Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of using Wordwall on students' interest in science learning photosynthesis material at SD Tegal Besar 02. The background of this research stems from the low students' interest in learning to understand the abstract concept of photosynthesis, Therefore, attractive and interactive media are needed in the learning process.This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive research type. This approach was chosen because the research focuses on determining the extent of the relationship and influence between the use of Wordwall media and students' learning interest without conducting direct treatment in the form of pretests and posttests. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Tegal Besar 02, with the sample selected purposively. The data collection techniques chosen were observation during learning activities and questionnaires given to students.. The research results indicate that there is a positive relationship between the use of Wordwall media and students' increased interest in learning photosynthesis material. Students who learn using Wordwall media tend to be more enthusiastic, active, and have higher motivation. In conclusion, Wordwall has a positive effect on increasing students' interest in learning about photosynthesis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of character education through habituation strategies based on Islamic values at MI Ma'arif Wringinputih Borobudur. The habituation programs developed by the madrasah, including 7K (Cleanliness, Beauty, Order, Security, Comfort, Family, and Longing), as well as religious activities such as dhuha prayers, tadarus, joint prayers, and time discipline, are the main focus in the formation of students' character. The research uses a qualitative approach of the case study type with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, and reinforced by Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework of habitus, domain, and capital. The results of the study show that the habituation strategy is applied consistently and integrated in school culture, thus forming Islamic character habitus such as discipline, responsibility, religiosity, and social concern. The 7K program is an effective means of creating a conducive learning environment while supporting the improvement of the quality of character education. Managerially, the implementation of the program meets the principles of planning, implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement. Thus, the habituation strategy based on Islamic values has proven to contribute significantly to improving the quality of character education at MI Ma'arif Wringinputih Borobudur.

Abstract

This study examines the role of language philosophy as a reflective foundation for addressing the problems of meaning and declining motivation in learning English. With a qualitative-descriptive approach grounded in systematic literature reviews and hermeneutic analysis, this study examines key literature from the traditions of language philosophy, motivational theory, and pedagogical practice to examine the relationship between language use, context, and learner awareness. Key findings point to three things: first, many teaching practices still emphasize structural aspects to the point of separating form from meaning; second, learning activities that place reflection on meaning to increase students' pragmatic awareness and emotional engagement; Third, the integration of philosophical ideas into learning design allows for the creation of teaching models that foster autonomy, communicative empathy, and intrinsic motivation. The contribution of this research lies in the formulation of the concept of reflective pedagogy, grounded in the philosophy of language—a framework that connects the theory of meaning with classroom practice—as an alternative to enrich the EFL curriculum. The implications of the findings suggest the need for teacher training that emphasizes reflection on meaning and revision of teaching materials so that English learning becomes more meaningful, contextual, and motivating.

Abstract

The era of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution requires the field of education to produce individuals with 21st-century skills. Critical thinking and science literacy are important 21st-century skills to be developed in students through appropriate learning strategies. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of Discovery Learning on the critical thinking and science literacy skills of elementary school students in IPAS subjects. The research method was a literature review. The research data source was secondary data. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that elementary school students' critical thinking skills and science literacy in IPAS can be improved through Discovery Learning. It is necessary to improve teachers' pedagogical abilities in designing learning activities with relevant learning strategies so that students have 21st-century skills and are able to adapt to the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools aims to develop students' language skills. Based on observations in fourth-grade students at SDN Kandri 01 Semarang, students' narrative writing skills are still low. Nineteen out of 36 students (52.8%) still received average daily test scores below the Minimum Completion Minimum (KKM) (65). This is due to teachers' lack of skills in implementing learning models and media. Researchers implemented the Think Pair Share learning model with audiovisual media to improve students' narrative writing skills. The research question is whether the Think Pair Share model with audiovisual media can improve teacher skills, student activity, and student learning outcomes in narrative writing. This study aims to: (1) improve teacher skills, (2) increase student activity, and (3) improve student learning outcomes in narrative writing. The research subjects were teachers and fourth-grade students at SDN Kandri 01. The results showed an increase in teacher skills, student activity, and student learning outcomes in narrative writing. In cycle I, meeting 1, the teacher's skills obtained a score of 25 with sufficient criteria, increasing in meeting 2 to 31 with good criteria. In cycle II, meeting 1, obtained a score of 35 with very good criteria, increasing in meeting 2 to 37 with very good criteria. Student activity in cycle I, meeting 1, obtained an average score of 23.2 with sufficient criteria, increasing in meeting 2 to 28.1 with sufficient criteria. In cycle II, meeting 1, obtained an average score of 24.8 with good criteria, increasing in meeting 2 to 29.6 with good criteria. The completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I, meeting 1 was 70.6% with an average of 65.7, increasing in meeting 2 to 75% with an average of 67.9. In cycle II, meeting 1, the completeness of student learning outcomes was 81.3% with an average of 69.8, increasing in meeting 2 to 85.7% with an average of 72.4. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that implementing the Think Pair Share model with audiovisual media can improve teacher skills, student activity, and student learning outcomes in narrative writing. Recommendations for teachers include implementing appropriate learning models and media to improve student motivation and learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by map puzzle media in improving student learning outcomes on the subject of Indonesia's geographical location. This quantitative study used a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest design involving 28 fifth-grade students at MIS Al-Misbah. Data were collected through pretest and posttest consisting of multiple-choice and essay questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov–Smirnov and Shapiro–Wilk normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed. The paired sample t-test showed a significant increase in learning outcomes (t = 12.214; p = 0.000 < 0.05), with the average score increasing from 47.26 to 75.86. The N-Gain value of 0.46 was in the moderate category, indicating that the use of map puzzle media was effective in helping students understand spatial concepts through visual and manipulative learning experiences. These results confirm that the PjBL model assisted by map puzzle media is able to make abstract geographical concepts more concrete, meaningful, and easier to understand for elementary school students.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kenyataannya, praktik supervisi yang bersifat hierarkis sering membatasi ruang refleksi guru. Artikel ini membahas transformasi supervisi akademik yang integratif dan setara untuk mendukung implementasi Pembelajaran Mendalam. Pendekatan ini menempatkan guru sebagai mitra pembelajar, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan supervisi yang lebih humanis, dan kolaboratif. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen pada praktik supervisi di sekolah menengah pertama diKabupaten Rembang. Analisis data disajikan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan yang divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Transformasi supervisi diamati melalui keterlibatan berbagai aktor, yaitu pengawas, kepala sekolah, guru senior, dan guru peserta pelatihan Pembelajaran Mendalam. Para stakeholder berkolaborasi untuk memberikan pendampingan profesional yang lebih komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi integratif dan setara mampu menghilangkan jarak hierarkis, meningkatkan rasa nyaman, serta memperkuat budaya refleksi dan kolaborasi. Supervisi tidak lagi dipandang sebagai kontrol, melainkan sebagai proses belajar bersama yang berorientasi pada perbaikan. Pendekatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap implementasi Pembelajaran Mendalam. Hal ini ditandai dengan meningkatnya kreativitas, inovasi, pemahaman pedagogis, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa model supervisi yang humanis dan partisipatoris layak direkomendasikan sebagai strategi penguatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan manajemen waktu pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi sambil bekerja paruh waktu. Fenomena peran ganda tersebut menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, seperti penurunan konsentrasi, peningkatan stres, serta kesulitan mengatur prioritas akademik dan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Partisipan berjumlah 206 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan dua instrumen yang telah diadaptasi, yaitu College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) dengan 44 item dan skala Manajemen Waktu sebanyak 10 item. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa kedua alat ukur memiliki konsistensi internal yang sangat baik, dengan nilai Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0.874 untuk self-efficacy dan 0.816 untuk manajemen waktu. Uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal sehingga memenuhi syarat analisis parametrik. Analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan manajemen waktu (r = 0.651, p < 0.001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi self-efficacy yang dimiliki mahasiswa, semakin baik pula kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola waktu. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa self-efficacy merupakan faktor penting yang mendukung efektivitas pengelolaan waktu, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang menghadapi tuntutan akademik tingkat akhir dan kewajiban pekerjaan secara bersamaan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study was based on the importance of managing Guidance and Counseling (GC) services that support students' well-being. To analyze the impact of GC service management on third-year Nursing students 'psychological well-being at the 3 IDHATA, five kinds of research methods were used, including a quantitative and descriptive correlational approach that employs 36 respondents chosen from the base of purposive sampling. Questionnaires were adjusted in a Likert-scale format and average was taken according to tion standard deviation significantly, Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, and normality tests were conducted followed for check the linear relationships of samples through simple regression methods. GC management was rated high, with students 'psychological well-being in the middle. Regression analysis indicated that GC management had a significant influence on psychological well-being, with an R Square value of 0375. This analysis concludes that GC’s effective service management significantly improves students’ psychological well-being and must be further strengthened with closer planning and supervision. Abstract

Every plant experiences growth and development throughout its life. This growth and development occurs in every plant organ that possesses meristematic tissue. Primary plant growth results from the activity of meristematic tissue located at the tips of roots and stems. Primary plant growth is the result of the activity of meristematic tissue located at the tips of roots and stems. This tissue consists of totipotent embryonic cells with a high mitotic rate. This study is a literature review aimed at analyzing the structure, physiological activity, and factors regulating the development of meristematic tissue in the early phase of plant growth. The review was conducted on 15 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025 from various reputable international and national sources. The analysis results indicate that cell division in the root and stem apical meristem is controlled by hormonal interactions between auxin and cytokinin, as well as by genetic regulation involving the expression of the WOX, PLT, and KNOX genes. The structure of meristematic tissue is divided into three main zones: the division zone, the elongation zone, and the differentiation zone, each of which plays a role in forming primary tissues such as xylem, phloem, and parenchyma. Environmental factors, including light intensity, water availability, and temperature, also influence the rate of cell division and differentiation patterns. Overall, meristematic tissue plays a central role in the early morphogenesis of plants, forming the basis for the formation of root systems and stem growth, and providing an important foundation for the development of research in the field of modern plant anatomy and physiology.
