Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of visionary leadership of school principals, organizational culture, and teachers’ emotional intelligence on the improvement of teacher performance in public elementary schools. The research employed a correlation study method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers in the Pondok Aren subdistrict. The results indicate that visionary leadership, organizational culture, and teachers’ emotional intelligence significantly affect teacher performance, both individually and simultaneously. Visionary leadership provides direction and motivation, organizational culture creates a positive and professional work environment, while emotional intelligence helps teachers manage emotions and enhance social interactions with students and colleagues. These findings highlight the importance of developing leadership, organizational culture, and emotional intelligence as strategies to improve educational quality.

Abstract

Traditional sports tournaments such as football and sepak takraw are not merely competitive events, but also serve as vital means to preserve cultural heritage and strengthen the social bonds within the community. This article explores the festive and community-rich organization of football and takraw tournaments held in Jorong Atas Laban, Nagari Halaban. The event aims to foster sportsmanship, enhance youth solidarity, and reinforce local identity through the preservation of traditional sports practices. In addition to providing entertainment for the community, the tournament also serves as a momentum for youth development towards greater achievement.The participatory nature of the event, the enthusiastic involvement of the community, and the positive outcomes observed indicate that such activities can be strategic tools for social and cultural development at the local level. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders, youth, organizing committees, and documentation of the event.The findings show that the tournament positively impacts youth participation in social activities, strengthens the spirit of cooperation (gotong royong), and revives a sense of togetherness that had started to fade. Local cultural values such as consensus (musyawarah), sportsmanship, and kinship were deeply reflected throughout the event. Beyond being a healthy competition, the tournament symbolizes a grassroots spirit of building progress initiated by the community itself. It has proven to be one of the strategic efforts in realizing community-based social development rooted in local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive storybook media based on the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model as an effort to instill the character values ​​of politeness in children aged 5-6 years. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study were children aged 5-6 years at Sunan Ampel Kindergarten, Drancang Village, Menganti. Data collection techniques were carried out through validation sheets from material experts and media experts, teacher practicality questionnaires, as well as observations and tests to measure the effectiveness of the media. The results showed that the interactive storybook media based on the Project Based Learning learning model was declared very feasible to use with a percentage of material expert validation of 100% and media expert validation of 97.72%. The effectiveness of the media was proven through the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test which showed a significant increase in the character values ​​of children's politeness between the pretest and posttest results with a significance value of <0.05. The practicality of the media was assessed in the good to very good category with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.600 indicating a reliable instrument. Thus, interactive storybook media based on Project Based Learning is declared suitable, effective, and practical to be used as a learning medium to instill the character values ​​of politeness in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the civic culture values embedded in the Cheng Beng tradition and its role in stimulating social participation among the Chinese community in Pemangkat District. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving 12 informants, including community leaders, ritual leaders, and Chinese residents who actively participate in Cheng Beng. The findings indicate that the Cheng Beng tradition reflects three core civic culture values: mutual trust and tolerance, social solidarity, and a collective spirit that manifests throughout the ritual stages. These values are visible in shared responsibilities, cooperative preparation, and respectful interactions within the community. However, three other civic culture values, active citizen involvement, egalitarian relations, and cooperative living, were less prominent. Their development appears largely confined to the Chinese community, while participation from non-Chinese residents remains mostly technical and does not yet reflect deeper engagement in the tradition. Furthermore, Cheng Beng contributes to shaping the Chinese community's participation in social life through three forms of orientation: cognitive, affective, and evaluative. These orientations shape how community members understand, appreciate, and interpret the tradition's meaning. As a result, Cheng Beng fosters attitudes of togetherness, social responsibility, and cultural continuity in daily interactions and communal activities. Nevertheless, its impact remains more significant within the Chinese community itself. Efforts are needed to expand Cheng Beng's inclusive potential, so it contributes more broadly to social cohesion and civic engagement in Pemangkat District.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower SPNF-SKB Bekasi City students through digital marketing workshops and training in making flower buckets as a productive skill. The program is designed to improve participants' abilities, especially Package B and C students, in utilizing social media as a means of promotion and developing creativity through the creation of craft products with market value. The implementation methods include counseling, demonstrations, and direct practice in stages. The results of the activity show that this training has succeeded in improving the participants' skills in making flower buckets independently. Participants also gained new insights into effective digital marketing strategies for small business development. In addition, this activity had a positive impact on the growth of entrepreneurial motivation and awareness of the importance of digital marketing in increasing income opportunities. Thus, this program is considered capable of supporting the empowerment of students and encouraging economic independence through creative skills and digital-based marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the remedial Quran reading and writing program at Bumrungsuksa Islamic Boarding School, Thailand, focusing on the implementation process, supporting and inhibiting factors, and its impact on the ability to read according to Tajweed and write the Hijaiyah letters. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the remedial program was able to improve the accuracy of makhraj, reading fluency, tajweed understanding, and Hijaiyah writing skills, supported by teacher competence and an intensive learning approach. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as time constraints, inadequate facilities, and differences in students' initial abilities. Overall, this remedial program contributed significantly to strengthening students' basic Quran reading and writing skills.

Abstract

This research was conducted to explore the correlation between students’ self-efficacy and their achievement in mathematics, particularly in the topic of long division, among fourth-grade learners at SD Negeri Sigedong during the 2025/2026 academic year. A quantitative method with a correlational research design was applied. The study utilized two main instruments: a self-efficacy scale for elementary students and a test measuring mastery of long division. Data were examined using the Spearman’s rhononparametric correlation analysis assisted by JASP software. The results demonstrated a positive and significant association between self-efficacy and mathematics achievement, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.555 and a significance level of 0.007. These results suggest that students who possess higher self-efficacy are likely to obtain superior outcomes in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis bentuk akulturasi antara nilai-nilai Islam dan tradisi lokal Petik Laut di masyarakat pesisir Pantai Paseban, Kecamatan Kencong, Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur. Tradisi ini, yang dilaksanakan setiap bulan Muharram atau Suro, merupakan ritual syukur atas rezeki laut melalui prosesi larung sesaji yang diintegrasikan dengan elemen Islam seperti istighosah, pembacaan Al-Qur'an, doa bersama, dan tasyakuran. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan akulturasi berupa sinkretisme religius-budaya, di mana elemen animisme pra-Islam diubah menjadi bentuk tauhid, seperti interpretasi sesaji sebagai sedekah dan penambahan dzikir untuk menghindari syirik. Persepsi masyarakat positif, dengan 82-90% responden melihat integrasi ini memperkaya identitas budaya, meningkatkan solidaritas sosial, dan memperkuat nilai spiritual seperti syukur serta gotong royong. Penerimaan tinggi didukung oleh partisipasi komunal dan peran tokoh agama. Faktor keberhasilan akulturasi meliputi dialog musyawarah sejak 2017 oleh Nahdlatul Ulama dan Muhammadiyah, dukungan sosial-ekonomi melalui pariwisata, interpretasi Qur'anik maritim, pelestarian identitas budaya, dan harmonisasi antaragama. Pembahasan menyimpulkan bahwa tradisi tetap eksis sebagai model harmoni budaya-religius, mempromosikan moderasi beragama, keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan pendidikan nilai Islam di tengah masyarakat religius pesisir.

Abstract

Procurement of facilities and infrastructure is one of the important components in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of educational management in schools. The availability of adequate facilities can improve the quality of the teaching and learning process, while inappropriate management can lead to waste and a decline in the quality of educational services. The purpose of this study is to analyze various research results related to the process of procuring school facilities and infrastructure in realizing efficient educational management. This study was conducted qualitatively with the aim of describing the process of procuring facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 17, Jambi City. The results of this study analyze the transparent procurement process, needs-based planning, and good supervision that contribute significantly to the creation of efficiency in educational management. Thus, schools need to strengthen the planning, implementation, and evaluation systems for procuring facilities and infrastructure so that the goal of efficient educational management can be optimally achieved. Abstract

Perkembangan e-commerce di Indonesia mendorong UMKM untuk beradaptasi dengan sistem penjualan digital yang menuntut efisiensi biaya, pelayanan yang cepat, serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh biaya pelayanan, kualitas pelayanan, penggunaan teknologi, waktu pengiriman, dan kondisi produk terhadap kepuasan pelanggan UMKM berbasis marketplace. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 26 pelaku UMKM di Kota Semarang yang memiliki toko online pada lebih dari satu marketplace. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dan biaya pelayanan memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, sementara waktu pengiriman dan kondisi produk masih dipengaruhi oleh kendala logistik eksternal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan biaya pelayanan yang tepat, didukung oleh pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan serta memperkuat daya saing UMKM di era digital.
