Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of WMS at PT XYZ Branch Bandung-Leuwigajah, a large distribution company in Indonesia, focusing on issues such as discrepancies between system data and physical stock, difficulties in recording product returns, and wasted time in manual stocktaking processes. The research employs a qualitative approach, using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and semi-structured interviews with relevant personnel at the company. The results indicate that the implementation of WMS can reduce errors in stock management and improve operational efficiency, particularly in stocktaking and product return management. Furthermore, the study also identifies challenges in integrating the system with diverse product characteristics and the need for further training to maximize the use of WMS.

Abstract

This study highlights key factors influencing tourists' intention to visit halal tourism destinations in West Java, focusing on the role of perceived behavioral control, perceived value, and perceived comfort and safety. Data collection used a questionnaire developed from previous literature with specific adjustments related to halal tourism. Data were collected from 187 Muslim respondents using an online questionnaire. The results indicate that core resources, attractors, and effective destination management significantly enhance perceived behavioral control and value, which in turn shape tourists' sense of comfort and safety, ultimately influencing their intention to visit. This study highlights the competitive advantage of destinations that prioritize comfort and safety, improve service quality, and increase the likelihood of repeat visits and recommendations. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the destination competitiveness framework, this study deepens our understanding of the motivators driving halal tourism.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) are believed as valuable assets for a company in achieving business success and specialized services, especially at PT. Bank Negeri (real company name is hidden). The main purposes of this study are to determine the influence of job satisfaction and external work opportunities on turnover intention, mediated by organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Another aim of this study is to contribute insights into better HR management for the company. The primary data consisted of questionnaires responses collected from employees at the PT. Bank Negeri Headquarters and secondary data gathered from literature reviews. The research methodology employed includes outer model and inner model analysis, as well as hypothesis testing. Data processing in this study was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SMART PLS software. The findings of this study resulted that OCB mediates the correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention but does not mediate the relationship between external work opportunities and turnover intention. These findings offer valuable insights for improved HR management.

Abstract

Audit committee size is used as a moderating variable in this study to see how deferred tax expense affects indications of tax avoidance after being moderated and to see the effect of internal control, investment in fixed assets, and deferred tax expense affecting indications of tax avoidance before being moderated. Tax is a mandatory contribution that must be given to the state. This study used 100 observational samples from 20 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2021. Panel data regression analysis and moderation regression were used as analytical methods in this study. The findings show that the indicator of tax avoidance is simultaneously influenced by internal control variables, fixed asset investment, and deferred tax expenses. The fixed asset investment variable has a negative impact on indications of tax avoidance. However, indications of tax avoidance are not affected by internal control variables and deferred tax expense. In addition, deferred tax expense for indications of tax avoidance is not affected by the size of the audit committee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing a gamification strategy on Fairy Nails' customer loyalty in 2023-2024. The study used a quantitative descriptive method. Quantitative data in the form of number of customers, frequency of visits, repeat purchase rate (RPR) per quarter, and monthly sales data before and after the gamification program adjustments were obtained from internal documentation and processed using descriptive analysis in the form of percentage calculations and before and after calculations. The results show that Fairy Nails implements gamification through a loyalty card-based points collection and reward exchange system. Empirically, the implementation of gamification has not been able to increase loyalty sustainably; RPR only increased in the first quarter of 2024 (27%) and decreased again in the second-third quarter of 2024 (19%). This study recommends simplifying the points system, increasing the reward value, digitizing point recording, and developing challenges and referral programs that are more suited to customer characteristics to increase customer engagement and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the elements that influence Generation Z's investment interest in Bali. The main objective is to assess the influence of financial inclusion, risk perception, and love of money on Generation Z's investment interest, with technological advancement serving as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative research approach, this study employed purposive sampling and sample size determination based on the Lemeshow formula, resulting in a total of 326 respondents. Primary data were collected through online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms on social media platforms, and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings indicate that financial inclusion has a significant positive influence on Generation Z's investment interest. Similarly, risk perception also explains a significant positive correlation with investment interest among this generation of Z. In addition, love of money is proven to have a significant positive effect on their investment interest. However, it should be noted that technological advancement significantly reduces the impact of financial inclusion on Generation Z's investment interest. Conversely, technological advancement does not significantly increase the relationship between risk perception and investment interest, but significantly strengthens the influence of love of money on investment interest in this generation of Z.

This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on 329 respondents who are social media users and buyers of international fashion brands. The data analysis techniques used are SEM and SmartPLS. The results of this study found that there is a proven hypothesis in this study, namely the Celebrity Endorser variable has a significant direct influence on the e-WOM variable, and the E-WOM, Brand Image, and Brand Love variables have a significant direct influence on the Trust variable. However, the Celebrity Endorser and Brand Awareness variables do not have a direct influence on the Trust variable. This finding shows the importance of the role of e-WOM, brand image, and brand love in fostering trust in international fashion brands.
