Abstract

The problem of pastors who also work as entrepreneurs is a complex issue involving religious, social, and economic aspects. To overcome this problem, a comprehensive approach involving various related parties is needed and supported by clear regulations and strict law enforcement. Theological Entrepreneurship introduces the view that ministers of God can also be entrepreneurs, pursuing activities that involve business strategies to achieve more incredible spiritual and social outcomes. This provides a new perspective on the understanding of God's servants as agents of change who are competitive and able to adapt to the dynamics of modern society. The outline of this study is based on literature sources using the literature study method. Paul's influence in the church's history is evident in his travels and letters, which reflect a spirit of spiritual entrepreneurship. Through his work as a tentmaker or entrepreneur, Paul had more freedom to preach the gospel to the Jewish people. This shows how vital the "bridge of evangelism" is for a gospel preacher. Thus, the link between entrepreneurship and church ministry goes beyond just the concept of Christian ministry; it also includes various other aspects relevant to the church's purpose and vocation.

Abstract

The transition from Mount Sinai to Mount Zion in biblical tradition highlights the progressive nature of God's plan of salvation, combining justice and grace. Mount Sinai represents establishing a covenantal community by giving the law, while Mount Zion portrays the eschatological reality of peaceful fellowship with God through divine grace. This journey teaches that true freedom involves adherence to justice and moral responsibility values, culminating in divine grace. This transition is relevant as a paradigm for building inclusive, just, and harmonious communities in the modern context. The church is called to integrate the principles of Sinai's justice and Zion's grace in its ministry, creating spaces for inter-community dialogue and promoting social justice. By merging the aspects of law and grace, the church can become an agent of social transformation, reflecting God's character in a world rife with injustice.

Abstract

Elizabeth Schüssler Fiorenza offers a new paradigm in feminist theology through the concepts of kyriarchy and ekkl?sia of wo/men, which serve as critiques of patriarchal domination within the church and society. This study addresses the relevance of Fiorenza's thoughts in deconstructing the patriarchal structures embedded in Indonesian churches, which often perpetuate gender-based discrimination and hinder women's full participation in religious and social life. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze Fiorenza's works and their relevance within Indonesia's social, cultural, and religious contexts. The findings reveal that Fiorenza's feminist hermeneutics can serve as a tool for ecclesiastical transformation by reinterpreting biblical texts in a more inclusive and relevant manner. The concept of ekkl?sia of wo/men provides a model for an egalitarian faith community, enabling churches to create inclusive spaces for women. Inclusive solidarity ethics offers concrete steps for Indonesian churches to act as agents of social change, responding to the challenges of gender injustice. This study underscores the importance of church reform rooted in the principles of justice and inclusion.

Abstract

The Book of Hosea portrays God's unconditional love amid Israel's unfaithfulness through the metaphor of Hosea's marriage to Gomer. This prophetic message illustrates God's transformative steadfast love (hesed), bringing His people spiritual, moral, and social restoration. In the socio-political context of 8th-century BCE Israel, idolatry, social injustice, and reliance on political alliances reflected severe spiritual decline. However, as revealed in Hosea's eschatological dimensions, God remained committed to restoring the covenant relationship through active and inclusive love. This love surpasses mere forgiveness, offering profound renewal. Hosea's message is highly relevant for today's church as a paradigm for restorative ministry amid modern challenges such as spiritual alienation and community disintegration. Through hesed, the church is called to become an agent of healing for social and spiritual wounds, offering hope and restoration. By adopting the model of God's love in Hosea, the church can reflect God's character in social services, spiritual care, and global mission, responding to the needs of a broken and sinful world.

Abstract

Religious polarization in Indonesia presents a significant challenge in maintaining social harmony amidst cultural and religious diversity. This polarization is often triggered by doctrinal exclusivism, the politicization of religion, and the lack of interfaith dialogue. This study explores the contribution of Pentecostal spirituality, particularly through the concept of hospitality, as a solution to mitigate polarization. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research analyzes literature on the theology of religions, Pentecostal spirituality, and social dynamics related to religious conflicts. The analysis reveals that Pentecostal spirituality, centered on the role of the Holy Spirit as the source of love and acceptance, offers an inclusive approach that fosters equitable interfaith dialogue. The proposed theological model based on Pentecostal hospitality includes interfaith education, community strengthening through acts of love, inclusive doctrinal reinterpretation, and the creation of safe spaces for dialogue. This model is not only theoretically relevant but also practically applicable in pluralistic Indonesian society. With proper implementation, it has the potential to enhance social cohesion and provide a strategic solution for fostering sustainable interfaith harmony.

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of intercessory prayer, as outlined in 2 Chronicles 7:14, as a transformative strategy for advancing Supiori Regency, recognized as the "Island of the Gospel." Intercessory prayer, which emphasizes humility, seeking God, and collective repentance, is pivotal in addressing the region's social, economic, and spiritual challenges. With a poverty rate nearing 40%, the integration of spiritual transformation through intercessory prayer with local cultural values—such as respect, unity, and mutual cooperation—serves as a foundation for fostering social harmony and community well-being. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this study utilizes theological hermeneutic analysis to assess the implementation of Gospel principles in societal governance and administration. The findings reveal that intercessory prayer functions as a catalyst for restoring spiritual connections with God while simultaneously strengthening social solidarity. Moreover, intercessory prayer provides a framework for local leaders to develop policies grounded in justice and communal welfare. The integration of prayer practices with cultural values presents a model for spiritual and social transformation applicable to other regions, aligning with Supiori's vision of becoming a harmonious, inclusive, and empowered society.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamic relationship between faith and scriptural dialogue within the multidimensional encounter spaces of educational institutions. The research explores how faith communities navigate the complexities of engaging with sacred texts while fostering meaningful dialogue across diverse theological, cultural, and pedagogical perspectives. Through qualitative analysis of educational practices, this study examines the methodological approaches used in creating inclusive spaces where the Word addresses contemporary educational challenges. The research reveals that effective faith-based dialogue requires sophisticated hermeneutical frameworks that honor both textual integrity and contextual relevance. Schools emerge as critical venues where traditional religious discourse meets modern educational paradigms, creating opportunities for transformative encounters. The findings demonstrate that the successful implementation of faith dialogue depends on establishing authentic relationships, maintaining theological depth while ensuring accessibility, and developing pedagogical strategies that respect diversity. This study contributes to understanding how educational institutions can serve as bridges between sacred traditions and contemporary learning environments, offering practical insights for educators seeking to integrate faith perspectives within pluralistic academic settings.
