Abstract

Perubahan lanskap pendidikan saat ini menuntut adaptasi kurikulum yang mampu menjawab karakteristik unik lintas generasi, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan agama. Tulisan ini membahas Fenomena penurunan keterikatan agama formal pada Generasi Z dan Generasi Alfa dipicu oleh akses informasi digital, skeptisismep terhadap dogma tradisional, serta ketidakcocokan nilai-nilai progresif. Generasi Z cenderung bersifat praktis, rasional, menyukai "agama digital" melalui media sosial, serta membutuhkan model pembelajaran yang interaktif, mobile-first, berbasis gamifikasi, dan berfokus pada kolaborasi teman sebaya. Generasi Alfa dicirikan oleh imersi teknologi, ketergantungan pada algoritma yang sangat dipersonalisasi, dan kesadaran tinggi terhadap isu global; mereka menunjukkan keterbukaan spiritual namun skeptis terhadap struktur agama tradisional. Keberhasilan pendidikan agama bagi kedua generasi ini sangat bergantung pada kemampuan pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi AI, pendekatan pembelajaran mikro, serta materi yang relevan dengan tantangan dunia nyata dan kebutuhan emosional mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep keselamatan dalam Injil Sinoptik (Matius, Markus, dan Lukas) serta menilai relevansinya bagi iman Kristen gereja masa kini. Keselamatan dalam Sinoptik dipahami bukan hanya sebagai pembebasan dari dosa, tetapi sebagai realitas Kerajaan Allah yang hadir secara transformasional dalam kehidupan umat. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menelaah dimensi teologis keselamatan terkait Kerajaan Allah, hubungan iman dan tindakan, pemulihan holistik, serta pengampunan dan rekonsiliasi sosial. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keselamatan dalam Sinoptik bersifat integratif, melibatkan pertobatan, ketaatan, penyembuhan, pemulihan relasional, dan etos hidup Kerajaan. Relevansinya bagi gereja masa kini tampak dalam panggilan untuk memperbarui pengajaran iman, memperkuat pemuridan yang berorientasi tindakan, menghidupi pelayanan sosial, serta menjadi agen rekonsiliasi dalam masyarakat. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa soteriologi Sinoptik merupakan fondasi teologis yang penting untuk membangun iman Kristen yang kontekstual, aktif, dan transformatif di tengah tantangan dunia modern.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pneumatologi misioner dalam Magisterium Gereja Katolik serta implikasinya bagi misi Gereja di tengah konteks dunia yang plural dan era pasca-kebenaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan menganalisis dokumen-dokumen Magisterium Gereja seperti Ad Gentes, Redemptoris Missio, dan Ecclesia in Asia, serta berbagai karya teologi kontemporer mengenai pneumatologi dan teologi misi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Roh Kudus dipahami sebagai pelaku utama misi Gereja yang bekerja tidak hanya dalam kehidupan internal Gereja tetapi juga dalam sejarah, kebudayaan, dan tradisi religius umat manusia. Konsep semina verbi membantu Gereja mengenali kehadiran benih-benih kebenaran dalam agama-agama lain serta mendorong pendekatan misi yang dialogis dan inkulturatif. Dalam konteks Asia yang plural, pneumatologi misioner memberikan dasar teologis bagi pendekatan misi yang kontekstual melalui dialog antaragama dan penghargaan terhadap budaya lokal. Selain itu, di tengah fenomena pasca-kebenaran, pneumatologi misioner menuntun Gereja untuk mengembangkan penegasan rohani agar mampu membedakan karya Roh Kudus dari berbagai bentuk manipulasi religius dalam ruang digital.

Abstract

The Lunar New Year (Imlek) is a cultural tradition deeply rooted in Chinese society, encompassing rich religious, symbolic, and social meanings, particularly concerning life, family, and intergenerational relationships. Within the context of the Catholic Church in Indonesia, Imlek is often perceived ambiguously, situated between a cultural practice and a form of non-Christian religiosity. This article analyzes the Imlek tradition from the perspective of Catholic inculturation theology using contextual theology and cultural theology approaches. This study employs a qualitative method through a literature review of Church documents, theological works, and Indonesian local theological journals. The analysis seeks to explore how cultural traditions such as Imlek can be interpreted within the framework of Catholic theology without compromising doctrinal integrity. The findings indicate that Imlek embodies universal human values consistent with Catholic teachings, including gratitude for life, family reconciliation, social solidarity, and hope for renewal. These values resonate with key Christian principles and pastoral concerns within the Indonesian context. Therefore, Imlek can be understood as a locus of inculturation praxis that enriches Catholic religious experience while avoiding syncretism. This study highlights the importance of an inculturative theological approach in fostering a contextual, dialogical, and culturally rooted Indonesian Catholic Church.

Abstract

: Toxic leadership is a form of destructive leadership that negatively affects individual well-being and organizational sustainability, including within church contexts. Leadership marked by manipulation, authoritarianism, and lack of empathy not only disrupts organizational relationships but also harms the spiritual life of congregations and weakens the church’s witness. Previous studies on toxic leadership in churches have largely focused on managerial and psychological perspectives, while the perspective of Christian Religious Education has received limited attention. This study aims to integrate the perspective of CRE in understanding toxic leadership in the church. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this study analyzes leadership literature, academic journals, and theological sources. The findings indicate that CRE should not be understood as a direct technical solution, but as a framework for character formation and ethical reflection that functions preventively and correctively. This perspective emphasizes servant leadership, humility, justice, and accountability as values opposing toxic leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the needs and expectations of stakeholders in the process of transforming Christian religious schools into high-quality educational institutions. The primary focus is to map the expectations of students, teachers, parents, and the government in facing the challenges of the disruption era. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving stakeholders at SMPTK Tarus and SMAK Kupang. Research instruments also included observation sheets and school report document analysis. The results indicate a strong consensus that the revision of vision, mission, and a curriculum responsive to information technology are urgent needs. Teachers focus on competency enhancement, while parents prioritize infrastructure improvements and more transparent, accountable school management. All stakeholders expressed absolute support (100% agreement) for the transformation process, provided the school actively fulfills all transformation indicators. However, the process faces challenges such as limited funding from foundations, infrastructure accessibility, and lengthy administrative procedures for school nationalization. This study contributes to the development of a transformation model for religious schools specifically within the context of Christian education in East Nusa Tenggara by adopting spiritual values and modern educational quality standards. The success of this transformation relies on a comprehensive approach involving four pillars: revitalizing the vision-mission, sustainable teacher development, digitalizing management and curriculum, and strengthening external partnerships.

Abstract

This study reconstructs the philosophy of leadership within the framework of Pentecostal leadership by integrating ethical, ontological, and epistemological dimensions in contemporary theological discourse. It arises from the gap between the strong emphasis on praxis and experiential spirituality in Pentecostalism and the limited development of systematic philosophical reflection in leadership studies.Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this study examines the ethical, ontological, and epistemological foundations of Christian leadership in relation to the charismatic, relational, and pneumatological characteristics of Pentecostal leadership.The findings demonstrate that Pentecostal leadership cannot be reduced to charismatic practices or managerial approaches alone; rather, it should be understood as a theological–philosophical praxis that integrates spiritual experience, critical theological reflection, and ethical responsibility within the faith community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of media and theological doctrine on Christian congregational perceptions of the Israel–Palestine conflict using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The primary issue addressed is the polarization of congregational perceptions driven by biased media narratives, rigid theological interpretations, and their impact on human existence in conflict-affected regions. Employing the PRISMA protocol and Kitchenham standards, this study synthesizes final literature drawn from various academic databases published between 2020 and 2025. The findings indicate that congregational perceptions are constructed through a dialectical interaction between international media framing, doctrines of biblical land sovereignty, and the spiritual experiences of pilgrims. The study highlights the urgent need for church revitalization through media literacy and inclusive theology to promote social justice for marginalized communities. Ultimately, this research contributes to the development of a transformative Christian public ethics in responding to global humanitarian crises.

Abstract

This review examines the work of Horst Dietrich Preuss, Old Testament Theology Volume 2, which places the concept of election at the center of Old Testament theology. This study employs a critical analytical approach to the content and methodology of the book. The findings indicate that, theologically, Preuss successfully affirms God as the primary subject in Israel’s history and election as the foundation of identity and ethical responsibility. However, methodologically, the work reveals inconsistencies, as it shifts between historical approaches, word studies, and theological reflection without sufficient integration. This results in a lack of overall structural coherence. Nevertheless, the work remains a significant contribution to Old Testament theology, particularly in developing the concept of election as a basis for the ethical formation of faith communities. Therefore, the book is best engaged through critical and constructive reading within theological education contexts.
