Abstract

Background: BSE (Breast Self-Examination) is one of the early detection steps to prevent breast cancer is more effective if done as early as possible when adolescents reach the age of reproduction. Purpose : The purpose of this research is to know the influence of health education with peer education method toward student attitude in do realize in Senior High School 5 Kediri.Methods :The research design in this research is pre experimental design with one group pre test approach - post test design. The Sampel is some female students of class XI in Senior High School 5 Kediri as many as 104 respondents taken with Simple Random Sampling technique. Variable dependent attitude of student, independent variable of health education with peer education method. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of analysis using Mc Nemar with ? = 0,05.Result : The result of this research is that most respondents have positive attitude in doing BSE before giving health education as much 65 respondent (62,5%), while most of respondent have positive attitude in doing BSE after giving health education 96 responden (92,3%) . The result of Mc Nemar statistic test is obtained ? value = 0,000 <? = (0,05), which means there is Effect of Health Education with Peer Education Method toward Student Attitudes In Conduct BSE in Senior High School 5 Kediri City.Conclusion : Peer education method has relationship with respondent attitude about BSE because counseling with peer education method about is very important for respondent and expected by giving counseling about BSE will increase knowledge and also ability to do BSE for early detection breast cancer.

Abstract

Background: Preeclampsia is one of complications in pregnancy happened because increased blood pressure accompanied by proteinuria and edema. This is caused by several factors. Purpose: The purpose of this study to find out the relationship between stress levels and dietary pattern of pregnant women with the incidence of preeklamsia in Hospital Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Kediri City. Method: The design of this study is correlation with cross sectional. The population studied were all pregnant women who visited the Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Hospital Kediri City. With gestational age > 20 weeks with a sample of 85 respondents by purposive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis using test chi- square. Result: The results of the study show that pregnant women with moderate stress levels experience as much mild preeclampsia 15 respondent (17,6%) and pregnant women with poor diet who experince as much preeclampsia 13 respondent (15,3%). The result of data analysis show that the variabel stress level p-value (0,088) > ? (0.05) so there is no relationship between stress level and the incidence of preeclampsia whereas for dietary variables p-value (0.029) < ? (0.05) so that Ho rejected and H1 be accepted which means there is a relationship between eating habits and incidence of preeclampsia in the Ahmad Dahlan Hopsital, Kediri city. Conclusion: During pregnancy it is very important for pregnant women to manage stress well and regulate a healthy diet and routinely carry out Antenatal Care.

Abstract

Background: The results of interviews with the School Health Unit in 3 Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Blora City District showed that 75% -90% of santri had been exposed to scabies.Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of health promotion in reducing the incidence of scabies.Methods: Interventions in the form of health promotion (counseling, and community development). Independent health promotion variables, the dependent variable is the incidence of scabies, the variable between knowledge, attitude, and behavior. The research design is quasi-experimental one group (pretest-posttest). Place of research for Islamic boarding schools in Blora City District. The research population of the santri was a sample of students in grades 8 and 9. Proportional random sampling sampling technique. The intervention is carried out on August, 26, 2018 until October, 23, 2018.Result: Mean knowledge, attitude, and behavior before intervention 69.76; 69.86; 54.65. After intervention 87,18; 88.06; 63.35. P Value of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior = 0.00; meaning that there are differences in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors before and after the intervention. Before the intervention students were exposed to 128 scabies (75.29%) and after intervention 5 people (2.94%). There is a difference in the proportion of scabies before and after the intervention with P Value = 0.00.Conclusion: Health promotion is effective in reducing the incidence of scabies in Islamic boarding schools in Blora City

Abstract

Bacground: Complaints in critical patients are an unpleasant experience as long as patients are admitted to the ICU. Critical patients with pain are still common and need collaboration to reduce patients in the ICU.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the Pain Level Description of Critical Patients with Sleep Hygiene Care in the Intensive Care Unit.Method: Research design is descriptive-analytic. The study population was all critical patients in the ICU. The study sample was a portion of critical patients who received 170 sleep hygiene care patients. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research variable is a description of the patient's pain level. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were collected and analyzed using the frequency distribution method.Result: The results of the pain indicator on the Facial Expression study found that the majority of respondents showed grimacings (46.6%), Body movements study found that most showed restlessness (39.4%), Vocalization found that almost all respondents showed Tolerating ventilator or movement / Talking in normal tone / no sound (72.9%), Muscle tension assessment found that most respondents showed Relaxed as much (51.8%). The results of the study showed that the pain scale based on CPOT of the majority of respondents had mild pain as many as 64 respondents (37.6%).Conclusion: Pain description in critical patients with sleep hygiene care shows that there are still many patients who feel pain and need identification and further intervention to reduce it.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by high blood sugar level and is caused by an increase in glucose levels due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion caused by insulin resistance. The ability of diabetic patients to do appropriate and succesful self-care habits is closely related to morbidity and mortality and significantly affect productivity and quality of life. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determie the correlation between family support and self care agency with quality of life of diabetes mellitus patient type II.Method: This study uses analitycal methods, namely research that explores how and why health phenomena occur with a cross-sectional approach.Result: The results of the Spearman-Rho test that the P-value in te sig (2-tailed) column 0.123 is more than the level of significance ? 0,05 ( 0,000 < 0,05 ) so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected.Conclusion: There is no relationship between self care agency and the quality of life of people with type II diabetes mellitus in prolanic patients

Abstract

Background: Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is an indicator of health and quality of human resources. One of the causes of MMR is preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is an increase in blood pressure during pregnancy, which it cannot yet be determined. Purpose: Aims of this study are to analyze the characteristics of pregnant women with preeclampsia in seven hospitals in the agriculture area. Methods: Respondents obtained were 441 pregnant women with preeclampsia and analyzed by frequency distribution. Results: The results of the study show that the distribution of patient preeclampsia was most often found at RSU Dr. Abdoer Rahem that is a number of 125 patients (28.3%). The most characteristic mothers with preeclampsia on reproductive age (75.5%), primipara (54.6%), no have a history of the contagious disease (95.9%), no have a history of preeclampsia (83.2%). The most prevalent preeclampsia have a history of preeclampsia. Conclusion: Nurses conduct studies on pregnant women to prevent preeclampsia through a characteristic analysis of pregnant women with preeclampsia.

Abstract

Background: The behavior of clean and healthy life (PHBS) is an obligation to be carried out by everyone. PHBS is an effort to maintain the health of themselves and their families. The PHBS coaching program has been running for approximately 18 years, but its success is far from expected. It is necessary to explore the factors underlying the failure to implement PHBS. Mothers as educators in the family, have an obligation not only to implement PHBS for themselves, but also educate their children to conduct clean and healthy lifestyle.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the application of clean and healthy behavior (PHBS) from the study of knowledge and attitudes of housewives in the household setting.Method: This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach, involving 39 housewives in RT 03 RW 06 Tlogomas Malang. The sample is taken in total side. The independent variable is the knowledge and attitudes of housewives, while the dependent variable is clean and healthy living behavior. Instrument to explore knowledge, attitudes and behavior using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Spearman rank test.Result: The results showed that as many as 43.6% of housewives were well informed, 76.9% of housewives had good attitudes, and as many as 69.2% of mothers had good PHBS. Statistical tests show there is no relationship between knowledge with PHBS (p value 0.792), and there is a relationship between attitudes and PHBS of housewives (p-value 0.007).Conclusion: The application of clean and healthy lifestyle is not related to knowledge, but is related to the attitude of housewives in RT 03 RW 06 Tlogomas Malang.

Abstract

Background: Diabetic ulcer is one of the complications of Diabetes mellitus. Assessment of diabetic ulcers is done as a basis in determining wound care and therapy provided so that it needs to know its characteristics.Purpose: This study was to determine the characteristics of wounds assessment tools diabetic ulcer International Best Practice Guideline (IBPG).Method: The study design was descriptive with a case study approach, the sampling technique was purposive sampling carried out in May 2019 with three respondents. The instrument used is the wound assessment tool International Best Practice Guideline which contains: sensation, callus, wound base, temperature and location.Results: Respondents 1 experienced neuroiskemic injuries. Respondent 2 suffered neuropathic injuries and Respondent 3 had ischemic injury.Conclusion: Characteristics of ulcers based on the International Best Practice Guidelines respectively, neuroiskemic, neuropathic and ischemic ulcers. Health workers are expected to apply a more detailed assessment of diabetic ulcers so that they can determine the appropriate treatment.

Abstract

Background: Auditory hallucinations are the inability of humans to distinguish internal stimuli (thoughts) and external stimuli (outside world). Hallucination clients give perceptions or opinions about the environment without any real objects or stimuli. And it affects the patient's ability to meet their needs, including the ability to fulfill self-care. Ability is the ability, skill, strength of a person to work on their own. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to describe the ability of auditory hallucinatory patients in self-care fulfillment.Method: The design research is descriptive, population and research sample of 20 respondents, with total sampling technique, research instruments in the form of cheklish, this study was conducted on 13 May-13 June 2019 using a single variable is the describe ability of auditory hallucinatory patients in self-care fulfillment. Data is analyzed by percentage and interpreted quantitatively.Result: The results of the study were obtained from 20 respondents, most of the respondents 13 respondents (65%) were able to perform self-care well, a small portion of respondents 3 respondents (15%) had sufficient self-care ability, half of respondents 4 respondents (20%) had the ability lack of self care.Conclution: Self-care ability in patients Hearing hallucinations are influenced by age, sex, education, occupation, marital status, living with family, duration of suffering, history of hospitalization, taking medication and medication history. It is expected that auditory hallucinosis patients are willing and able to perform self-care properly and optimally to maintain personal hygiene and the environment

Abstract

Background: Birth is a natural process and is a physiological condition in a woman. there are 4 stage/times in labor which are 1st time, 2nd time, 3rd time and 4th time. The effort used to facilitate labor is to make contractions and relaxation effective. dates contain tannins which can shorten bleeding time and high glucose as a good source of energy during labor. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to see at the amount of bleeding in the group not given dates and given date ruthab. Method: this study using a quasi-experimental method in two different groups with 34 people treated with primigravida with 17 control groups and 17 intervention groups. given treatment for 4 weeks before the estimated delivery and check the blood volume with a measuring cup.Result: The results showed a significance value of the results of the t-test, namely: 0,000 for the 4th stage, the value was smaller than the significance level (?) of 0.05, meaning Ho was rejected, so it could be decided the hypothesis of the effect of giving wet dates to decreasing blood volume in stage 4th labor can be accepted.Conclusion: dates ruthab can be used as supporting therapy in the labor process and has very convincing benefits
