Abstract

The background of this research aims to find out how intercultural communication accommodation of Malaysian student at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, so that there is harmonious relationship with the people around them especially in lecture activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe intercultural communication accommodation of Malaysian students at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, especially in convergence and divergence. The research method uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The results showed that students from Malaysia at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya carried out intercultural communication accommodation due to their self-awareness of cultural differences, openness in interaction and a high willingness to learn new cultures and practice them in everyday life. Even so, not all forms of communication in the new culture were adapted in everyday life because they were considered not appropriate to the culture in their hometown in Malaysia. The convergence form of intercultural communication accommodation is by learning Indonesian and Javanese to the closest people, and practicing it by trying to use an accent in accordance with the people around them. The divergence form of intercultural communication accommodation is by maintaining communication distance between types or not being too close physically like students in general. In addition, female students still wear the clothes they usually wear in their hometowns, namely ‘Baju Kurung’ combined with a wide veil. Meanwhile, students often wear Malaysian Malay clothing for religious activities. Keywords: Communication Accommodation, Intercultural Communication, Malaysian Student, Convergence, Divergence.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how the role of individual counselling services using homework assessment techniques to reduce the behaviour of students using gadgets at SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo in the academic year 2020/2021. This research was conducted at SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo for the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observations, documentation and home visits. In this study, the subject was one of the students of SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo for the academic year 2020/2021. The validity of the data used in this study was the triangulation of sources and data. Qualitative data analysis is inductive, which is based on an analysis of the data obtained, then a relationship pattern is developed with the following steps: data reduction, data presentation, results or conclusion. The results of this research is explain how the role of individual counselling services with homework assessment techniques to reduce the use of gadgets for students of SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo. From the results of individual counselling that was conducted for 4 (four) meetings, it was found that there was a change from the subject's self towards a better direction in excessive use of gadgets both at home, at school and in the community. It is hoped that participants can be responsible for themselves and the tasks given and realize that excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on their lives someday. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala apa saja yang ada pada implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru SMP Negeri di Provinsi DKI Jakarta khususnya SMP negeri di wilayah Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluasi kebijakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui data primer yaitu wawancara dan observasi, dan data sekunder melalui dokumen tertulis. Analisis data dengan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat beberapa kendala terhadap kebijakan sistem penerimaan peserta didik baru berdasarkan sistem zonasi di SMP Negeri yang ada di Jakarta sehingga sekolah perlu memberi evaluasi dan masukan akan permasalahan yang ada terkait dengan penerimaan peserta didik baru dan memberikan rekomendasi pemikiran-pemikiran baru untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan tersebut. Abstract

The concept of Collaborative Governance is used in various sectors of government both central and regional in order to maximize service and solving problems in the government sector. In the tourism sector, for example, the concept of collaborative governance is considered able to solve various problem. This is due to the dynamic nature of the tourism industry in line with the concept owened by the private sector which become a partner of the government in collaborative governance. In Maron Village, Wonosobo has implemented the concept of Community Tourism Collaborative Governance (CTCG) and has socio-economic impacts for the community, but the are still problems in this application such as the unequal role of each stakeholder. This study aims to find out and to analyze what are the causes of the unequal Community Tourism Collaborative Governance (CTCG) in Maron Village. The research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach that understands deeply about the object under study. The data obtained in this study are primary and secondary data obtained from in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with various stakeholders involved in CTCG. The results show that the causes of the unequal CTCG in Maron Village is that there was still a tug of interest both from government agencies and the community in one of the Menjer Lake tourism object. In addition, the competency of the human resources also caused the unequal implementation of collaborative governance. The findings in the research show that the involvement of stakeholders from the government, privat sector and the community has been fulfilled, but the inequality of competencies that still depends on several stakeholders. Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyse the impact of corporate governace on the corporate risk disclosure of Malaysian corporations. The research has used quantitative methods, namely, regression testing, in the form of descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The data obtained in this research are analyzed by using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). To answer the study objectives, the researcher analyzes the nonfinancial companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. The results of this study indicate that board size affects corporate risk disclosure, while board independence no affects corporate risk disclosure. It shows that the greater the board size, the better the level of supervision and pressure on management, thus encouraging management to be more transparent corporate risk disclosure. This study can contribute to the government as a reference in the preparation of corporate risk disclosure policies to increase investor confidence in company risk disclosure information produced by public companies. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dasar pertimbangan hakim dan akibat hukum tindak pidana terhadap penyalahgunaan narkotika bagi diri sendiri. Metode Penelitian ini dalamxpenulisanxskripsixinixmenggunakan jenis penelitianxnormatif,xyaituxdilakukanxdenganxcaraxmengkaji data sekunder, yang meliputixbahanxhukumxprimer,xbahanxhukumxsekunder, dan bahan hukum tersier. Sifat penelitian deskriptif, yaitu mendiskripkan mengenai dasar pertimbangan hakim dan akibat hukum pidana terhadap penyalahgunaan narkotika bagi diri sendiri. Berdasarkanxhasilxanalisisxfaktaxdanxdataxyangxdiperoleh, maka penulis mengambil kesimpulan antara lain : 1) Pertimbangan Hakim dalam perkara ini melihat unsur-unsur dari 3 (Tiga) dakwaan penuntut umum yaitu dakwaan Primer yaitu unsur-unsur Pasal 114 ayat (1). Dakwaan subsidair yaitu unsur-unsur Pasal 112 ayat (1) dan dakwaan lebih subsidair yaitu unsur-unsur Pasal 127 ayat (1) huruf a Undang Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. 2) Akibat hukum dari perbuatan terdakwa ialah rehabilitasi di Balai Rehabilitasi BNN selama 3 – 6 bulan. Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Pandemic Covid'19 is a new challenge for the world community, the condition of the physical and digital world undergoes a significant change in the way of human life, namely integrating the physical, digital and biological world, where there are fundamental changes and new breakthroughs in all disciplines, including artificiall intelligence, nanotechnology, biotechnology, internet-based technology impacting human life, impacting economic growth. (Hamdan, 2018). The 4.0 industrial revolution improved efficiency, flexibility and cross-border connectivity, as well as faster, cheaper, and more specific services. However, technology is also increasing access to digital disparities, competency gaps of social science graduates with industry needs. Employee recruitment will be reduced as automation, robotics use and flexible working systems increase. The limitations of mastering technology for the workforce in the village make it difficult for village youth to compete and get decent jobs. Both the private sector and the government should still prioritise the target of access to permanent employment for everyone because that is where human personal development (Vieronica Varbi Sununianti, 2019). Abstract

This research is based on several teachers qualification which are not in accordance with the rules of human being prepared to become a teacher.. This study focused in the influence of spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence on teachers’ performance partially and simultaneously. Well, this present study is conducted in order to analyze and explain about the effect of two intelligence variables partially and simultaneously on the teachers’ performance of Islamic-based school in Tembalang, Semarang. This research method used quantitative analysis. The number of sample were 87 people, so the data collection used total sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, and the data were tested using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence have positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance in Islamic-based elementary school in Tembalang, Semarang. However, the limitation of this present study are limited in time and minimalist funding. Keywords : spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and teachers’ performance
