Abstract

Entering the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 sparked a number of tourism industry especially in the hospitality sector to improve its performance with the expectations of consumers intend to be loyal. Therefore need to be attentive hospitality managers to examine the variables that affect the intention to be loyal. Several previous studies have explained that the quality of service and customer value is not the only variable that affects loyalty intention, but some research suggests that atmospheric cues influence on loyalty intention. Some research explains that atmospheric cues did not moderate the relationship of service quality on loyalty intention. This study aimed to examine the effect of service quality and customer value on loyalty intention and to test the moderating variable atmospheric cues. The research results that atmospheric cues significant positive effect on loyalty intention. Atmospheric cues also moderate and weaken the impact of service quality relationships and loyalty intention. After the subgroup analysis. The results also explain that the significant positive effect on customer loyalty intention. Memasuki ASEAN Economic Community 2015 memicu sejumlah industri khususnya pariwisata pada sektor perhotelan untuk meningkatkan performanya dengan harapan konsumen menjadi loyal. Oleh sebab itu perlu menjadi perhatian manajer perhotelan untuk mengkaji variabel yang berpengaruh pada niat menjadi loyal. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu memaparkan bahwa kualitas layanan dan nilai pelanggan bukan satu-satunya variabel yang memengaruhi loyalty intention, namun beberapa penelitian mengemukakan bahwa atmospheric cues berpengaruh pada loyalty intention. Beberapa hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa atmospheric cues tidak memoderasi hubungan kualitas layanan pada loyalty intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas layanan dan nilai pelanggan pada loyalty intention serta menguji variabel pemoderasi atmospheric cues. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atmospheric cues berpengaruh positif signifikan pada loyalty intention. Atmospheric cues juga memoderasi dan berdampak memperlemah hubungan kualitas layanan dan loyalty intention. Setelah dilakukan subgroup analysis. Hasil penelitian juga menjelaskan bahwa nilai pelanggan berpengaruh positif signifikan pada loyalty intention.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to identify the development of facilities in Cibinong Subdistric to analyze the role of Cibinong Subdistric as the centre of economic Growth in Bogor regency, and to analyse the changing structure of labour in Cibinong Subdistrict. This research was a quantitative descriptive research. The data used was secondary data which was from Statistic Center Agency (BPS) in Bogor Regency and BAPPEDA. This study using data PODES 2005 and 2011, data from Population Cencus of 2000 and 2010. Quantitative analysis were Scalogram Analysis, transformation labour and descriptif analysis. The result showed that the highest score of facilities was in Cibinong Subdistric. Cibinong Subdistric as the center of economic development growth in Bogor Regency (hierarchy I). Labor structure in Cibinong Subdistrict was changing from dominan in agricultural sector to manufacturing and service sectors.   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengembangan fasilitas di Cibinong Kecamatan serta menganalisis peran Cibinong Kecamatan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Bogor dan struktur perubahan tenaga kerja di Cibinong Kecamatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang berasal dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) di Kabupaten Bogor dan BAPPEDA dengan menggunakan data tahun 2005 dan PODES 2011, data dari Penduduk Sensus 2000 dan 2010. Analisis kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini adalah Scalogram Analisis, tenaga kerja transformasi dan deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor tertinggi fasilitas berada di Kecamatan Cibinong. Kecamatan Cibinong sebagai pusat pertumbuhan pembangunan ekonomi di Kabupaten Bogor (hirarki I). Struktur tenaga kerja di Kecamatan Cibinong berubah dari dominan di sektor pertanian dengan sektor manufaktur dan jasa.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of PKK as a means of empowering women to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDG's). Research sites are the PKK of Pasar Minggu district, South Jakarta and the PKK of Ciputat district, South Tangerang city. The results showed that PKK is an organization that is potentially a means of empowerment and equal participation of women in development effectively. All of work programs are oriented to the empowerment of women, although implementation is still in top down orientation, not bottom up as expected. The PKK is also only able to empower female members only, not to have an impact on the empowerment of women non-members. Nevertheless the benefits are felt by the surroundings community, especially the Posyandu programs for the toddlers and the elderlies. The targeted, measurable, and intensive trainings as well as support from the local governments are still required in order to empower women through the PKK.

Abstract

The objective creation of new products and improvement of services is to retain existing customers and attract new customers. Customers are satisfied with the services received will foster customer loyalty so that will be a loyal customer. The purpose of this study is to analyze how much influence the quality of service, product quality and customer satisfaction as a predictor of customer loyalty on the PT. BPR Syarikat Madani. The data were processed using the statistical program for Windows version 20.0 Amos to test for normality, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and test the effect of using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study concludes that the quality of service and product quality significantly influence customer satisfaction. While the quality of service and quality of products have a significant effect on customer loyalty. Product quality significantly affect customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty perpengaruh significant.   Tujuan penciptaan berbagai produk dan peningkatan layanan tersebut adalah untuk mempertahankan nasabah lama dan menarik nasabah baru. Nasabah yang merasa puas terhadap pelayanan yang diterimanya akan menumbuhkan loyalitas nasabah sehingga akan menjadi nasabah yang setia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis seberapa jauh pengaruh kualitas layanan, kualitas produk dan kepuasan sebagai nasabah prediktor terhadap loyalitas nasabah pada PT. BPRS Syarikat Madani. Data diolah menggunakan program statistik Amos for Windows version 20.0 untuk menguji normalitas, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) serta uji pengaruh menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Sementara kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Kualitas produk berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah dan kepuasan nasabah perpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah.

Abstract

In Maluku there were small scale traditional food processing activities for fisheries product such as curing and drying, which has a great potential to be developed. This study aims to identify the determinants of food processed, and the role of female labor in increasing family welfare of traditional fishermen. This descriptive study was done in four districts, namely: Leihitu, Banda, West Seram, and East Seram. A business unit was used for analysis with purposive and random sampling. The results showed that processed output was determined mainly by the husbands catches and purchased fish. Business scale in all districts was economically rational decisions and could be improved because it shows the increasing return to scale. Processing jobs are mostly done by woman. Value added created could be used to cover most of the monthly household expenses, and improve the family welfare, which were characterized by permanent and semi-permanent houses occupied, and increasing level of education of family members. However, the fishermen welfare could be increased more by incorporating fish cage system in their aquaculture to increase inputs and improving marketing strategy.

Abstract

Migration is one of the phenomena related social welfare. People tend to migrate to increase their income for better life. This research aims to observe the migration type in coastal area related to poverty and food security, to identify its determinant, to identify the impact of migration activities, and to research the relationship between dynamics of urban-rural labor and capital flow from two areas (urban and rural) and to study the effect of migration to income re-distribution and push the economic growth in coastal areas that caused reducing poverty and gaining better food quality. This research used descriptive statistics method and the primary data was collected by interviewing respondents in Indramayu sampling areas (Eretan Wetan. Eretan Kulon, Dadap and Ilir village). The result shows that in the origin area of migration, type of migration was monthly migration. The cause of migration were resource accessibility, productive asset ownerships, and rural economic growth. In general, by this type of migration, social welfare condition of people in Indramayu sampling areas was in better condition.

Abstract

In econometric time series analysis, data which have high volatility would be very risky to be used as a basis for forecasting, including the volatility of food prices in Indonesia. Time series data have a tendency to have a constant confounding error variance over time. Appropriate econometric model to estimate such behavior is called the Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) model and the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH) model. This paper attempts to use ARCH/GARCH models to explain the behavior of food price inflation in Indonesia in time period of 2005.1 to 2010.6. It is explained that by incorporating elements of ARCH/GARCH, better estimates will be achieved.

Abstract

Learning organization can be defined as the ability of organization to advance its capacity creating its future. The concept of learning organization which is common in private sector is also applicable to the public factor. Organization can not learn, only individual that learns. For being a learning organization, organization must facilitate individual with effective structure. At Universitas Terbuka, the Indonesia Open Learning University, individual learning is not related with organizational structure. In some occasion, organizational structure restricted individual learning. At the level of group, organizational structure has been affecting the group abilility for learning. To ovesrcome the inhibition of the formal structure, team usually informal communication channel.

Abstract

In accounting, there are two methods used in recording business combinations i.e purchase and pooling of interest method. Purchase method has ameasurable indication with the withdrawal of cash beside the cost of business combination and stock issuance costs incurred by the company buyer. In addition to that, there will be changes of ownership. The assets acquired by a business entity are recorded and recognized at market value. As a consequence, the excess of fixed assets will be recorded as goodwill. Meanwhile if the business combination uses the pooling of interest method, then the amount of assets, debts and rights of shareholders that are reported by the affiliated companies will be recognized in accordance with its book value. APB No.16 notes that there are 12 requirements that must be met when using pooling of interest method. If it does not meet any of these requirements then the combined companies must use the purchase method. There is no goodwill in pooling interest method. It means that in the merger process there is no obligation to pay taxes since it based on book value and no goodwill.

Abstract

Pengurangan karyawan adalah salah satu strategi yang kerapkali dilakukan oleh organisasi karena alasan tertentu. Studi ini merupakan studi literatur dari beberapa penelitian yang dilakukan selama 30 tahun terakhir mengenai pengurangan karyawan sebagai salah satu strategi. Pada masa resesi pengurangan karyawan dimaksudkan untuk mengurangi biaya sedangkan setelah masa ekonomi global dimana terjadi resesi ekonomi global pengurangan karyawan seringkali ditujukan agar organisasi mampu bertahan hidup. Dalam beberapa penelitian disebutkan bahwa pengurangan karyawan sebagai strategi yang seringkali digunakan organisasi untuk tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas organisasi justru seringkali tidak berhasil mencapai tujuan. Berbagai alasan mengapa suatu organisasi melakukan pengurangan karyawan serta berbagai dampak pengurangan karyawan akan dipaparkan termasuk pada kinerja keuangan organisasi, pengetahuan organisasi, fungsi dan produktivitas organisasi dan pada tenaga kerja baik yang meninggalkan organisasi dan mereka yang bertahan. Banyak penelitian yang telah dilakukan namun tidak menyebutkan mengenai pengurangan karyawan sebagai strategi sumber daya manusia. Penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pengurangan karyawan patut dipertimbangkan terutama mengenai dampaknya terhadap fleksibilitas di tempat kerja dimana struktur ketenagakerjaan di beberapa sektor dan industri bergeser kearah tenaga kerja kontrak.
