Abstract

Demographic bonuses have become the concern of various parties, both government and non-government. Managing the demographic bonus is predicted to contribute to Indonesia's economic conditions positively. In this case, vocational-based Madrasah Aliyah (MA) is required to create competent and competitive working-age human resources significantly. For this reason, this study seeks to answer the contribution of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah (MAK) in welcoming the demographic bonus. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, while the informants were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, and focus group discussions. Checking the validity of the data was then carried out by expanding the presence of researchers in the field, deepening observations, triangulation, peer discussions, matching members, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The study results show that in encouraging the formation of competent working-age human resources, there still needs to be an imbalance in the ideal teacher-student ratio in one region to another, followed by a balance that exceeds government standards. In addition, problems with the implementation of vocational-based Madrasah Aliyah still leave big jobs, including the absence of competency certification for graduates of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah, inadequate madrasah infrastructure, lack of cooperation, and low competency of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah teachers.

Contradictory professional and managerial principles such as quality monitoring and evaluation are integrated to shape contemporary professional action. This study aims to determine the directions of teacher professionalism and organizational management as a quality control model in Islamic boarding schools/dayah in Southeast Aceh district. This type of qualitative research with descriptive survey techniques. Primary data sources were obtained from informants and survey results, while preliminary data was obtained from various expert studies in the form of journals, books and other encyclopedias as support. Data analysis using an interactive model. The research data was then transcribed, and a data reduction process was carried out, which consisted of coding, choosing keywords, and categorization. The research results provide a model of professionalism as an aspect of change and 'organizing professionalism' as a new model. The Islamic boarding school teacher professionalism model leads to three parts: The formation of (1) Satisfaction Value of Quality Commitment; (2) Moral Commitment Trust Value, and (3) Performance Value for Continuous Change. The social implications expected through this research are a model of building organizational values in shaping teacher professionalism as an evaluative means of sustainable quality.

Abstract

The Javanese tradition of avoiding marriage in the month of Suro is highly upheld, especially by the community. It is widely believed that marriage in the month of Suro will bring danger to the bride and groom, whereas in the Islamic concept, there is no prohibition against marriage in the month of Suro (Muharram). Departing from these reasons, the purpose of this study is to describe two different views of Islamic teachings and Javanese cultural traditions that have continued to contradict each other from ancient times to the present. This research is set in Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The research method used is qualitative with a sociological empirical juridical approach. The primary data used are facts about human behaviour and written documents from traditional leaders, religious leaders and related people. Using interviews and documentation for data collection, then analyzed using sociological empirical juridical. The results of the study show that the philosophical meaning of the prohibition of marriage in the month of Suro that occurs in Javanese society, especially in Ponorogo Regency, can be divided into two sides based on Paul Ricoeur's theory, namely the meaning of the prohibition from the side of the text maker and the side of the recipient/reader of the text. From the perspective of these two sides, then the philosophical meaning contained in the tradition of prohibiting marriage in the month of Suro can be concluded as a syncretism meaning between Javanese religions and cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the conditions of the Islamic work environment and how significant the influence of the Islamic work environment is on the performance of employees at PT Bina Informatika Solusi Cirebon. This research is a type of descriptive research with hypothesis testing. This study's population was all PT Bina Informatika Solusi Cirebon employees, totalling 50. The entire population is taken as a sample, so it is called population research and does not use sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that has been tested beforehand and tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient test, hypothesis testing, and simple regression testing. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between the work environment system (X) on employee performance (Y) with a regression equation of Y = a + bx or Y = 3.010 + 0.946 x and with a coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.6034 or 60.34%. In comparison, the remaining 39.66% is influenced by other variables not observed in this study and uses the t-test, which yields if t (table) at α 0.05 or 5%, it is obtained at 2.009, then t (count ) is higher than t (table), namely 8.59> 2.009. This means that there is a significant influence of the Islamic work environment variable (X) on employee performance (Y) at PT Bina Informatika Solusi Cirebon.

Abstract

Indonesia is a pluralistic country because of its diversity of tribes, cultures, languages and customs, so it has various forms of Educational Institutions. Islamic boarding schools are the 'Father' of education in Indonesia and an indigenous institution born from Nusantara's local wisdom in a somewhat existential period. The characteristic of pesantren lies in its leadership in the hands of a Kiai. One of the pesantren that still exists today is Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG). So, this study aims to provide a discourse about the leadership of 'Trimurti' as the central figure in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The study is included in the library research. To facilitate data analysis, researchers used descriptive and content analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis, the uniqueness of kiai's leadership lies in the charismatic character that creates a 'patron-client' pattern in the internal and external spheres. Trimurti of PMDG as a boarding school leader whose task is to educate the santri, applied two main methods: central figure (uswahhasanah) and formatting milieu or conducive environment. The whole life of the pesantren, both on a micro and macro scale, has been designed to transfer knowledge and value naturally in every daily activity.

Abstract

The flow of information on the internet, including religious narratives, is currently impossible to avoid. This article discusses understanding Islam with intellectual humility for virtual society to live up to religious teachings with tolerance, moderation, and mutual respect. This study gathered data from documentation of Gus Baha's recitation, which is widely distributed on the YouTube social media platform. This study used a qualitative-descriptive research method and a netnographic analysis model. This method uses a particular analytical technique offered, AMS (Siber Media Analysis), which goes through 4 levels: Media room level, media document level, media object level, and experience level. This study was successful in determining that Gus Baha's intellectual humility is built on two things: first, a thorough understanding of Islamic teachings (khatam), and second, the belief that humans cannot act like God by enforcing laws against humans in the context of reality, which can change at any time. Furthermore, online media-based Islamic education can be accessed in real-time, stipulating that those presenting Islamic teachings in online media be mature figures, both intellectually and emotionally, as well as socially sensitive in a multicultural society.

Abstract

This research discusses appropriate learning methods for learning Arabic listening and speaking skills. The study's importance is based on learners' weak listening and Arabic speaking skills in Indonesia. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach, and data was collected from books, journals and experts' thoughts related to the research theme. The data was obtained with the help of publish or perish, which was then mapped with Vosviewer. After that, the data were analyzed using comparative techniques. Based on the literature, listening skills are the first means for humans to interact with each other. In istima' activities, a person will recognize vocabulary (mufradat), sentence components, and sentence structure. Learning by listening can be performed by listening to conversations, short stories, verbal questions, and chain messages. Speaking skills are related to the ability to articulate words to convey information through ideas, responses, or feelings. Speaking skills can be learned from the beginner and intermediate levels to the highest levels. All of these levels have the same method except for material difficulties. The novelty of this research is the position of the researcher's thoughts among various opinions of academics, namely the elaboration of ideas that are by the context of learning Arabic listening and speaking skills for students in Indonesia. The researcher rejects some opinions and strengthens other views, so the position of the results of this research is in the form of elaboration.
