Abstract

This research is based on the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which continues to grow rapidly and unstoppably, so it has a big influence on the spread of Islamic religious knowledge. The open learning course is a system that will be developed for the current era. However, Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools, still maintain the classical world of learning? The purpose of this article is to assess the perceptions of managers of Islamic educational institutions, especially at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong, regarding online-based open learning courses. The method used is qualitative with observation and distributing questionnaires to collect data. The results show that the majority of administrators at Ma'had Al-Ittihad Islami Camplong prefer to maintain traditional learning models rather than trying to adopt open learning courses, due to a lack of references and understanding regarding open learning courses. Therefore, socialization efforts are needed regarding open learning courses and the importance of spreading Islamic religious knowledge that is brsanad and mutawatir (continued) in the current context.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the equation of the principles of human rights (HAM) in two important historical documents, namely the Medina Charter and the 1945 Constitution (1945 Constitution) Indonesia. The Medina Charter, as the first social contract in Islamic history, and the 1945 Constitution, as the Indonesian constitution, has a big impact in the development and protection of human rights in each context. This study uses a document analysis method to identify and compare the principles of human rights contained in the two documents. It was found that there were a number of equations of human rights principles in the Medina Charter and the 1945 Constitution, even in different contexts. Universal principles such as freedom of religion, the right to life, and right of justice appear to be present in both documents. However, the implementation and interpretation of these principles can vary depending on differences in the context of history, culture, and politics in which these documents are produced. In addition, this research also highlighted the role and development of the concept of human rights from the Medina Charter to the 1945 Constitution. Although there are a number of changes and adjustments, it appears that human rights principles have become an integral part of the legal structure in accommodating community needs. In conclusion, although there are contextual differences between the Medina Charter and the 1945 Constitution, this research identifies the equation of human rights principles that reflect universal human values. Understanding of this equation can provide further insight about the evolution of the concept of human rights in history and how these values remain relevant in the context of modern society.

Abstract

This journal delves into the implementation of Salam transactions in accordance with Fatwa DSN MUI No 05/DSN-MUI/IV/2000, focusing on a profound understanding of the definition of Salam transactions, clear identification of goods and prices, and the aspects of transparency and clarity in agreements. Upfront payment is deemed crucial to avoiding speculative elements and ensuring contract fulfillment according to the principles of Salam transactions. Moreover, transactions must align with the principles of Islamic Sharia, including the avoidance of usury and uncertainty (gharar), necessitating thorough documentation. The journal recommends consultation with Sharia legal experts or scholars to ensure authenticity in compliance with the latest developments in fatwas or scholars' interpretations. Additionally, the paper reviews the implementation of Salam contracts on the Sharia-compliant marketplace, Pasar Al Huda, within the framework of Sharia Economic Law. Various parties, such as buyers, sellers, the delivered goods, and the contracting process (sighat), play vital roles in ensuring the smoothness and authenticity of transactions in the marketplace. Buyers bear the responsibility of understanding the legal aspects and transaction conditions, while sellers must comprehend the law, avoid breaching commitments, and ensure timely delivery as agreed upon. Key elements in executing Salam contracts include clarity in goods, prices, delivery times, and the expression of mutual consent (ijab qabul).

Abstract

Surah Al-Ikhlas, as one of the chapters in the Quran, consists of four concise yet profoundly meaningful verses. This particular surah delves into the attributes of Allah and holds a central focus in the epistemology of Sufi interpretation, especially in the practice of tariqah by Sufi practitioners. This research aims to unveil the messages contained within Surah Al-Ikhlas through the epistemological study of Sufi interpretation by Sahl al-Tustari. The surah is not merely regarded as a sacred text but also as a guide to understanding spirituality and shaping an excellent personal character, particularly in the context of Sufism. While various approaches to Surah Al-Ikhlas have been explored in previous research, there is a gap in exploring the epistemology of Sufi interpretation by Sahl al-Tustari. By comprehending his views and interpretations of Surah Al-Ikhlas, it is anticipated that a profound understanding of the spiritual dimension and personal experience in comprehending the essence of the Quranic text can be achieved. The research methodology involves analyzing the works of Sahl al-Tustari, focusing on the maudhu’i method and Sufi approach. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to a general understanding of the epistemology of Sufi interpretation, particularly in the context of Surah Al-Ikhlas, and uncover the spiritual values within the Quranic text.
