Abstract

At present, paving blocks are widely used as building elements for making building construction, especially for yard pavement, parking lots, and environmental roads. Paving blocks are often used because they have good compressive strength properties, can withstand loads within certain limits, longer plan life, and are easy to install. In addition to these advantages, paving blocks are also better than other pavements in terms of economical maintenance, also in terms of the exterior of a building, and also when viewed in terms of environmental sustainability, as a water absorption system. Sawdust is the material (generally powder) that remains from burning wood. Generally, 6-10% of the mass of wood burned produces ash. From the results of research and discussion in the manufacture of paving blocks with wood dust ash additives planned to increase the compressive strength of paving blocks at the age of 28 days, it was found that the compressive strength of normal paving blocks with 0% wood dust ash was 16.08 MPa, while the compressive strength of paving blocks added with wood dust ash with a composition of 5%, 10%, and 15%, produced a compressive strength of 18.05 MPa; 15.24 MPa; 12.20 MPa;. The effect of sawdust ash on the addition of composition materials in the manufacture of paving blocks can increase the compressive strength of the paving block itself. The compressive strength of paving blocks increases after the addition of sawdust ash from the lowest sawdust ash of 0% to 5% ash only, while paving blocks with 10% and 15% sawdust ash experience a significant decrease in compressive strength value from normal sawdust ash. Keywords: Paving Block, Wood Powder Ash

Abstract

The background to this research is that other important things in implementing construction projects, apart from quality and time, are costs. The construction projects studied were road preservation projects carried out by construction service companies from 2015 to 2022. There were eighteen (18) road preservation projects studied throughout Indonesia, both on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua. During implementation, there was an increase in costs (cost overrun) so that the company's profit target was not met and disrupted the performance of work completion.The purpose of this research is to determine the causes of the increase in implementation costs relative to the direct costs that have been determined so that repeated failures do not occur in implementing road preservation projects.This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The variable used is cost overrun as the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the independent variables are estimated costs, materials, labor, equipment, project finances, project documents, implementation time, natural environment, implementation of work relations and economic feasibility as well as local sub-contractors.The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire distributed to respondents, namely the project team of road preservation project managers, totaling 54 respondents from 2015 to 2022 at state companies in the construction services sector.The results of this research are that the factors causing cost overrun in road preservation projects are material variables, equipment variables and local sub-subcontractor variables. The dominant factors causing cost overruns in road preservation projects are first, the material variable with a regression coefficient of 0.554. Second, the local sub-subcontractor variable with a reference coefficient of 0.376. Lastly, the equipment variable has a regression coefficient of 0.271.

Abstract

This research is to identify and determine human resource factors that influence contractor performance in building construction projects and provide solutions to improve the performance of contractor human resources in Payakumbuh City. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The results of data analysis obtained Determination coefficient value (R-Square) of 0.515 or 51.5%, this shows that all variables competency, motivation, loyalty, compensation, discipline and work environment simultaneously influence the contractor's performance variables, while the remaining 48.5%. Influenced by other variables not tested in the research. From the calculated F value, it is 17,873, while the resulting significant value is 0,000 0,05, it is concluded that all variables competency, motivation, loyalty, compensation, discipline and work environment simultaneously influence the contractor's performance variables. From the results of the t test calculations, it is concluded that competence, motivation and discipline have a partial influence on contractor performance. Based on the largest t value, the most dominant human resource factor is Motivation (X2) because it is found that t count t table (5.415 1.980), and the significance value is 0.000 0.05. Keywords: Human Resources, Performance, Contractors, Projects, Construction

Abstract

Gedung ICU, PICU,dan NICU RSUD Suradadi Kabupaten Tegal merupakan objek penelitian kami dalam mengevaluasi kinerja desain struktur. Maksud Penelitian yakni menentukan kehandalan struktur gedung meliputi : Inelastic Drift, kestabilan gedung terhadap batas pengaruh P-delta, ketidakberaturan struktur, keterpenuhan syarat minimum rasio Mc/Mb, serta penentuan level kinerja struktur. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode analisis numeric static non linier pushover melalui pemodelan struktur dengan program SAP 2000, sedangkan evaluasi kinerja strukturnya mengacu pada FEMA 310 - 1998. diperoleh Batas Stabilitas Struktur θmax (0.200) Batas Pengaruh P-Delta (0.100). Hanya terdapat ketidakberaturan horizontal sudut dalam. Terhadap syarat kekuatan lentur kolom ∑ Mn C ≥ 1,2 ∑ Mn B terpenuhi yakni 1068,94 KNm 926,781 KNm serta Dmaks arah x-x dan y-y (0,0037) 0,01 (immediate Occupancy).Kata Kunci: displacement, drift limit, P-delta, Immediate Occupancy.

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Tulungagung lambat laun semakin meningkat, yang berdampak pada peningkatan serta berkembangnya pembangunan. Dalam mendirikan sebuah bangunan, hal yang pertama kali harus dilakukan adalah penyelidikan tanah. Penyelidikan tanah penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik tanah dari daerah Bendiljati, Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan mengambil sampel tanah dari daerah Bendiljati Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Jenis tanah diklasifikasikan menggunakan AASHTO dan USCS. Juga dilakukan pengujian liquid limit, plastic limit, pemadatan, dan kuat geser tanah. Hasil penelitian didapatkan klasifikasi tanah menurut USCS, tanah termasuk jenis SP-SM dengan gradasi buruk, dan pada klasifikasi AASHTO, tanah termasuk A-2-4 yang mempunyai rating Excellent to Good. Dari uji batas Atterberg didapatkan nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 0,564% sehingga tanah termasuk kategori slightly plastic. Pada uji pemadatan didapatkan nilai berat volume kering maksimum sebesar 1,50 gr/cm pada kadar air optimum 26,04% yang dapat digunakan untuk rekomendasi pemadatan jenis tanah SP-SM. Dan di uji kuat geser diperoleh nilai sudut geser sebesar 24,837° dengan nilai kohesi sebesar 0,459 kPa, dari nilai tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam perencanaan pondasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk proyek konstruksi di sekitar area kabupaten Tulungagung.

Abstract

This project outlines the design and construction of an open forging machine equipped with a 1.5 HP electric motor and a 5 kg hammer for use in the Material Technology Laboratory. The primary objective was to create a versatile and controlled environment for forging and shaping materials. The project began with the conceptualization and design phase, where the layout and components of the machine were planned. Materials were carefully selected for durability and performance. Construction was meticulously carried out with an emphasis on safety.The machine underwent rigorous testing to ensure it met the laboratory's specific requirements, and adjustments were made for optimal performance. Fine-tuning was performed to calibrate the machine, addressing temperature control, speed, and pressure settings. The completed open forging machine promises to enhance research capabilities in material technology, facilitating experiments in material science and research. This project represents a significant step in advancing the laboratory's capabilities and marks the beginning of a new phase in material technology research and experimentation.Keywords: Forging Machine, Electric Motor, Hammer, Material,Laboratory Equipment

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbaikan proses produksi kopi pada Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) pada IKM Kopi Nusantara menggunakan metode Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Work Improvement In Small Enterprise (WISE) dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Sumber data berupa data primer. Data primer diperoleh dari kuesioner yaitu mengumpulkan data dari IKM Kopi Nusantara dengan menggunakan daftar pernyataan yang telah dipersiapkan. Berdasarkan penilaian daftar periksa Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) pada IKM Kopi Nusantara terdapat 9 kriteria masuk dalam kategori prioritas dan 5 kriteria masuk dalam kategori tidak prioritas. Kriteria yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan yaitu bangunan dan fasilitas, peralatan produksi, suplai air atau sarana penyediaan ari, fasilitas dan kegiatan higiene dan sanitasi, kesehatan dan higiene karyawan, pengendalian proses, pelabelan pangan, pengawasan oleh penanggung jawab dan pelatihan karyawan. Sedangkan kriteria yang tidak prioritas yaitu lokasi dan lingkungan produksi, pemeliharaan, program higiene dan sanitasi, penyimpanan, penarikan produk, pencatatan dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan metode Work Improvement in Small Enterprise (WISE) dari 8 kriteria terdapat 6 kriteria masuk dalam kategori prioritas dan 2 kriteria masuk dalam kategori tidak prioritas. Kriteria yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan yaitu penyimpanan dan penanganan material, desian tempat kerja, keamanan mesin produktif, lingkungan fisik, fasilitas kesejahteraan dan organisasi pekerjaan sedangkan kriteria yang tidak prioritas yaitu proteksi bahaya listrik dan penanggulangan bahaya kebakaran. Berdasarkan metode Analythical Hierarchy Process (AHP) hasil penilaian proses produksi IKM Kopi Nusantara, maka prioritas perbaikan dilakukan pada kriteria yang memiliki nilai presentase tertinggi yaitu pengendalian proses produksi. Kriteria pengendalian proses produksi memiliki lima sub kriteria untuk perbaikannya yaitu catatan kerusakan bahan baku, bagan alir produksi, kemasan produk, potensi bahaya listrik dan bahaya kebakaran.Kata kunci: GMP, WISE, AHP, IKM

Abstract

Geographic information systems or GIS are information systems related to geographical features and are used to manipulate and display information in a geographical area. GIS can also be used for mapping, particularly in raw water areas. At the UPTD PSDA Ciwulan-Cilaki River Area, there are problems in managing data on applications for the submission of raw water requests carried out by the community. The applicant was required to send a letter requesting the submission of raw water to the agency, which resulted in the piling up of letters in the archives. Another problem found is that the survey process feels very long and takes days. This aimed of this researched was to design a geographic information system to solve the problem. In this research, the researchers designed a geographic information system mapping the raw water area of Tasikmalaya City based on Android using the Prototype method. The stages in the Prototype method are Communication, Planning, Representation, and Construction. The benefits and results of this information system design were that it made it easier for applicants to apply for raw water along with mapping the raw water area and for application management agencies to be more structured. In addition, this android-based GIS could be accessed by applicants and agencies anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang terhubung ke jaringan listrik PLN di Pekanbaru, sesuai dengan regulasi Pemerintah Nomor 26 Tahun 2021, mendorong penggunaan energi surya ramah lingkungan untuk keperluan rumah tangga. Beberapa konsumen rumah tangga di kota tersebut telah mengadopsi PLTS yang terhubung secara On Grid dengan Jaringan Listrik PLN menggunakan KWH Exim. Analisis perlu dilakukan terhadap penggunaan energi yang diimpor dan diekspor dari KWH Exim, dengan mempertimbangkan biaya investasi awal sebesar Rp 31.000.000,-. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa hanya 65% dari energi yang diekspor dari KWH Exim ke jaringan PLN, yaitu sebesar 813,54 kWh per tahun. Pengembalian modal dari investasi awal diestimasi akan terjadi dalam waktu 19 tahun, berdasarkan produksi energi dari panel surya

Abstract

Roads are the most important infrastructure in the land transportation system in Indonesia. Guaranteeing a good pavement structure will ensure the continuity of a good transportation system as well. In Indonesia, there is a lot of waste from factories that has not been utilized optimally. The large amount of waste will cause problems in its disposal because apart from the large costs that must be incurred in building disposal facilities, this waste can also pollute the environment. Coal ash becomes waste, so using it as a filler in the AC-WC mixture is one solution to reduce the amount of coal waste itself. In this research, coal waste in the form of bottom ash will be used which will be used as a filler for the stability and density of asphalt concrete (AC-WC). The objectives of this research are as follows: To determine the effect of the bottom ash mixture as a filler on the characteristics of the resulting asphalt concrete marshall. And knowing how much optimization the use of Coal Waste has on the stability of the AC-WC Asphalt Concrete mixture. Based on the results and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the effect of bottom ash coal ash substitution on the stability and density values of AC-WC asphalt concrete can be concluded as follows:Based on the results of testing the marshal parameters in terms of the substitution of bottom ash coal ash, it can be concluded that the influence of the stability value on the optimum bottom ash coal ash is at a percentage of 4% in zone 0 with a value of 1,499kg and meets the 2018 Bina Marga specifications Revision 2. Then , the influence of the optimum density value (Bulk Density Standard) is located in zone 2 at a percentage of 4% with a value of 2,352kg. and Based on the results of Marshall parameter testing in terms of variations in bottom ash coal ash substitution, it can be concluded that the use of a mixture of bottom ash coal ash content for asphalt stability and density (AC-WC) lies in a mixture of 4%.
