Abstract

From the results of research and testing of mortar with a variety of bagasse ash mixtures as a substitute for fine aggregate and limestone, it can be concluded that the compressive strength of normal mortar without bagasse ash waste but using limestone water is 1.90 kg/cm2, the compressive strength of mortar with Bagasse ash waste is 6% of the weight of cement and limestone is 2.29 kg/cm2 which is the optimum mixture content in this mixture. The compressive strength of mortar with sugarcane bagasse ash waste is 9% of the weight of cement and limestone has a compressive strength of 2.08 kg /cm2, the compressive strength of mortar with bagasse ash waste is 12% of the cement weight, the compressive strength is 2.12 kg/cm2, mortar mixed with bagasse ash and limestone will increase compared to normal mortar. Keywords: Aggregate, Cement, Compressive strength, Limestone, Compressive strength, Mortar, Sugarcane bagasse ash

Abstract

The palm oil industry in Indonesia has great potential in increasing the country's economic income. This is proven if in 2022 Indonesian palm oil will reach USD 40 billion or IDR 600 trillion. PT Sawit Inti Prima Perkasa (PT. SIPP) is a company engaged in processing FFB (fresh fruit bunches) into CPO (Crude Palm Oil) and PKO (Palm Kernel Oil). However, in its implementation there are still shortcomings in carrying out quality control maintenance. So it requires good utilization of CPO and PKO processing optimization. This research uses mix method research with the aim of finding out how to optimize CPO and PKO processing at PT Sawit Inti Prima Perkasa. The research result show that optimizing the management of CPO and PKO is related to good and comprehensive maintenance. Solving maintenance problems in the oil palm plantation industry will focus on repairing problems in the oil palm plantation industry will focus on repairing problems related to equipment., machinery or infrastructure used in iol palm plantation operations. Successfull productionrequires very thorugh quality control, problem solving and problem which is very useful as  a guide in dealing with and finding  solutions to problems that can occur in palm iol mills.so that the procces can run smoothly so that thr company does not experience significan losses and can avoid work accident.Keywords: Crude Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, maintenance troubleshooting

Abstract

This research aims to identify communication factors that influence the success of construction projects in Tebo Regency, as well as determine the dominant factors that influence the success of these projects. The research method used was a field survey with data collection through questionnaires to parties involved in construction projects in Tebo Regency. The data obtained was analyzed using regression analysis to assess the influence of communication factors on project success. The research results show that the Communication Skills and Competency (KKK) factors have a positive and significant influence on project success, while the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Communication Management Plan (RMK), and Teamwork (KJT) factors have a greater influence. low and insignificant.  The implication of this research is that parties involved in construction projects in Tebo Regency need to pay attention to and improve communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as effective use of information and communication technology. This can improve project implementation and achieve better results.

Abstract

Karena pada Kawasan Tangkapan Air Kurangnya kapasitas saluran dikarenakan kondisi eksisting saluran yang terganggu oleh adanya pembangunan yang tidak memperhatikan jalannya air sehingga aliran air mengalami pengurangan dimensi eksisting. Lokasi penelitian ini tepatnya di Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Kota Palembang yang bertujuan menganalisis ketinggian Muka Air Banjir dan mencari Solusi untuk menurunkan tinggi Muka Air Banjir di lokasi penelitian. Dalam menganalisis, digunakan 3 metode yaitu Metode Gumbel, Metode Normal, dan Metode Log Pearson 3. Kemudian hasil curah hujan rencana di cari besar debit rencana menggunan metode Rasional Modifikasi lalu hasil perhitungan debit rencana di modelkan dalam aplikasi HEC-RAS 6.1 untuk mendapatkan tinggi muka air. Kemudian didapatkan Debitnya 1,744 m3/d sehingga pada kondisi eksisting ketinggian Muka Air Banjir pada hulu aliran adalah 56 cm dari top level saluran. Solusi penurunan Muka Air Banjir untuk lebar eksisting mulai dari segmen 631 sampai segmen 381 yang diadakan pelebaran sampai 1,9 m sedangkan pendalaman dilakukan pada setiap segmen sampai kedalaman 1,3 m. Sehingga pada kalkulasi HEC-RAS 6.1 ketinggian Muka Air Banjir pada kondisi desain adalah 0 cm atau muka air tidak melewati top level saluran.

Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing significant growth in traffic loads, but this is often not balanced by the development of adequate road infrastructure. This phenomenon occurs because the growth of traffic loads is faster than the development of road infrastructure. Excessive traffic loads can cause road damage. When a road has to carry a traffic load that exceeds its planned capacity, damage will occur gradually and impact the quality of the road infrastructure. Asphalt is a dark brown or not thick hydrocarbon compound formed from the elements asphaltenes, resins, and oils. Asphalt in the pavement layer functions as a binding material between the aggregates to form a compact mixture, thus providing the strength of each aggregate. There are various asphalt mixtures, such as hot asphalt mixtures using cement filler and stone ash on the surface layer of the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC). Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research to determine the Marshall characteristics in the evaluation of hot asphalt mixtures using cement filler and stone ash on the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) surface layer, which is adjusted to the 2018 Bina Marga Revision 2 specifications. It was carried out on the district border roads as an object of research. Ogan Ilir – Lubuk Batang and in the PT Laboratory. Komba Mahaka Utama Martapura Ogan Komering Ulu Timur. Marshall test results on the AC-WC mixture using 2 different types of filler, namely cement filler and stone ash filler, and the test results on the research object showed differences in the resulting Marshall characteristics. Abstract

Fingerprint identification technology is a security technology that has a high level of security. Fingerprints are one of everyone's personal data, where this data will not be the same from one another. By using fingerprints as a key to a security system, only certain people can access a system, so automatically other people who are not registered cannot access it. In this final project, an automatic sliding door lock has been designed that uses fingerprint detection as the security of this door. Fingerprint scanning will be done by the fingerprint module which will then be matched with templates that have been stored in the database. If there is a match, the fingerprint module will send data to the microcontroller and can open and close the door automatically. This final project has resulted in automatic sliding door security that can provide a high level of security by using fingerprints as security at certain times so that unregistered people cannot access them. With the percentage of workability from ten experiments, that is, when the condition of the finger is dry, the tool can work 100%, when the condition is humid, the tool can work 100%, and the condition of the finger there are small scratches, the tool can still work 70%, While in wet conditions the tool is difficult to detect fingerprints with the percentage of the tool can work as much as 30%.Keywords: automatic door lock, fingerprint, fingerprint module, security, microcontroller

Abstract

DC motors (Direct Current) have become a key component in various industrial applications and electronic devices. With technological advancements, monitoring and maintenance of DC motors have become increasingly important to ensure efficient operation and prevent unexpected failures. One way to enhance DC motor monitoring is by integrating RPM and temperature sensors, which can provide crucial information regarding the motor's operational conditions. This research aims to develop a tool for detecting the condition of DC motors by comparing temperature and motor speed variables. The components used in assembling this device include an IR Obstacle Sensor, Thermocouple Sensor, ESP32 Microcontroller, I2C LCD, and Servo. The working principle of this research tool involves connecting it to a 220V power source, then switching the ON/OFF switch. Once the device receives power, the sensors and other components will be ready, indicating that they are prepared to read the pre-programmed instructions. For testing the device, first, the DC motor is activated by setting the PWM value between 0-255. Then, the thermocouple sensor and RPM sensor will read the motor's condition when the DC motor is on, which will be displayed on the LCD. If the DC motor temperature exceeds 50°C, the LED will turn ON, indicating that the motor's temperature is above 50°C and providing information on the motor's speed.Keywords: ESP32, K-Type Thermocouple, RPM, DC Motor, IoT

Abstract

Conventional hand dryers often rely on manual buttons or simple infrared sensors, which can pose risks of germ transmission and limitations in responsiveness and detection accuracy. This paper proposes an innovative solution by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology to develop an automated hand dryer connected online using an ESP32 microcontroller. IoT technology enables remote control and real-time monitoring, enhancing cleanliness and health by reducing direct contact with the device's surface. The study includes testing proximity sensors, thermocouples, and moisture sensors to ensure optimal performance. Proximity sensors demonstrate good responsiveness within 0-5 cm, thermocouples effectively manage temperature, and moisture sensors provide appropriate audio feedback based on hand moisture conditions. The findings indicate that the IoT-integrated automated hand dryer not only improves usage efficiency but also significantly contributes to public hygiene and health, offering potential innovation in sanitation technology.Keywords: Automated Hand Dryer, Internet of Things (IoT), ESP32 Microcontroller, Proximity Sensor, Thermocouple Sensor, Moisture Sensor

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of various sensors and security systems based on environmental changes and access conditions. Power supply measurements show stability with an average voltage of 24.094 V and an error rate of 0.43%, which is within the 5% tolerance limit. The LDR sensor proved effective in detecting light changes with consistent resistance values in bright, dim, and dark conditions. The door sensor demonstrated reliability in responding to door condition changes with an average response time of 50 milliseconds. The RFID system efficiently processes registered and unregistered cards quickly, ensuring only authorized access. Overall, the security system is assessed to respond swiftly to potential threats, providing adequate protection.Keywords: Power supply, LDR sensor, Door sensor, RFID, Security system, Quick response

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the operational performance of the KRL Commuter Line heading for Yogyakarta-Solo, with a focus on transportation capacity, departure frequency, and schedule management. The approach used in this study is quantitative descriptive, where data is collected through direct observation, and collection of supporting documents In addition, operational data from PT KAI is also analyzed to obtain a comprehensive picture of the operational performance of the KRL. The main variables studied include transportation capacity, Load Factor, departure frequency, and schedule management. The results of the study show that during peak hours, the Load Factor of KRL often exceeds 100%, which indicates a high passenger density. The carrying capacity of KRL needs to be increased, both by increasing the number of cars and increasing the frequency of departures, to reduce congestion and increase comfort. Additionally, better schedule management and real-time monitoring of passenger density can help optimize operations. This study provides recommendations for PT KAI in terms of improving the capacity of the carriages, increasing the frequency of departures, and improving comfort facilities on the train to increase passenger satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in efforts to improve the quality of KRL Commuter Line services, especially on the Yogyakarta-Solo route.
