Abstract

This study aims to analyze and forecast the movement of the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) in Singapore using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) time series approach. The data employed are secondary quarterly time series data covering the period from 2015 to 2025. The analysis follows the Box-Jenkins methodology, including stationarity testing, differencing, model identification through ACF and PACF correlograms, parameter estimation, diagnostic testing, and forecasting. The results indicate that the data are non-stationary at the level form but become stationary after first-order differencing. Based on the comparison of several candidate models, ARIMA(0,1,1) is selected as the most appropriate model, as it provides the lowest information criteria values among the alternatives. Diagnostic testing confirms that the residuals behave as white noise, indicating that the model is adequate for forecasting purposes. The forecasting results reveal a consistent upward trend in Singapore’s RPPI over the period 2026 to 2028. These findings suggest sustained growth in residential property prices and demonstrate that the ARIMA model effectively captures the historical pattern of the data and produces reliable forecasts. Therefore, this study contributes by providing predictive insights that can support decision-making in the property sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product quality, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and variety seeking on brand switching behavior among Scarlett consumers in Denpasar. The study population consisted of Generation Z consumers who use Scarlett products in Denpasar. A total of 96 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that product quality, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and variety seeking have a negative and significant influence on brand switching behavior; meaning that higher perceived product quality, more positive e-WOM, and the availability of product variety contribute to reducing consumers' tendency to switch to competing brands. Continuous product quality improvement, effective management of positive online reviews, and continuous product innovation are important strategies to minimize brand switching and strengthen customer loyalty among Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the logo design branding strategy implemented by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Surakarta and its influence on consumer purchasing loyalty. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from 5 (five) MSME owners and 5 consumers in Surakarta. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis by Miles et al and the Nvivo 15 application. The results of the study indicate that an attractive image of the MSME logo design, prominent uniqueness, and simplicity of the logo design proved to be an effective combination in attracting consumer attention and building a strong brand image. In addition, consistent branding with a good logo contributes to increasing consumer purchasing loyalty. MSMEs that implement a good branding strategy through logo design tend to have a higher level of purchasing loyalty. This study has an urgency to provide insight for other MSMEs in optimizing branding strategies to retain customers.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the accounting profession's adaptation strategies amidst changes in digital technology and identify new roles for accountants in the digital economy. A qualitative approach using grounded theory was used, and data was obtained through in-depth interviews with accounting academics and practitioners, as well as analysis of relevant literature. This approach was chosen to delve deeply into the dynamics, perceptions, and subjective experiences of accountants in navigating digital transformation. The results indicate that accountants are being required to transform into financial data analysts, digital internal control system developers, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based sustainability reporting consultants. The emerging need for more transparent, real-time, and data-driven reporting expands the strategic role of accountants in business decision-making. The theory developed from these findings suggests that digital adaptation is a continuous process that requires systemic support from educational institutions, professional organizations, and regulators. This study confirms that without a structured adaptation strategy, the accounting profession risks being left behind in the digital economy ecosystem

Abstract

This study examines failures to provide Article 23 income-tax documents as an administrative requirement of study-program accreditation. Higher-education institutions are treated as withholding organizations under accreditation pressure, not merely as collections of individual taxpayers. A qualitative case study in one accreditation body draws on interviews with three finance-unit informants, documentation—including records of about 300 noncompliant programs and observation of verification procedures. Document defects are recurrent: misidentification of the withholding party, missing valid withholding slips, payment evidence without a verifiable state-revenue number, limited use of e-Bupot and Coretax, and weak academic–finance coordination. Tax literacy is therefore an organizational capability. Its absence stalls certificate issuance at an administrative gate and delays program legitimacy. The study extends tax-literacy research to higher-education governance and informs internal procedures, accreditation design, and education for organizational withholding agents.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is a crucial pillar of the economy of Central Java Province as a national food granary. However, spatial disparities in agricultural productivity exist among regencies/cities. This study aims to analyze the effects of the number of financial institutions, rainfall, land area, irrigated land area, and the number of farmers on agricultural productivity in 35 regencies/cities of Central Java in 2023, while accounting for spatial spillover effects. Secondary data were analyzed using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression and the Spatial Lag Model (SLM) after the Lagrange Multiplier test indicated spatial lag dependence. The SLM results show that land area has a positive and significant effect, while the number of farmers and rainfall have negative and significant effects on agricultural productivity. The number of financial institutions has a positive but insignificant effect, and irrigated land area has a negative but insignificant effect. The findings also confirm the existence of positive spatial spillover effects among regions. Improving agricultural productivity in Central Java requires an integrated inter-regional policy approach that utilizes high-productivity areas as leading regions.
