Abstract

Anxiety experienced by the child can be caused by bad life experiences, like the Covid-19 pandemic. This outbreak leads to the children's mental disorders seen from their changing behavior. This study examines the implementation of Expressive Writing Therapy through diary writing to cope with the child's anxiety of the victims of covid-19. The research method used was a literature study to discuss Expressive Writing Therapy through writing a diary. The data collection technique for this study was documentation through inanimate data sources, like the book of child anxiety, journal of expressive writing, and google scholar. The research showed that Expressive Writing Therapy through diary writing could decrease the level of child's anxiety since their parents passed away due to covid-19. Writing a diary can allow the child to channel their emotions into being more positive and sharpen their brain to be more active. Expressive writing is the way for the child to write freely, so there is no need to be afraid of it. Everything that is felt by the child, like the feeling of mad, happiness, and emotion due to the unpleasant incident, can be distributed into expressive writing. Thus, the child's anxiety can be tackled. Implementation of writing therapy with Islamic psychology becomes self-therapy to improve mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a marketing management theory concept for competitive private Islamic educational institutions. At the same time, the locus of this research is the Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) Khairunnas Bengkulu, Sumatra. Education is a service product produced by non-profit educational institutions so that the educational process results are visible. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study type—data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out since the researcher arrived at the research locus; after the data was collected, analysis was carried out through data compression, data presentation, and conclusion. The processes of credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability are used to best check the validity of the data. Research findings related to the concept of institutionally competitive marketing management are the concept of "shura expert" or guidance from a senior who is experienced in the field of education, the concept of mastering English and Arabic for students so that they can be accepted at high schools and favourite campuses even abroad, and the concept of increasing competency through extracurricular activities, especially in science and technology.

Abstract

Schools must be managed healthily and effectively for noble purposes, so people must lead schools with reliable leadership capacity and good integrity. Several studies have stated that the effectiveness of Islamic school management rests on its human resources, which are capable and must have the competence and integrity of a pious personality. From this conception, it is necessary to know how essential school leaders are. This study aims to determine the contribution of the Islamic worldview to school leadership and student learning outcomes. The research design used a survey and was ex post facto conducted on a sample of 154 from 38 districts/cities of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Principals using an area random sampling technique. From these data, it can be concluded that the Islamic worldview presented to the principal affects his leadership practice in Islamic elementary schools. At the same time, the student learning outcomes are indirect through the rational path – organizational and emotional path. It was found that the Islamic worldview factor, which theoretically covers human behaviour, has been shown to strongly contribute to the principal's leadership behaviour and teacher behaviour.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic value of land conversion into educational investment land, as well as a driver of increasing the income of the surrounding community because the main factor is the Higher Education Institution of the State Islamic University (UIN) Tulungagung which also includes an educational investment program for the long-term state. Because the growth of education also affects economic growth and vice versa. This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach; the type of case study uses logistic regression analysis. The source of research data is the land owner's reason for selling his land to be used as an educational institution. The results of the study [1] four factors affect the opportunity for land conversion, namely (a) the educational background of the land owner will be aware of, and the importance of Islamic education, (b) the area of land owned, (c) financial income and (d) the location that refers to on the distance to UIN Tulungagung; [2] Investment in land transfer for education because Indonesia's demographics are dominated by young people whose thinking paradigm is far ahead for the future of Islamic education for the nation's children, the focus of the Indonesian government is to invest in human resources in preparing superior Islamic Human Resources through education; [3] The use of logistic regression analysis limits generalizability, as the sample design cannot be considered to characterize all landowners in turning it into an educational investment.

Abstract

The totality of academic life is the most crucial and effective means for developing interpersonal intelligence, sensitivity, and ability to deal with problems and communicate well in social life. This research was conducted at Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School to explain the formulation of the development of interpersonal intelligence of students (commonly called santri in Indonesian) at Islamic boarding schools. The formulation of students' interpersonal intelligence development is presented as follows: a) the dimensions of interpersonal intelligence developed and b) developing students' interpersonal intelligence. This qualitative research collects data using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and concluding and checking the validity of the data using triangulation; credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings of this study reinforce behavioristic theory, namely a learning theory that emphasizes changes in behaviour as a result of the interaction between stimulus and response. Changes in behaviour are a reflex of a push and response. In the development of behavioristic theory, learning and education are also the results of reactions that arise from interactions between the environment and the individual's cognitive schemes, and ultimately social learning theory (reciprocal determinism) as part of a behavioristic theory. This is a practical theory in formulating the development of interpersonal intelligence for students.
