The Biblio Couns Journal is a scientific journal in the field of Counseling and Education studies. The journal is published in three editions published a year, namely march, july, august. Biblio Couns is published by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, and in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Associations (ABKIN) with E-ISSN: 2620-3103. The purpose of the journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of counseling and education in all settings. The scope of the journal includes applications of school counseling, mental health, assessment, supervision in counseling, sexual harassment, violence supplementary counseling, multi-cultural counseling, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, ITC in counseling, career counseling, spiritual counseling, marriage and family counseling, counseling and psychotherapy, counseling in all backgrounds; Education (teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in education and learning, assessment). It was first published in 2018.

Abstract

This research is based on the assumption that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and coping on student behavior. This study uses a correlational quantitative type approach. The population in this study was 142 people, and samples were taken using Simple Random Sampling of 60 people. The data analysis technique uses product moment correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of self-efficacy and coping had a joint effect on student behavior.

Abstract

The learning system regularly undergoes changes that require instructors and learners to utilize electronic media and online networks to carry out the learning process, with the hope that learning can be more productive. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of learning that combine conventional methods and online methods, as well as see their effectiveness in laboratory-based courses. This study used 165 students as a sample and 15 students as participants for semi-structured interviews. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and interviews. The research findings show that students' perceptions of blended learning in the effective category and active blended learning contribute to students in learning. The findings of this study can be input in improving the quality of learning in higher education and improving graduate achievement

Abstract

Health as human rights is a very important thing to fight for, because health is the cause of the quality and future of a nation. To ensure the health of all levels of society in a nation, health insurance is needed in order to facilitate the poor and less able to obtain their rights as human beings. But social justice often does not take sides with the lower classes so that their rights are ignored by those who should be responsible. It is hoped that the government will pay more attention to the rights of its people equally so that it does not cause social inequality, because the fifth principle reads "social justice for all Indonesian people". So the purpose of writing this article is to find out the causes of injustice in the quality of services provided by RSUD to patients using BPJS in the perspective of multicultural counseling.

Abstract

The background of this research was the importance of a college students’ guidance and counseling program in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera to have a good social interaction. Emotional intelligence became factors that can predict affect social interaction. The purpose of this research was obviously to describe: (1) emotional intelligence, (2) the contribution of emotional intelligence towards social interactions, This research was using quantitative method with correlation type. The population was college students’ guidance and counseling program in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera in academic year  2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. A number of college students were 818 students. The sample was 272 students selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument was a Likert scale models. The research findings shown that: (1) an average of the emotional intelligence of college students at the high category, (2) there was a significant contribution of emotional intelligence toward social interaction.Implications of these results can be used as an analysis of the college students’ needs in the preparation of guidance and counseling program services at universities, especially in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1. Describe the activities of researchers in carrying out group counseling services with behavior contract techniques in reducing the dysfunctional academic procrastination of students of class XI MIPA 2 Senior High School 1 Jakenan, 2. Reducing the dysfunctional behavior of academic procrastination after getting counseling group behavior counseling services for students class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Jakenan. This research was designed using the guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) with the subject of 8 students of class XI MIPA 2 of SMAN 1 Jakenan who have dysfunctional problems of academic procrastination. This type of research is Guidance and Counseling Action Research. Subjects studied were students of class XI MIPA 2 of SMAN 1 Jakenan, as many as 8 students who had dysfunctional academic procrastination behavior Dysfunctional academic procrastination in students can be reduced after group counseling services are provided with a behavior contract technique. This is evident from the pre cycle results obtained an average of 21 with a very high category. While the first cycle obtained an average score of 35 with enough categories. In the second cycle the second cycle obtained a score of 49 with a very low category.

Abstract

Communication Information Technology (ICT) can be an effective tool for small and medium business communities to expand their business. Content Mastery Services are a support service to individuals to master certain abilities or competencies through learning activities. In this case the community is given mastery to have competence in marketing its home industry by using ICT. The Training of Trainner (TOT) method by means of providing materials through the content services in guidance and counseling, followed by a direct practice by the home industry actors. The results of this community service show that content Mastery Services is effective in delivering training content in ICT utilization for home industry players to advance their business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek Penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP UMSU. PTK dilaksanakan dalam   tiga siklus pembelajaran melalui pendekatan kualitatif-kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan data penelitian. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui pemberian tes, sedangkan data kualitatif didasarkan pada hasil observasi kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa dan dosen dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Data penelitian dianalisis melalui kajian-kajian reflektif pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I telah terjadi peningkatan kecerdasaan emosional mahasiswa. Siklus II, kecerdasan emosional proses belajar mengajar berjalan lebih baik. Kecerdasaan emosional mahasiswa dan dosen dalam pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dengan skor persentasi 72,97% dan 82.77%,dengan tingkat kelulusan 38,10% Penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap materi juga mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata 66,40%. Pelaksanaan siklus III ini bertolak dari permasalahan pada tahap tindakan II. Hasil rata-rata nilai kemampuan mahasiswa terhadap penguasaan materi yang diperoleh pada tindakan III adalah 86,14% dengan tingkat kelulusan 88,10% Nilai rata-rata kecerdasn emosionl mahasiwa dalam PBM adalah 80,35%. Sementara, kecerdasaan emosional dosen dalam pembelajaran juga mengalami perbaikan dengan baik, dengan persentasi 88,81%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Data tersebut di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Assertive Training berbantu Meningkatkan kecerdasaan emosional Mahasiswa secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa, khususnya pada Mata Kuliah Psikologi Pendidikan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring techniques in individual counseling to reduce the smoking behavior of students in SMA N 1 Batipuh. This research is a Pre Experiment One Group Pretest Posttest Design model. The population is students of class XI IPA and XI IPS as many as 20 people, while the study sample is students of class XI IPA as many as 5 people and are indicated to have smoking behavior based on non rondom sampling techniques and recommendations from BK teachers. Data collection instruments are in this study a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using non-parametric statistical tests using Wilcoxon rank test, hypothesis testing using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20. The results of research that have been known from the results of the Z (Wilcoxon) test values show the difference between the pretest and posttest scores. From the Wilcoxon test calculation results obtained a significance value of Sig p-value of-2.032. Based on the applicable provisions, it is known that the Wilcoxon Sig p-value test result is 0.042 <α (α = 0.05) which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. From the calculation results of the Wilcoxon test it can be concluded that individual counseling using cognitive restructuring techniques can reduce student smoking behavior.

Abstract

This research aim to know how is the psychoogical dynamic of the wife who sued for divorce from husband. This research is using the qualitative method specifically in phenomenological approach. There are 3 informants of this research, which are 3 marriage women with more than 3 years age of marriage. The data taken by interview and observation. The Result of this research the psychological dynamic shows : guilt to the child, trauma to marriage, anxiety or worry in choosing the right partner and disappointment of the concept of marriage that is not in accordance with reality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low achievement motivation of students. This study aims to describe the student achievement motivation. The research method used is descriptive quantitative.  population in this study is numbered 105 people. The sample consisted of 105 students, the sampling technique used saturated samples. The research findings show that students' achievement motivation is in the high category.
