Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors driving the use of PayLater services among housewives in Pontianak, with a focus on financial literacy, promotions, and hedonistic motivations. With the development of digital payment systems, PayLater services, which offer delayed payment options, have become increasingly popular among consumers. This study used a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique to survey 97 housewives in Pontianak. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure financial literacy, the influence of promotions, hedonism, and the use of PayLater services using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that financial literacy, promotions, and hedonism have a significant influence on the decision to use PayLater services, with promotions and hedonism having a stronger influence than financial literacy. Special offers such as discounts and cashback encourage usage, while the hedonistic desire for immediate gratification and consumption also plays a significant role.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of waste that occurs in the warehousing process at PT. XYZ through the implementation of lean warehousing. Data analysis in this study uses the lean warehousing method, namely Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to find critical waste in the warehousing process using the Waste Assessment Model (WAM) which then identifies the root causes of waste using a fishbone diagram and analyzes improvement recommendations using the FMEA method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the levels of critical waste from the highest to the lowest, respectively, are waste waiting, waste unnecessary motion, waste over-processing, and waste defect. Based on the fishbone diagram analysis, there are 6 factors that cause the four critical wastes, namely human factors, method, material, environment, measurement, and machine. The proposed improvements that are the result of the analysis using FMEA are implementing the 5S concept in the warehouse, implementing a FIFO system for placing goods in the warehouse, increasing the number of workers, optimizing employee placement, and implementing a warehouse management system.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) from the Jubelio platform in the warehouse of CV. ABC, a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) operating in the retail apparel sector. The research employs the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach to identify and analyze key risks affecting warehouse operational efficiency. The findings reveal that although WMS adoption has reduced manual recording errors, challenges remain, such as inventory data inaccuracies, device integration limitations, and insufficient staff training. Based on the FMEA analysis, the highest-priority risks include inventory recording errors, delays in data updates, and discrepancies between digital stock data and physical stock conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of digital marketing, word of mouth, and trust on purchasing decisions for Suzuki cars at PT. Megah Putra Sejahtera in Makassar. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 160 customers of PT. Megah Putra Sejahtera. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results show that digital marketing and word of mouth have a positive and significant impact on customer trust. Trust, in turn, significantly affects the purchasing decision for Suzuki cars. However, the direct impact of digital marketing and word of mouth on purchasing decisions, without the mediation of trust, was not found to be significant. These findings suggest that customer trust is an important mediating variable in the relationship between digital marketing, word of mouth, and purchasing decisions. The study recommends that future research consider additional variables such as service quality, product quality, and reference groups to further enrich the analysis of purchasing decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the adoption level, implementation, and the challenges and barriers to human resource (HR) adaptation in applying AI-based digital transformation among MSMEs in Gowa Regency. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The findings reveal varying levels of AI adoption among MSMEs. MSMEs engaged in screen printing and digital printing have started leveraging technologies such as Bing Image Creator to streamline graphic design processes, while the majority still face technological literacy barriers. Major challenges include limited knowledge, a digital divide between urban and rural areas, and a lack of technological skills. The study emphasizes the critical role of HR development through digital literacy training and technological infrastructure support. Therefore, an integrated strategy involving the government, educational institutions, and MSMEs is essential to fully capitalize on AI-based digital transformation benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the main causes of warp-jump defects in gray fabric production at PT XYZ using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). This analysis identified two main causes: decreased machine performance and operator fatigue. The FMEA results indicate that these factors contribute significantly to product defects, with machine performance having the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN). This study suggests that routine machine maintenance and improved workforce management through closer training and supervision are crucial to reducing defects and increasing operational efficiency.

Abstract

Danantara Indonesia is the latest Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) established by the Indonesian government to optimize state assets through strategic investments. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to analyze Danantara’s sustainable strategy in achieving global competitiveness. The study utilizes the Triple Bottom Line (TBL), VRIO Framework, and PESTEL Analysis to evaluate competitive advantages, external factors, and the balance between social, environmental, and economic aspects. The findings indicate that Danantara possesses sustainable competitive advantages in the form of access to strategic assets and government support, yet still faces challenges in governance, transparency, and global market volatility. External factors such as green investment regulations and urbanization trends create opportunities for Danantara to invest in renewable energy, infrastructure, and public services. To strengthen its position, Danantara must implement investment diversification strategies, optimize governance based on the Santiago Principles, and leverage digital technology for risk management and investment decision-making. By adopting sustainability-oriented strategies, Danantara can evolve into a global player in the investment industry while contributing to national economic development. Additionally, partnerships with international investors serve as a strategic step to accelerate Danantara’s global expansion.
