Abstract

Objective: This study’s aim is to do an analysis on the effect of current ratio along with debt to equity ratio on return on assets in the property and real estate sub-sector that is on Indonesia Stock Exchange’s (IDX) list during 2020-2023, with the moderating variable being company size. Design/Methodology/Approach: Quantitative research methods were implemented for this study, with a causal associative approach. Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was applied as the technique for data analysis, with Eviews statistical software utilized. Findings: The findings revealed that current ratio as well as debt to equity ratio impact return on assets significantly. This means that an increased liquidity, along with the proportion of debt can reduce the efficiency and profitability of the company. Company size strengthens the effect by functioning as a moderating variable. Research Implications: This research only focuses on the real estate and property sub-sector that is on IDX’s list during 2020-2023. Therefore, this study’s results may not be generalizable to different sectors or periods. Practical Implications: Investors and company management can use this study’s results as a basis for financial decision-making, particularly in managing liquidity as well as leverage for increased profitability. Originality/Value: New insights are provided by this study into company size’s role as the moderating variable for the relationship between leverage, liquidity, along with profitability, especially in the real estate and property sector. Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effect of the Intellectual Capital Growth Rate (ROGIC) on the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, with Intellectual Capital (IC) as a mediating variable. Design/Methodology/Approach: Using a quantitative approach and path analysis, data from seven Islamic banks registered with the OJK for the 2018–2023 period were analyzed to measure the direct and indirect effects of ROGIC on Return on Assets (ROA). Findings: The results showed that ROGIC did not significantly affect ICs in most banks, and its immediate impact was limited. However, in banks such as KB Bukopin Syariah and BTPN Syariah, ROGIC has a significant indirect effect on financial performance through IC. These findings emphasize the importance of effective IC management in improving financial performance. Research limitations/implications: The limitations of the study include a limited sample, so further research with a larger sample and additional variables is recommended. Practical implications: The practical implication is the need for IC optimization by Islamic bank management. This research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between intellectual capital growth and financial performance in the context of Islamic banking. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

Purpose: This investigation aimed to ascertain how leadership style, position promotion, and job motivation affected Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) employees’ job satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach: This study’s methodology is quantitative and makes use of primary data collected from 132 employees. Research instrument testing, multiple regression analysis, traditional assumption testing, and hypothesis testing are examples of data analysis techniques. To use “Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25” as a tool for data processing and computation when conducting research. Findings: The findings demonstrate that at Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR), work motivation, leadership style, and position promotion all have a simultaneous and considerable influence on employee job satisfaction. Research limitations/implications: While there are several other elements that might also impact other employees’ job happiness, the three independent variables examined in this study are leadership style, promotion, and work motivation. Additionally, a questionnaire is used to collect data for this study, and the information gathered explains how Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) employees feel about their job satisfaction with the organization. Researchers have no control over the responses provided by respondents to each questionnaire. Practical implications: Lack of communication between leaders and employees and lack of space for employees to convey their input and aspirations. This implies that the lowest score on the employee job satisfaction variable needs to be improved by improving the compensation and benefits system so that employees feel valued and get proper welfare, establishing a welcoming and encouraging workplace to boost motivation and comfort among employees, providing career development programs and training to provide opportunities for employees to improve skills and career paths, implementing an objective and transparent performance appraisal system so that employees feel treated fairly in terms of promotions and awards and improving the balance between work and personal life with flexible work policies and proportional workloads. Originality/value: 87%. With the exception of a few brief quotes that are supplied as references, the researcher indicates that this study is unique and the first to be implemented at Perumda Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR). Methodology: The following study employed a quantitative methodology, utilizing a survey as the tool for data collection. Data was collected by administering surveys to staff members of 4 insurance companies in Cirebon City. The SPSS software was used to enable multiple linear regression in the data analysis process. Findings: The following research results prove that transformational leadership (X1), organizational commitment (X2), and management support (X3) have a positive and significant influence on innovation performance (Y) in insurance companies. This finding confirms the importance of creating effective transformational leadership, increasing organizational commitment, and providing optimal management support to encourage increased innovation performance in the insurance sector. Improving these three factors contributes significantly, encouraging employees to be more active in innovating, and improving overall company performance. The analysis proves that transformational leadership has a regression coefficient of 0.279, while organizational commitment reaches 0.536, and management support is 0.131. This underscores that these three factors are key to driving innovation. Originality/value: This paper is original Paper type: a Research Paper

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of marketing strategy on sales turnover with each moderating variable, namely social media and marketplace. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research is a causal associative research with a quantitative approach, for data processing with SEM method and using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The variables analyzed in this study are product (X1) , price (X2) , location/distribution (X3) , promotion (X4) , sales volume (Y) , social media (SM) and marketplace (M). The population in this study is MSMEs for beverage products with a total sample of 152 MSMEs. The data collection methods used were interviews and questionnaires with a Likert measurement scale, then the questionnaire was tested by T-test (partial) and F-test (simultaneous). Findings: The results of testing the X variable against Y with social media moderator show that all variables have a significant and positive effect except the price variable on sales volume in social media moderation (X2*SM -> Y) and promotion variables on sales volume in social media moderation (X4*SM -> Y) , both results were rejected because P Value > 0.05. While the research results from testing the X variable against Y with the marketplace moderator show that all variables have a significant and positive effect except the product variable on sales volume (X1 -> Y) and the price variable on sales volume in marketplace moderation (X2*M -> Y) , both results > 0.05 which means it is not significant.
