Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui campur kode yang digunakan dalan keluarga perkawinan campuran Indonesia-Turki pada kanal YouTube Isti Ve Musab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis yang berfokus pada wujud campur kode yang terdapat dalam kanal YouTube Isti Ve Musab. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak-catat, yaitu data temuan dari simak video dicatat temuan campur kodenya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa tuturan dalam keluarga perkawinan campuran Indonesia-Turki pada kanal YouTube Isti Ve Musab menunjukkan adanya penggunaan campur kode jenis ke luar (outer code-mixing) yang melibatkan tiga bahasa, yaitu bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa Turki. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa campur kode bahasa Inggris lebih sering digunakan sebagai bahasa sisipan dibandingkan bahasa Turki, yaitu dengan perbandingan 2: 1 dalam setiap konten video. Abstract

This study investigates psycholinguistic aspects related to human thought processes in understanding and producing language by analyzing maxim violations in the CXO Media podcast featuring Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa (Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners). By applying pragmatic qualitative methods and a descriptive approach, this study aims to reveal how spontaneous communication strategies in oral conversations can deviate from the Cooperative Principle proposed by Grice. The results of the analysis revealed 7 (seven) findings of maxim violations including, 4 (four) violations of the maxim of quality, characterized by exaggeration and simplification of facts without sufficient evidence, 2 (two) violations of the maxim of quantity due to providing unclear and inconsistent information, and 1 (one) violation of the maxim of manner involving the use of unclear, repetitive, and wordy language. Overall, these findings indicate that maxim violations in the context of sensitive issues such as customer fund security and cyber attacks act as psychological tools to convince the public, build a positive image, and provide a sense of security to listeners through persuasive delivery.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the personalities of the main characters in short stories published on Kompas.id in 2025. The data sources for this research consist of five short stories: “Hujan” by Tri Utari, “Pengorbanan Sulung” by Bagus Sulistio, “Bu, Aku Gagal” by Dedy Tri Riyadi, “Rumah di dalam Kepala” by Novand Subyanto Maxsonara, and “Kawah Gunung dalam Dada” by Rahayu Ditira Jayanti, which will be analyzed using a literary psychology approach based on Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. This is a qualitative research employing a descriptive-analytical method. Data collection was conducted using documentation and observation-note-taking techniques. The results of this research indicate that (1) Id aspect is evident in basic affective needs, such as the need for affection, emotional comfort, and personal ambition. (2) Ego aspect acts as a mediator, evident through the character’s ability to respond to reality, such as resistance, emotional regulation, and adaptation through hard work. (3) Super Ego aspect is evident through developing moral awareness, manifested in the form of remorse, acceptance, and relationship reconciliation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of cultural imagery in the poetry collection Sangkolan Mata Celurit Mata Sabit by Roz Ekki using a cultural studies perspective. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data are in the form of words, lines, and stanzas in the poetry collection containing cultural imagery. The data collection technique is carried out through the documentation method by reading, recording, and classifying parts of the text related to environmental cultural imagery. Data analysis is carried out by interpreting symbols, imagery, and diction that represent the relationship between Madurese society and nature. The results of the study show that the image of environmental culture is depicted through natural symbols such as fields, land, sea, coastal winds, and farming and fishing activities that show the closeness of Madurese society to nature. Imagery. Thus, this collection of poetry is not only an aesthetic work, but also represents the cultural identity of Madurese society and the relationship between humans and the environment that shapes their lives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process, form, and feasibility of the product of Educaplay-assisted biographical text teaching materials for grade X SMK students. The development process uses the Research and Development (R&D) method of the Borg and Gall model which includes the stages of potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation by material experts and media experts, and design revisions. The resulting product is in the form of biographical text teaching materials that are packaged interactively through the Educaplay platform so that they are more interesting and easier for students to understand. The feasibility of the product was determined through expert assessment with a percentage of 91.07% from material experts and 86.3% from media experts, with an average of 88.6% categorized as very feasible. Thus, the developed product is considered suitable for use in Indonesian language learning in grade X SMK.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the identification of issues and the need for teaching materials on coherent writing. The study aims to develop teaching materials on coherence between ideas in writing biographical texts for 10th-grade students based on a genre-based pedagogical approach. This study falls under the category of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), which was adapted to include analysis, design, and development. The data collected consisted of observation results and a needs analysis questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using both quantitative and qualitative methods. The result of this study is teaching materials on coherence between ideas in writing 10th-grade biographical texts based on a genre pedagogy approach. The quality of the teaching materials on coherence between ideas in writing biographical texts received a rating of 97.8% from subject matter experts and 98.75% from learning methodology experts, with a rating category of “very good/highly suitable.” This study produced teaching materials that can serve as an additional resource for training students' writing skills in creating coherent texts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the personality structure of the main character, Ayrania, in Awaliarrahman’s novel Kiblat Cinta through a literary psychology approach, specifically utilizing Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. The method employed is descriptive-analytical qualitative research, with data collection involving a literature review through close reading and note-taking of the novel’s text corpus. The results of the analysis indicate that Ayrania’s personality is shaped by the complex dynamics between the id, ego, and superego. The id is characterized by impulsive, emotional drives and the desire for instant gratification. The ego operates based on the reality principle to temper the id’s impulses so they align with environmental conditions, as seen in polite behavior and anger management. Meanwhile, the superego acts as a moral compass dictating the character’s adherence to social norms, ethics, and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of discrimination, the forms of inequality according to Mansour Fakih, and the relationship between the two. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilising data collection techniques such as documentation and literature review. The results indicate the existence of six forms of discrimination against female figures and five forms of gender inequality according to Mansour Fakih. The most prevalent form of discrimination is violence against women, whilst the least common is the exploitation of women. The most frequently identified form of inequality according to Mansour Fakih is violence, whilst the least common is excessive workload. The findings reveal a correlation between forms of discrimination and gender inequality such as marginalisation, subordination, stereotyping, violence, and excessive workload.

Abstract

This study examines the crisis of meaning in life experienced by the character Khalil in Jaquenza Eden’s novel, Berpayung Tuhan, through Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy perspective. The research focuses on analyzing existential crises, underlying pressures, post-death reflections, and the reconstruction of meaning. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a psychology of literature approach, data were collected through close reading and note-taking of narratives and dialogues. The results indicate that Khalil’s crisis was triggered by failed life goals, social pressures, and an inability to find meaning in suffering, leading to an existential vacuum. The narrative’s post-death reflection serves as an evaluative space that fosters moral awareness. Meaning is reconstructed by integrating attitudinal, experiential, and creative values. This study underscores that literature not only represents existential struggles but also serves as a reflective medium for discovering life's meaning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of internal conflict experienced by the main character, Insyira (Sisi), in Aqila Nila’s novel Ummi untuk Gamal and their relevance to character education values. Employing a literary psychology approach based on Kurt Lewin’s conflict theory, this descriptive qualitative research utilizes reading and note-taking techniques for data collection. The findings reveal three types of internal conflict: approach-approach (positive–positive), which is the most dominant; avoidance-avoidance (negative–negative); and approach-avoidance (positive–negative). These conflicts reflect the protagonist’s struggle between personal desires, moral obligations, and decision-making ambivalence. Furthermore, the results indicate that these internal dynamics are closely linked to character education values, including religiosity, responsibility, caring, hard work, and independence. It is concluded that internal conflict not only drives the plot but also serves as a vehicle for character building. This novel is highly relevant as a reflective and educative medium in literary learning, particularly for the younger generation.
