Abstract

In order to learn something well, we need to listen, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, students need to "do it", that is, describe things in their own way, show examples, try to practice skills and do assignments that demand the knowledge they have acquired. This research uses classroom action research in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages,namely: Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN 6 Wonorejo for the 2018/2019 academic year. The data obtained are in the form of formative test results, observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III,namely, cycle I (64.00%), cycle II (76.00%), cycle III (88.00%). The conclusion from this research is that problem-based contextual learning can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of Class V SDN 6 Wonorejo students in the 2018/2019 academic year, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning science.

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan kegiatan yang dirancang oleh guru agar siswa melaksanakan proses belajar. Acuan pembelajaran tidak boleh menyimpang dari kurikulum yang berlaku karena ia merupakan panduan baik bagi siswa maupun guru. Pembelajaran sebagai sebuah rantai kegiatan, harus mempertimbangkan pengetahuan awal dan kebutuhan siswa, dan harus diinformasikan kepada siswa. Pemberian   informasi  mengenai  pembelajaran   memerlukan  perantaraan   yaitu dengan bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi sejak jaman dahulu pada awal kehidupan manusia. Bahasa merupakan bagian penting dalam komunikasi pem-belajaran, baik dalam bentuknya yang verbal, maupun non verbal. Dalam pembelajaran, bahasa menjadi penentu keberhasilan kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

This study was to show the understanding level of physics lesson by the setudents of SMK SMTI Pontianak wich was still low. The learning of Physics had not been applied through the concept of contextual learning. It was purposeful that the usage of multimedia strengthened the students in learning Physics and made them be more active, innovative, creative, effective and fun. The Usage of multimedia in this classroom action research was able to improve the students’ learning achievement conducted in SMK SMTI Pontianak, Sulawesi Dalam Street Number 31 Pontianak, in the second semester on academic year 2016/2017. A total of 26 students of X-F grade of Industrial Chemistry (IC) played an active role in three cycles of this study. There wass an increase in learning achievement.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal diantaranya  Berdasarkan  tes kemampuan membaca dan hasil analisis yang dilakukan oleh guru, menunjukkan hasil yang kurang memuaskan yaitu dari 18 siswa hanya 4 ( 22% ) siswa  yang bisa membaca dengan lancar, 8 atau ( 44% ) siswa yang membaca dengan cara mengeja kemudian  merangkaikannya menjadi kata, dan ada 6 atau ( 34% ) siswa yang masing  mengalami kesulitan untuk membedakan huruf d dan  b, huruf l dan r, huruf p dan t, mereka sudah bisa mengeja huruf menjadi suku kata tetapi belum mampu merangkaikannya menjadi kata yang dimaksudkan. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru menyususn RPP dan melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran serta mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I SDN 7 Pendawan setelah menggunakan media kartu kata bergambar. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dilakukan PTK dengan menggunakan media kartu kata bergambar.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 7 Pendawan pada siswa kelas I sebanyak dua siklus. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan hasil test kemampuan membaca dan lembar pengamatan. Hasil tes kemampuan membaca siswa dan tingkat ketuntasan juga mengalami peningkatan. Analisis hasil tes kemampuan membaca pada siklus I adalah 72,57 dan siklus II 87,15, sedangkan ketuntasan rata-rata kemampuan membaca siswa siklus I adalah 66,67% dan siklus II 87,15%. Berdasarkan paparan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu katabergambar  dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I SDN7 Pendawan.

Abstract

The first stage in learning according to the standard process is learning planningthat is realized by the preparation of the Implementation Lesson Plan. In theframework of implementing the 2013 curriculum, teachers must prepare lessonplans by adjusting some components to the curriculum documents. There are some teachers who are confused when they have to formulate lesson plans because the subjects taught are different from their educational background, it has an impact on the failure of the learning process and also inhibits the improvement of the quality of the school itself. The problem solving that is applied in this research is to provide continuous guidance to the teacher in creating lesson plans. This study uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages: designing, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The targets of this study are all teachers at SDN 10 Nanga Tayap. The data obtained in the form of observations of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that the ability of teachers in arranging lesson plans has increased from cycle I to cycle II, that is, cycle I in the range of 109, with quite good categories, and in the second cycle in the range of 152 with very good categories. The conclusion from this study is that the method of sustainable guidance can positively influence the ability of teachers in preparing lesson plans at SDN 10 Nanga Tayap.

Abstract

Sports activity for grade V elementary school students is not an abstract experience. Therefore, the use of used cardboard props is very important to make it easier for students to learn the long jump practice. One of the alternative props that can be used in the long jump practice is used cardboard (KB). The purpose of this research is to find out that the use of used cardboard props (KB) can improve the long jump ability of grade V students of SDN 11 Durian Sebatang, Seponti District, Kayong Utara Regency. After carrying out Classroom Action Research for 2 cycles, in general it can be said that by using used cardboard props (KB) students' long jump abilities were quantitatively increased. In addition, the interest, attention, participation and presentation of students also increased.

Their above average abilities make them have special needs and characteristics. It is necessary to handle counseling to provide solutions of avoiding obstacles on the students themselves or against their friends. With the help of counseling the students are given assistance through the program and suitable techniques in order to develop optimally in accordance with their potentials.

Abstract

To improve the students’ learning achievement, Mathematics teachers are demanded to help their students through the use of direct instruction in the teaching process. By implementating direct instruction, the teachers transform lessons directly to the students to solve their learning achievement problem of low yields due to the students’ learning capability in implementing various learning models. Many teachers give assignments to the students without being carefully checked. Feeling saturated in their learning activities, less attention and less accountability, the assignments instructed were not done by them as scientifically expected. Based on the identification of the problem, the researchers intended to resolve the students’ problem on their learning achievement by applying active learning methods; specifically, direct instruction.

Abstract

The study was conducted based on several empirical evidences: (1) low students’ participation, this wass found when the teacher provided an opportunity to ask or answer, (2) none of the students asked or answered; (3) students were less serious in doing the task given; and (4) somestudents did not collect assignments at a given time. The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of learning mathematics, describe the form of RPP on building materials space and describe the implementation of model numbered heads together learning on the material of building room design in SDN 08 Sabung Setangga. The model of numbered heads together learning was one type of the cooperative learnings. Its typical characteristics was to assigna number to each group member and then simply appointed a student representing his group  by mentioning the students’ number, without notifying in advance who represented the group  aiming to all students’ readiness. The conclusion obtained that using the model numbered heads together learning made the students more active on the explanation delivered by theteacher, and provided the same perception of the learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian ini dengan judul “Upaya Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil  Belajar  Siswa  melalui Media Puzzle Pada Materi Penyesuaian Makhluk Hidup dengan Lingkungannya  Mata Pelajaran IPA Kelas V SDN 31 UPT SP. V Kecamatan Jangkang Tahun 2018/2019” Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Data diperoleh dari observasi, dokumen, dan test. Adapun prosedur pengumpulan data adalah melalui observasi, aktivitas siswa dan tes.Sedangkan tehnik analisis data, peneliti menggunakan persentase sesuai dengan kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Hasil penelitian dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa pada pra PTK (31,81%) termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi (54,54%) dalam kategori kurang baik, dan pada siklus II aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi (95,45%) yaitu dalam kategori baik sekali. Hasil belajar siswa pada pra PTK  nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebanyak 67,72 dengan jumlah 12 orang siswa yang tuntas dan 10 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata sudah mengalami peningkatan menjadi 72,00 dengan jumlah 17 orang siswa yang tuntas dan 5 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas dan pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 75,40 dengan jumlah 20 orang siswa yang tuntas dan 2 orang siswa yang tidak tuntas. Sedangkan berdasarkan kuesioner yang di bagikan respon siswa senang sebanyak 21 orang siswa dari 22 orang siswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas VI SDN.31 UPT SP.V Kecamatan Jangkang menjadi lebih aktif dan hasil pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan, siswa termotivasi dan senang dengan pembelajaran tersebut.
