Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of animated videos in Civic Education (PKn) learning on the rights and obligations of citizens in grade IV of SD IT Esa Unggul. The background of the research departs from the problems of PKn learning which are still verbal and abstract so that students have difficulty understanding the basic concepts of citizenship. The research approach used a descriptive qualitative method with the subjects of one PKn teacher and 28 students. Data was collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that animated videos improved learning activities, attention focus, and emotional responses of students. This visual medium helps to concretize abstract concepts, facilitates understanding, and encourages active participation through discussions after video screening. The findings are in line with visual communication theory, agenda setting, and uses and gratifications that explain how media is able to direct attention, provide meaning, and meet students' learning needs. Nonetheless, technical barriers such as internet connection and video duration require the active role of teachers in facilitating learning to remain effective. The research concludes that animated videos are an effective learning medium to increase students' understanding and activeness on the rights and obligations of citizens, and are relevant to the demands of the Independent Curriculum which emphasizes the use of technology and more interactive learning.

Abstract

Penjualan produk imitasi di Shopee Live menimbulkan persoalan linguistik berupa munculnya variasi leksikal khas yang belum banyak dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk variasi leksikal yang digunakan dalam interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli serta menjelaskan fungsi sosiolinguistik yang menyertainya. Fokus penelitian mencakup kosakata khas, istilah teknis, plesetan merek, dan bentuk slang yang digunakan selama proses jual beli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan data dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak catat, yaitu dengan menyimak dan mencatat tuturan penjual maupun pembeli selama sesi siaran langsung di Shopee Live. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk menemukan pola variasi bahasa dan fungsi sosial yang muncul dalam praktik komunikasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi leksikal berfungsi sebagai penanda identitas komunitas sekaligus strategi komunikasi untuk membangun kedekatan, menciptakan suasana persuasif, dan menjaga kelancaran transaksi. Penggunaan plesetan merek dan sejumlah istilah tertentu juga menjadi bentuk penyesuaian terhadap kebijakan platform

Abstract

This literature review aims to examine the effectiveness of a humorous approach in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in addressing anxiety caused by Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). The background to this research is the increasing prevalence of FOMO as a form of modern social anxiety triggered by social media use. The research method used was a systematic integrative review, combining the results of quantitative, qualitative, and theoretical research articles. The results indicate that humor in REBT is effective in reducing FOMO anxiety by addressing irrational beliefs, decreasing emotional reactivity, and facilitating cognitive transformation. Humor helps individuals view social situations from a more adaptive perspective, increases self-acceptance, and reduces compulsive behaviors related to social media. This study concludes that integrating humor into REBT can be an effective strategy for addressing FOMO anxiety among students.

Abstract

Disiplin dan teladan guru adalah fondasi krusial dalam membentuk karakter siswa di sekolah dasar. Guru bukan sekadar penyampai materi, melainkan juga contoh perilaku yang membentuk pemahaman dan penerapan nilai kedisiplinan oleh siswa. Akan tetapi terdapat ketidakteraturan dalam kedatangan tepat waktu dan ketidakstabilan dalam menerapkan kebiasaan disiplin oleh guru. Kondisi ini secara langsung memengaruhi tingkah laku siswa, sehingga dibutuhkan inisiatif sekolah yang dapat mengatur teladan secara terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan Program SEPATU (Selalu Tepat Waktu) sebagai strategi meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan peran teladan guru di sekolah dasar. Latar belakangnya didasarkan pada pentingnya teladan guru sebagai fondasi utama pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa, serta inkonsistensi praktik disiplin di sekolah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus eksploratori, data dikumpulkan via observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan analisis dokumen, fokus pada implementasi program di SDN Surgi Mufti 1 Banjarmasin. Hasil menunjukkan program berjalan namun belum optimal. Guru mulai sadar akan disiplin, meski sebagian kurang konsisten dalam ketepatan waktu. Siswa respons positif lewat rutinitas pagi dan meniru guru, tapi keterlambatan masih terjadi, terutama Senin. Hambatan utama: inkonsistensi guru, kesiapan siswa, dan kendala teknis seperti gangguan alat absensi. Sekolah siapkan penguatan via evaluasi berkala, koordinasi lebih baik, dan perbaikan fasilitas. Penelitian menegaskan keberhasilan disiplin bergantung pada konsistensi teladan guru, dukungan sistem sekolah, dan keterlibatan keluarga. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada praktik pendidikan karakter dan arahkan penguatan kebijakan kedisiplinan berbasis budaya sekolah ke depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menkaji bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk memperkuat pemahaman konsep sekaligus pembentukan karakter. Selama ini, matematika sering dianggap hanya berfokus pada logika dan prosedur hitung, namun pandangan terkini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran juga perlu mendorong sikap etis yang bersumber dari ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur sistematis dengan menganalisis artikel jurnal, buku, dan prosiding yang dipublikasikan anatara tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Pemilihan sumber dilakukan melalui pencarian kata kunci yang relevan dan penyaringan berdasrkan fokus penelitian. Hasil sinteses menunjukkan beberapa strategi utama, yaitu mengontekstualkan masalah matematika dengan praktik keislaman, mengintegrasikan ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis dalam pembelajaran, serta menerapkan pedagogi berbasis karakter. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang terkait dengan konteks Islam, seperti zakat, warisan, dan prinsip keadilan, membantu memperdalam pemahaman kosnep dan meningkatkan motivasi. Penggunaan teks keagamaan juga menumbuhkan kesadaran spiritual, sedangkan pembiasaan nilai seperti kejujuran, disiplin, dan rasa syukur memberikan kontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Selain itu, bahan ajar berbasis nilai Islam terbukti layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran matematika dinilai memberikan dampak nyata terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan moral peserta didik, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to provide teachers with a deeper understanding of the factors thatinfluence the learning achievement of elementary school students, enabling them todesign more effective instructional strategies aligned with students’ needs. Thisresearch employs a literature review method by examining various sources discussing the roles of internal and external factors in determining students’academic performance. The internal factors analyzed include physical condition,psychological aspects, and cognitive abilities, while the external factors consist offamily environment, school environment, and community environment. The findingsindicate that learning achievement can be improved when teachers are able toidentify the causes of students’ learning difficulties through these two categories offactors and adjust their teaching approaches accordingly. Teachers are able tocreate more interactive and supportive learning experiences when they understandhow personal conditions and environmental influences shape students’ academicoutcomes. These results highlight the essential role of teachers in optimizinglearning achievement through the management of influential factors surrounding thelearning process.

Abstract

Fine motor development is an important aspect of early childhood learning readiness, but preliminary studies at Nurul Falah Kindergarten show that most 4-5-year-old children still experience difficulties in finger and hand skills due to insufficiently varied stimulation. This study aims to determine the effect of finger painting activities on the fine motor development of 4-5-year-old children. The method used was an experiment with a pretest–posttest control group design. The results showed that the average fine motor skills score of children in the experimental group increased significantly higher than that of the control group after receiving finger painting treatment. The difference in the posttest scores of the two groups was significant, proving that finger painting is effective in improving finger strength, eye–hand coordination, and fine motor control in children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of using Wordwall on students' interest in science learning photosynthesis material at SD Tegal Besar 02. The background of this research stems from the low students' interest in learning to understand the abstract concept of photosynthesis, Therefore, attractive and interactive media are needed in the learning process.This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive research type. This approach was chosen because the research focuses on determining the extent of the relationship and influence between the use of Wordwall media and students' learning interest without conducting direct treatment in the form of pretests and posttests. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Tegal Besar 02, with the sample selected purposively. The data collection techniques chosen were observation during learning activities and questionnaires given to students.. The research results indicate that there is a positive relationship between the use of Wordwall media and students' increased interest in learning photosynthesis material. Students who learn using Wordwall media tend to be more enthusiastic, active, and have higher motivation. In conclusion, Wordwall has a positive effect on increasing students' interest in learning about photosynthesis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of character education through habituation strategies based on Islamic values at MI Ma'arif Wringinputih Borobudur. The habituation programs developed by the madrasah, including 7K (Cleanliness, Beauty, Order, Security, Comfort, Family, and Longing), as well as religious activities such as dhuha prayers, tadarus, joint prayers, and time discipline, are the main focus in the formation of students' character. The research uses a qualitative approach of the case study type with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, and reinforced by Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework of habitus, domain, and capital. The results of the study show that the habituation strategy is applied consistently and integrated in school culture, thus forming Islamic character habitus such as discipline, responsibility, religiosity, and social concern. The 7K program is an effective means of creating a conducive learning environment while supporting the improvement of the quality of character education. Managerially, the implementation of the program meets the principles of planning, implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement. Thus, the habituation strategy based on Islamic values has proven to contribute significantly to improving the quality of character education at MI Ma'arif Wringinputih Borobudur.

Abstract

This study examines the role of language philosophy as a reflective foundation for addressing the problems of meaning and declining motivation in learning English. With a qualitative-descriptive approach grounded in systematic literature reviews and hermeneutic analysis, this study examines key literature from the traditions of language philosophy, motivational theory, and pedagogical practice to examine the relationship between language use, context, and learner awareness. Key findings point to three things: first, many teaching practices still emphasize structural aspects to the point of separating form from meaning; second, learning activities that place reflection on meaning to increase students' pragmatic awareness and emotional engagement; Third, the integration of philosophical ideas into learning design allows for the creation of teaching models that foster autonomy, communicative empathy, and intrinsic motivation. The contribution of this research lies in the formulation of the concept of reflective pedagogy, grounded in the philosophy of language—a framework that connects the theory of meaning with classroom practice—as an alternative to enrich the EFL curriculum. The implications of the findings suggest the need for teacher training that emphasizes reflection on meaning and revision of teaching materials so that English learning becomes more meaningful, contextual, and motivating.
