study focuses on Indonesia's exports to her two major countries in Southeast Asia. Based on prescriptive legal analysis, relevant stakeholders have enacted several new regulations to ensure the stability and availability of palm cooking oil. The Indonesian central government has enacted several new regulations related to palm cooking oil to ensure availability and affordability in the domestic market as well as to support exports abroad. A Structural Time Series Model (STSM) estimates that the trade value of Indonesian palm oil exports to Malaysia and Thailand will stabilize in 2022. Indonesia's export policy needs to take into account cyclical, seasonal and irregular patterns. Stakeholders should check for irregular factors such as 2020, 2021, the economic crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Competent authorities must consider all aspects, especially international prices and palm oil exports, in order to implement best guidelines in a timely manner and to further review existing regulations. All palm oil stakeholders have adapted to the new regulations introduced by the government to ensure domestic supplies of palm cooking oil are available and affordable, and the remaining palm oil and its derivatives can be exported abroad.

Abstract

 Karangploso Subdistrict is known as having abundant taro commodity products in Malang Regency. However, the average utilization of the taro plant is not optimal, even though there is a large enough land available and has high potential for the development of the caladium plant commodity. Related to the above, the purpose of this research is to find out (a) the application of agribusiness system in the development of taro commodity, (b) the trend level of land area, production and productivity of taro in Karangploso District, Malang Regency. This research was carried out in Karangploso District as the object of the survey which is the development area for the taro plant commodity in Malang Regency. The respondents used were 30 taro farmers in Karangploso sub-district who were selected randomly. Data Analysis includes Qualitative Descriptive Analysis, and Trend Analysis. The results showed that, (a) The application of the concept of agribusiness in general has not run optimally while aspects of human resources in supporting the agribusiness development of taro commodity are quite adequate, (b) The level of trend (Trend) of the development of harvested area and production of taro commodity shows that this commodity has good prospects. that is good for development, but the trend of its development is still relatively small compared to the level of need for taro in the region.Keywords: Taro Plants, Alternative Foodstuffs, TrendsABSTRAKKecamatan Karangploso dikenal sebagai memiliki produk komoditi tanaman keladi yang melimpah di Kabupaten Malang. Namun demikian rata-rata pemanfaatan tanaman  keladi belum optimal, padahal tersedia lahan yang cukup luas dan berpotensi tinggi untuk pengembangan komoditi tanaman keladi tersebut. Terkait dengan hal diatas, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (a) penerapan sistem agribisnis dalam pengembangan komoditi keladi, (b) tingkat kecenderungan luas lahan, produksi dan produktivitasi keladi di Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di  Kecamatan Karangploso sebagai objek survey yang merupakan daerah pengembangan komoditi tanaman keladi di Kabupaten Malang. Responden yang digunakan sebanyak 30 petani keladi di  Kecamatam Karangploso yang dipilih secara acak. Analisis Data meliputi Analisis Deskriptif Kualitatif, dan Analisis Trend. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (a) Penerapan konsep agribisnis pada umumnya belum berjalan secara maksimal sementara aspek sumberdaya manusia dalam mendukung pengembangan agribisnis komoditi keladi cukup memadai, (b) Tingkat kecenderungan (Trend) perkembangan luas panen dan produksi komoditi keladi menunjukkan komoditi tersebut memiliki prospek yang baik untuk dikembangkan, akan tetapi trend perkembangannya masih relatif sedikit dibandingkan dengan tingkat kebutuhan keladi dalam daerah. Kata kunci: Tanaman Keladi, Bahan pangan  Alternatif, Kecenderungan.

Abstract

Cabai merupakan salah satu komoditas yang dibutuhkan masyarakat Indonesia. Produksi cabai di Kecamatan Rubaru mencapai 12.333 kuintal. Produksi cabai rawit mengalami penurunan karena penggunaan input produksi yang tidak proporsional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis efisiensi teknis, ekonomis, dan alokatif pada usahatani cabai rawit di Desa Karangnangka, Kecamatan Rubaru, Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Karangnangka dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 4 responden atau 8% petani cabai di Desa Karangnangka belum mencapai tingkat efisiensi teknis, sementara sebanyak 46 atau 92% sudah mencapai efisiensi secara teknis. Secara rata-rata petani cabai di Desa Karangnangka sudah mencapai tingkat efisiensi teknis dengan nilai 0,831. Petani cabai di Desa Karangnangka belum mencapai tingkat efisiensi secara alokatif dan ekonomis dengan nilai rata-rata secara berurutan adalah 0,440 dan 0,539.

Abstract

Economic integration aims to facilitate the flow of goods and services between integrated countries by reducing trade barriers, both tariff and non-tariff. At the ASEAN level, implementing economic integration is performed by establishing AFTA. For AFTA's performance to be effective, CEPT and ATIGA schemes are formed. Indonesia and Malaysia have a relationship in AFTA, which is applied one of them in the coffee commodity trade. Because Indonesia is in the position of producers and Malaysia is in the position of consumers. This study aims to analyze the degree of economic integration between Indonesia and Malaysia in coffee from 2001-2020. This study uses the Intra-Industry Index (IIT) approach using the Grubel-Lloyd Index (G-L index) model. Data in this research is secondary data from 2001-2020. The research variables are the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Malaysia and the volume of Indonesian coffee imports from Malaysia. The results show that Indonesia and Malaysia's average degree of economic integration from 2001-2020 is weak. From 2001-2020 the IIT index fluctuated, with the highest in 2017 at 8.6386 and the lowest in 2011 at 0.169184. From 2001-2020 the most types of coffee exported to Malaysia based on the HS Code were 09011110 (Arabica wib or robusta oib, not roasted, not decaffeinated), while the type of coffee most imported by Indonesia from Malaysia based on the HS Code was 090121200 (Coffee, roasted, not decaffeinated, ground).

Abstract

Ciamis Regency is a coffee-producing area in West Java. Most of the coffee beans in Ciamis Regency are distributed outside the regency and are not utilized by local Coffee SMEs which are already widely spread in Ciamis Regency. This is because the quality of the coffee produced has not been able to meet the expectations of the coffee market. In addition, there is no appropriate coffee development strategy according to the conditions faced in Ciamis Regency. This study aims to formulate the appropriate development strategy according to the conditions faced. This study used a sample of key informants consisting of 30 coffee farmers, the head of the agriculture department and the head of the plantation and horticulture sector, the owner of The History Coffee coffee shop and the owner of The Ki Oyo coffee processing company. SWOT analysis is used to formulate a coffee development strategy using valid and reliable internal and external factors, while the QSPM matrix is used to rank the strategic priorities. The results show that the prioritized sequence of strategies is in the form of strategies that optimize the upstream sector first (production sector) before optimizing the downstream sector (supporting and market sector).

Abstract

 This pinang iris is a young betel nut that is easily peeled and sliced in the shape of a coin and dried, which is then marketed outside the province, namely to Papua, NTT, Kupang and other eastern parts of Indonesia. Good for the economic development of the community because of it’s sales. The price is higher than other processed betel nuts. This study aims to determine (1) identify marketing channels and the functions performed by pinang iris marketing institutions, (2) analyze the efficiency of pinang iris marketing using the marketing margin value and the share received by farmers (farmer's share) in the marketing of pinang iris. pinang iris people by using the purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data used is descriptive quantitative analysis. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: (1) the marketing channels of pinang iris in Nagari Bukik Sikumpa has 3 marketing channel patterns, namely, channel I of 62,50% which starts from Producers à collector traders à wholesalers in the province à Wholesalers outside the province, channel II is 21,88% starting from Producers à wholesalers within the province à wholesalers outside province, channel III amounted to 15,63% starting from Producers à wholesalers outside the province. (2) the functions performed by each marketing agency for pinang iris, both for channel I, II, and III are relatively even and precise. The costs incurred for each activity are still within reasonable limits. The three marketing channels of pinang iris, judging from the margins and farmer’s share, are relatively efficient. The most efficient marketing channel II margin value, with a value of Rp34.571,71 and from the farmer’s share the most efficient is in marketing channel III of 100%.

Abstract

Fenomena sekarang menunjukkan ketenagakerjaan di sektor pertanian umumnya berpendidikan rendah dan usianya di atas 40 tahun. Tenaga kerja usia muda di pedesaan cenderung lebih tertarik bekerja di luar sektor pertanian. Permasalahan serupa terjadi di Kabupaten Purbalingga. BPS tahun 2020 mencatat tenaga kerja usia muda sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Purbalingga menempati posisi paling akhir di antara eks Karesidenan Banyumas yaitu sebesar 32.686 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis persepsi pemuda dalam usaha di sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian dilaksanakan di empat kecamatan, yaitu: Kecamatan Karangreja, Kecamatan Kutasari, Kecamatan Kaligondang, dan Kecamatan Kejobong, atas dasar pertimbangan dua kecamatan terletah jauh dari pusat kota dan dua kecamatan dekat dengan pusat kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode multistage random sampling dan diperoleh 100 responden pemuda berusia antara 19 hingga 39 tahun. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persepsi pemuda dalam usaha di sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Purbalingga adalah baik. Dimensi yang paling dominan membentuk persepsi pemuda dalam kegiatan usaha on-farm adalah faktor eksternal, dengan rata-rata skor paling tinggi pada indikator produk pertanian bernilai ekonomi tinggi sebesar 3,273. Dimensi yang paling dominan membentuk persepsi pemuda dalam kegiatan usaha off-farm adalah faktor eksternal, dengan rata-rata skor paling tinggi pada indikator kemudahan akses pasar sebesar 3,343.

Abstract

This study examines the evidence from the literature relevant to analysing the meat value chain and its relevance in reducing the prevalence of malnutrition in developing countries. A systematic literature review was performed to synthesise a qualitative evidence base, including information on the study country, time frame, methodology, research question, sample population, limitations, and recommendations for future research. The Cochrane methodology was employed to review 46 studies systematically. It was noted that studies are often conducted in multiple countries, mainly in Asia and Africa. The specific period over which the studies were conducted, or the period of data collection or observation, was often less than one year, highlighting significant changes in outcomes after the intervention, for example, increased Fe status. However, interventions are not known to reduce the prevalence of malnutrition directly. Research questions are asked using a variety of methods. Quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods. Quantitative approaches focused on identifying potential risk hotspots, while qualitative research focused on assessing the impact of change. Economic systems and vulnerable groups are often investigated as concerns of developing countries. This study broadens the conceptual framework and demonstrates its potential to contribute to nutritional literacy and the meat industry.Â
