Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, promotion, and brand image on purchasing decisions of Specs brand soccer shoes in Pangkal Pinang City. Respondents in this study were consumers of Specs brand soccer shoes, totaling 40 people. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling. data were collected by distributing questionnaires. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that product quality, promotion, and brand image simultaneously affect purchasing decisions. Specifications of branded soccer shoes in Pangkalpinang City. Product quality, promotion, and brand image partially have a positive effect on purchasing decisions for Specs brand soccer shoes in Pangkalpinang City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the function of leadership in the process of employee job placement by taking the locus of study on CV. Angel certainly needs various instruments, ranging from facilities and infrastructure to human resources, as well as the character of a leader. The character of a leader and the function of a leader itself is one of the main factors in the management of an organization, both government and private. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the researcher collects data obtained from the sources studied through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the research title. The results showed that employees at CV. Angel can describe the policies given by the leadership in the form of a positive response to the tasks and responsibilities assigned to them.

Abstract

The global Covid-19 pandemic certainly has an impact on various sectors, especially in the economic sector. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a considerable impact on various sectors in Indonesia, especially in the MSME sector. The corona outbreak that has become increasingly massive lately has finally disrupted the decline in sales and marketing processes. For this reason, a survival and promotion strategy is needed for MSMEs to be able to continue to maintain their business and keep abreast of business developments during this COVID-19 pandemic. The object of this research is the UMKM Batik Melayu Pinang Sirih Pangkalpinang City. The research methodology in this study is qualitative research with participatory observation data collection techniques with exploratory steps, namely doing one of the recommended qualitative data collection techniques to obtain descriptive data. The results of this study are so that MSMEs can survive in the face of the covid-19 pandemic, they can open new product lines and innovate to make new products following developments during the covid-19 pandemic or in the future as was done by Batik Malayu Pinang Sirih, namely producing cloth masks, bag, and headmaster. In addition, they can survive in carrying out promotional strategies using digital marketing and customer relationship marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of location, promotion, and brand image on the decision to visit. The population in this study are visitors to Pasir Padi Beach, this study uses quantitative research, the data collection method that will be used in this study is by using a questionnaire that is filled out directly by respondents who visit the Pasir Padi Beach tourist attraction in Pangkalpinang. The testing technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis to find out that the variables of location, promotion, and brand image have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the F test show that the independent variables jointly have a positive effect on the dependent variable being accepted. The coefficient of determination (R Square) shows that location, promotion, and brand image can influence the decision of domestic tourists to visit by 51.6%, while the remaining 48.4% is explained by other variables outside the research model.

Abstract

Increasing global competition shows that every organization is required to improve the quality of work of members of the organization including their job satisfaction. However, so far, little research has been done on employee Islamic job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze employee Islamic job satisfaction and the factors that influence it, namely leadership, work environment, and Islamic work ethic. The method used in this research is quantitative. The research was conducted by involving 75 respondents. The results of the analysis show that transformational leadership, work environment, and Islamic work ethic have a significant effect on Islamic job satisfaction, while transactional leadership has no significant effect on Islamic job satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract This research is based on the announcement of the merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia, where the event is considered to have information content that is able to influence the decisions of investors in the capital market. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of market reaction on the announcement of the merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia in companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70. The method used in this research is quantitative research with an event study approach, and dat analyzed uses a Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of these tests indicate that there is no difference in abnormal returns and there are differences in trading volume activity during the observation period before and after the merger. Abstract

Cascading carried out in local governments greatly affects the performance of local governments in the Performance Accountability System for Government Agencies (SAKIP). This study aims to determine the implementation of cascading in the local government of Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province and Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province in realizing a clean, accountable, and high-performing government. Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The results showed that in general cascading has been carried out to improve the quality of governance in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province and Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. However, the application of cascading in achieving the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of Regional Heads still needs to be revised or improved so that all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) can align the KPIs of Regional Heads with KPIs of Regional Apparatus Organizations to achieve the vision and mission of the regional government. Furthermore, the linkage of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) and Local Government Work Plan (RKPD) with the Strategic Plan and Work Plan that has been running according to the rules and cascading carried out in the regional government affects the results of the regional government performance assessment in the Performance Accountability System of Government Agencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to provide future research opportunities on the diversity of top management teams from the literature of leading management journals, especially in the field of finance and corporate governance from 2015-2018. Two literature review articles previously conducted by Kagzi & Guha, 2018 and Roberson et.al., 2017, became the initial basis for conducting this review literature review. The literature review framework contains the background of the literature review, literature review methodology, and future research opportunities.

Abstract

Investment risk occurs due to the difference between the expected rate of return with the actual rate of return, conditions of uncertainty will cause unwanted risk. Investors will feel safe if macroeconomic conditions are good, inflation is under control, exchange rates strengthen and interest rates are low. In investing, investors expect a return, either in the form of dividends or capital gains. The expected return on Indosat shares as the case study is 4.32% for a period of six months from June to November 2021, while the magnitude of the risk for the shares is 7.52%. The second case study is Telkom's stock, where the expected return is 2.87% and the stock risk is 5.39%. In addition to analyzing the respective stocks, stocks are also analyzed in the form of a portfolio with a case study combining the two stocks. From the results of portfolio analysis, it is obtained that the expected return is 3.96% with the allocation of funds of 75% and 25%, the expected return is the highest from the alternative allocation of investment funds, while the portfolio risk is 0.16%. Investment decisions on the basis of risk and return are influenced by the attitude of investors in facing risk. If investors want to get a large return, then the choice falls on the ISAT stock code, if investors want low risk, then the choice falls on the TLKM stock code, and if investors want both stocks, then the investment decision is taken in the form of a portfolio with a return of 3.96% and a risk of 0.16%. Abstract

Service quality is an evaluation of the customer's long-term observation of the delivery of a company's services, while the price is one of the determining factors in brand selection related to consumer buying decisions, while the location of service facilities is one of the crucial factors that influence the success of service because the location is closely related. In relation to the potential market for service providers, a person's feelings of pleasure or disappointment that arise after comparing the performance (outcome) of the product that is thought to be against the expected performance. This study aims to determine the simultaneous effect of service quality, promotion, and brand image on customer satisfaction, the partial effect of service quality, promotion, and brand image on customer satisfaction. The test results show that the variables of service quality, promotion, and brand image have an effect on customer satisfaction.
