The purpose of this study is to describe how and what are the doctrines of Islamic values through the curriculum in educational institutions. The existence of Islamic education is to preserve the proper value system of piety. Because it is human nature that specific value systems also demand a developed education system, the strategies adopted, the techniques used, the subject matter as content, and the policies from the lowest level of an institution to the main level with a comprehensive and integrated curriculum system, all of which should not be contrary to the Islamic value system as a fitrah. This research uses qualitative research by taking data at Madrasah Hurrasul Aqidah Tarakan City as the object of research, data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation; analytical tools used are Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis models, checking the validity of data using triangulation. This study resulted in five doctrinal values through the curriculum, namely: strengthening the Islamic aqidah uluhiyah-rububiyah-asma wa shifat in students' daily lives, emphasizing habituation of sunnah worship integrated with fiqh subjects, habituation of civilized characters with examples and directions, tahfidh al-qur'an it is mandatory for all students to have the vision of creating a Qur'anic generation, and tadabbur alam (knowing God's creation) as natural learning media. This study is oriented by integrating Islamic values in the core and extra curriculum as the doctrine of giving birth to an Islamic generation (qur'ani); this emphasizes the critical role of vision and mission in a robust educational institution that characterizes the output of its graduates because the cases generally follow the general policy of the government only.

Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The research results are (1) Implementation of orphanage parenting in building the religious character of orphans and dhuafa by using democratic parenting. (2) Supporting factors are the background of foster children who are orphans and poor, in dire need of parental love, and loving foster parents (3) Inhibiting factors are inadequate learning facilities. These findings show that orphanages have played an active role in building the religious character of orphans and the poor. Therefore it is suggested that democratic parenting is studied more broadly and in-depth so that it can then be applied to other orphanages.

This narrative study explores the cognitive conflicts that pre-service teachers experience during peer-assessment activities in an artificial intelligence (AI) facilitated academic writing course. This study applies a narrative inquiry research design to Indonesian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing classes. Three pre-service teachers pursuing an undergraduate degree in English language education at an Indonesian public university were recruited. The data were obtained from participants' stories, follow-up semi-structured interviews, and photos as an artifact to complete the data. The data was then analysed thematically. The participants’ cognitive conflict experiences were gathered during process writing and peer assessment. The findings show that the cognitive conflicts experienced by the participants were mostly from old myths and false beliefs. It brings advantages to pre-service teachers. The cognitive conflicts support the critical thinking of pre-service teachers. They discussed the material in detail, explored the different ideas, and helped them to confirm the incorrect knowledge and misunderstanding among them. This finding also implies the need for pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and teacher educators to critically consider the cognitive conflicts in an L2 writing classroom, particularly in madrasah tsanawiyah (junior high schools), madrasah aliyah (senior high schools) and higher education institutions contexts.

Globalization challenges Muslims and Christians in developing religious education in Indonesia. The problem of globalization has attacked the spiritual values of education. The output of religious teachings has recently shifted from the primary goal, namely the goal of education, because the education system is religiously oriented. Intolerance, corruption, human rights violations and all forms of moral decay that the Indonesian nation faces are manifestations of the minimal results of the cultivation of religious education in Indonesia. To fill this gap, this study tries to analyze and solve the problem of religious education from both an Islamic and a Christian perspective. The research used in this article is a discourse analysis method by comparing Islamic religious education and Christian religious education in Indonesia. Cooperation between the government and religious education is needed to develop religious education in Indonesia's global era. It requires integration between religious values and the positive values of globalization. Inter-religious and inter-religious dialogue must be included as part of religious education. Religious and educational institutions must be separated from commercialization, and cooperation between Christian and Islamic institutions. The Ministry of religious affairs as the higher authority in religious education, have to build mutual cooperation between the Islamic institution of religious education and the Christian Institution of religious education to support dialogue and sharing in term of harmonization.

The merdeka curriculum establishes project-based learning as a learning design for developing soft skills and student character to support the development of the Pancasila Student Profile character. As a new paradigm, students must be responsive in following the existing learning schemes in the merdekacurriculum structure. Therefore, a good Adversity Quotient is needed for students as a benchmark for psychological adaptability in facing learning obstacles and fulfilling learning outcomes according to the objectives of the merdeka curriculum. Therefore, this research focuses on the efforts of SMK Negeri 4 Malang to develop students' Adversity Quotient through project-based PAI learning. Through a qualitative approach and type of case study research, this research assembles a critical analysis that can unravel the root of the problem as well as efforts to develop an Adversity Quotient for students at SMKN 4 Malang so that it has implications for achieving learning objectives according to the mandate of the merdekacurriculum. Data was collected through interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was performed using the interactive model Miles, Huberman and Saldana. This study concludes that students' Adversity Quotient can develop through four stages called DEAL (Listen, Explore, Analyze, Do). The four stages are empirically able to frame the axiological framework for developing Adversity Quotient in students during the project-based learning (PjBL) process at SMKN 4 Malang.
