Abstract

Liberal Islamic thought has begun to take root and grow firmly in Malaysia since the era of colonialism, especially British colonialism since the 18th century. The Liberal Islamic narrative occurs when Muslims have an ideology of liberalism. The distribution of studies includes various disciplines: the development of liberalism, its effects in Malaysia, and preaching strategies to curb its contagion. This study focuses on the history of the development of liberalism in general and Liberal Islam in principle as well as its implications and solutions. This study is a qualitative study and through content analysis from related books and articles. From the results of this study, the researcher found that Liberal Islam has spread into the ideology of the Malaysian Muslim community because of a lack of understanding of Islam as a whole and a desire for progress and progressiveness. This also stems from the community's desire to see Islam as simple and accommodating to all community issues. They think Islam is a rational religion, not one that refers to the authentic texts, the Quran and the Sunnah.

Abstract

This research  describes the results of the evaluation of the child-friendly Pesantren program in West Sumatra Province. The model used by CIPP is the Mixed Method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation sheets, interviews, concept mastery tests and guidelines for child-friendly Islamic boarding schools. Data analysis and program evaluation procedures are described in this article. The results of the context evaluation show that violence, discrimination and harassment still occur in the average Islamic boarding school in the province of West Sumatra. The results of the input evaluation show that the guidelines for the child-friendly pesantren program issued by the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia have not been optimally socialized and the pesantren leaders, asatidz councils, students and the community are aware of the existence of a child-friendly pesantren program but do not yet understand the concepts, guidelines and technical instructions for child-friendly pesantren. The results of the process evaluation, namely monitoring designed to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of the child-friendly Islamic boarding school program have not been optimal. Not all Islamic boarding schools have a child-friendly boarding school development team. For pesantren that already have a child-friendly pesantren team, the team members do not yet have the relevant competencies. Evaluation of products or outputs and results designed to assess program results and program sustainability shows that the child-friendly Islamic boarding schools program launched and developed by the government and Islamic boarding schools have not run as expected.

Abstract

This study intends to explore and examine the Islamic economic system in terms of its theoretical and philosophical foundations as well as its motivations and objectives. Like other disciplines, the Islamic economic system also has a philosophical foundation. The theoretical foundation of the sharia economic system certainly refers to the Al-Quran and hadith. At least QS an-Nisa verse 59 and the hadith of Mu'az bin Jabal can be used as a reference to determine the source of law that can be used as a legal basis for the basis of the existence of Islamic economics. Meanwhile, Islamic economic philosophy is based on three basic concepts, namely the philosophy of God, man (cosmic), and nature (cosmos). The key to Islamic economic philosophy lies in humans and God, humans and nature, as well as humans and other humans. The economic motivation in Islam is to make a living which is part of worship, not to pursue a hedonic life, not to pursue status let alone pursue wealth at all costs. While the goal of Islamic economics is also to uphold justice and brotherhood. The ultimate goal of Islamic economics is to achieve equity or balance in the distribution of income. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis which aims to get an overview of the foundation and philosophy as well as motivation and economic goals in Islamic economics.

Abstract

This article discusses ibn Athaillah's philosophical thinking about the ugliness of the covid-19 case study as an implication of ugliness. Theology is a study in which it tends to question the justice and omnipotency of god. The study is based on literature review (Literature Review) in its literature review and in its descriptive and scholarly analysis of ibn Athaillah's corrupt thinking. In this study, the approach referred to is the "Multi-disciplinary" approach to the phenomenon of the covid-19 case study, the theological aspect of the concept of almighty belief and justice of the God in the covid-19 case, and the philosophical or sufis aspect of the thinking ibn Athaillah brought. Ibn Athaillah answered and discussed the corruption of the "Taj Al-‘Arus Al-Hawi Li Tahdzib Al-Nufus". The findings of this study are the covid-19 virus (evil) as an expression of God's affection for man by testing his loyal, patient, and faithful servants, although such vices are physically painful and not because God is not merciful, the Lord is not gracious and the Lord is not merciful. Behind such badness, however, became a medium and a pleasure to climb up to the God, cleanse sin, and draw men to the Lord.

Abstract

Increased economic power and growth in a country can be signaled from indicators of poverty levels and economic weakness. Poverty is the main reason for moral hazart and the unstable economy of a nation. Cash waqf exists to solve and overcome these socio-economic problems. Cash waqf has universal power and strength where every individual will be able to donate wealth without certain limits. Cash waqf is also very strategic in building and presenting employment areas and reducing unemployment in selective production activities according to Sharia rules and benefits. waqf has the potential to empower the real sector and strengthen economic fundamentals. Through the instrument of cash waqf, poverty alleviation can be overcome through the hands of the Government in the channel of community empowerment programs. The target of waqf in Indonesia is actually able to create social welfare for the community as the goal of economic justice, hence the need for effective waqf nadzir governance. Cash waqf has tremendous economic potential to take care of the mustadh'afiin group as well as to alleviate poverty, especially because the sociological conditions of the Indonesian people are Muslim so that waqf funds that can be collected from the community are very possible
