Abstract

Universal Design Learning (UDL) is a framework developed to improve access, engagement, and learning outcomes for all students, particularly in inclusive education. This study aims to analyze the concepts, principles, benefits, and challenges of implementing Universal Design for Learning strategies in inclusive schools. A qualitative approach with a literature review model was used in this study. Literature collection and analysis were conducted systematically by collecting and examining scientific sources such as national and international journal articles, academic books, and previous research related to UDL and inclusive education. The study results indicate that the implementation of UDL contributes to improving access to learning, engagement, learning motivation, and the ability of students with special needs to demonstrate academic understanding through various means of representation and expression. The implementation of UDL is needed in adaptable learning planning from the beginning, as well as policy support and competency development for educators to improve the quality of inclusive education implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the school discipline program, the level of student discipline, and the influence of the discipline on student discipline at SDN Cijambe, Cianjur Regency and SDN Caringin 2, Sukabumi Regency. The background of the study arose from findings in the field that the implementation of the discipline has not been running optimally, which is evident from the fact that some students still arrive late, do not wear the uniform as stipulated, do not comply with teacher instructions, and have low concern for environmental cleanliness. The study used qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive picture of the implementation of the discipline and student discipline. The results showed that the discipline program has been implemented, but its implementation has not been consistent, resulting in a moderate level of student discipline. The findings also showed a positive relationship between the discipline program and the level of discipline, but the effect has not been optimal due to obstacles in habituation, supervision, and enforcement of the rules. This study concluded that discipline has an important role in shaping student discipline, so it is necessary to increase socialization, positive reinforcement, teacher role models, and cooperation with parents to optimize discipline in the school environment. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD N Timbang 01. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. There are three research questions in this study, namely, how parenting styles are applied in assisting learning at home, what factors influence the effectiveness of parenting styles in supporting student learning outcomes, and whether parenting styles contribute to student learning outcomes. The research informants consisted of classroom teachers, parents, and students selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that parenting styles play an important role in shaping students' motivation, discipline, and consistency in learning. Democratic parenting styles were found to produce optimal and stable learning outcomes because they are supported by clear learning rules, parental guidance, and two-way communication that encourages children's intrinsic motivation. Authoritarian and mixed parenting styles tend to produce fluctuating learning outcomes because children's learning motivation is more external and influenced by pressure, such as punishment and threats. Meanwhile, permissive parenting shows relatively low learning outcomes due to a lack of rules and supervision, resulting in children being less disciplined and distracted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program supervisi akademik di TK ABA Jatibarang Brebes menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan guru TK ABA Jatibarang Brebes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Evaluasi konteks mengungkapkan perlunya program supervisi akademik berdasarkan kondisi dan kebutuhan peningkatan kualitas guru; (2) Evaluasi input menggambarkan program yang direncanakan dengan baik menggunakan teknik yang beragam, melibatkan kesiapan guru, didukung oleh anggaran dan infrastruktur yang tersedia; (3) Evaluasi proses melaporkan penerapan teknik yang direncanakan dengan beberapa penyesuaian berdasarkan kondisi yang berlangsung, didukung oleh kesiapan dan partisipasi guru; (4) Evaluasi produk menemukan bahwa program supervisi akademik memberikan dampak positif dan mencapai tujuan yang direncanakan terhadap pengembangan kualitas guru. Disimpulkan bahwa program supervisi akademik di TK ABA Jatibarang Brebes perlu dilanjutkan dengan beberapa perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of work discipline, self-efficacy, and compensation on the professional commitment of early childhood education (ECE) teachers in Gunungsindur District. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research population consisted of ECE teachers affiliated with HIMPAUDI and PKG in Gunungsindur District, with a total sample of 111 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through correlation analysis, simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation using SPSS version 23. The results indicate that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ professional commitment with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.920 and a contribution of 92.0%. Compensation also shows a positive and significant effect with r = 0.660 (contribution 66.0%), while self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect with r = 0.840 (contribution 84.0%). Simultaneously, work discipline, compensation, and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on professional commitment with a combined contribution of 16.8%. These findings suggest that strengthening work discipline, enhancing self-efficacy, and providing fair compensation are essential to improving the professional commitment of ECE teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) peran kepala sekolah sebagai leader dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin dan mandiri peserta didik, (2) peran kepala sekolah sebagai educator dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin dan mandiri peserta didik, dan (3) model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan karakter disiplin dan mandiri peserta didik di SD Negeri 01 Bentar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Informan penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, empat orang guru, dua orang komite sekolah, dan dua orang wali murid. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peran kepala sekolah sebagai leader diimplementasikan melalui perencanaan program dalam Rencana Strategis Sekolah 2025-2029, pelaksanaan program dengan keterlibatan langsung, pengawasan berkala, dan evaluasi sistematis; (2) peran kepala sekolah sebagai educator diimplementasikan melalui pembimbingan guru, pengembangan kompetensi dengan sepuluh program komprehensif, dan keteladanan; (3) model kepemimpinan yang diterapkan adalah kepemimpinan transformasional-partisipatif dengan penekanan pada keteladanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dan Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) pada siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi-experimental design dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 siswa kelompok eksperimen di SDN Gunungtajem dan 15 siswa kelompok kontrol di SDN Tembongraja 02. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan uji-t independen dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai N-gain kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,69 (kategori sedang-tinggi) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,33 (kategori sedang); (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman konsep antara kedua kelompok dengan nilai t-hitung 13,753 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep KPK dan FPB siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Setiap perusahaan memerlukan sistem pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif dan akurat guna meminimalkan risiko keuangan, khususnya dalam pembiayaan pengeluaran operasional yang bersifat mendesak dan bernilai relatif kecil. Dalam konteks tersebut, dana kas kecil memiliki peran strategis sebagai sarana pembiayaan transaksi tunai yang tidak efisien apabila dilakukan melalui pembayaran menggunakan cek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlakuan akuntansi dana kas kecil pada Hotel X, Bali serta menilai kesesuaiannya dengan ketentuan teori akuntansi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap junior accountant dan general cashier, serta dokumentasi pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan tidak melakukan pencatatan jurnal pada saat pembentukan dana kas kecil, melainkan hanya mencatatnya melalui register pembentukan kas kecil. Selain itu, dalam proses pengukuran, nilai transaksi tidak dicatat secara rinci berdasarkan bukti pengeluaran aktual, tetapi dicatat melalui pengelompokan akun beban pada saat pengisian kembali dana kas kecil. Praktik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan akuntansi dana kas kecil yang diterapkan perusahaan belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan teori akuntansi.

Abstract

This study aims to resynthesize crucial concepts regarding measurement scales and sampling techniques to address methodological discrepancies that frequently occur in educational research. In the dynamics of educational management, the accuracy of the variable quantification process and the representativeness of the sample are the primary determinants of the validity of empirical findings and the accuracy of generalizations of research results. The method used in this article is a library research study with a qualitative-descriptive approach, which examines relevant scientific literature from the last five years. The results of the discussion indicate that the measurement scale is divided into four hierarchical levels: nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio, where each level determines the data structure and the type of statistical analysis that can be applied. In addition, this article describes attitude measurement instruments such as the Likert Scale, Guttman Scale, Semantic Differential Scale, and Rating Scale. Regarding sampling techniques, the discussion is divided into probability sampling (simple random, systematic, stratified, and area) for statistical objectivity, and non-probability sampling (purposive, convenience, snowball, quota, and saturation) for in-depth phenomena in a specific population. This article is expected to be a reference for researchers in maintaining the integrity, validity, and credibility of research findings in the field of education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and discipline on the performance of PAUD teachers in Gunung Sindur District. Teacher performance is a key factor in improving the quality of education, which is influenced by leadership aspects, organizational values, and the level of discipline in carrying out professional duties and responsibilities. The research approach used is quantitative with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to teacher respondents. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula, so that a representative number of respondents were obtained. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the analysis indicate that transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Organizational culture is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. In addition, discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and discipline are able to explain variations in teacher performance significantly. These findings indicate that improving teacher performance can be achieved through the implementation of effective transformational leadership, strengthening a conducive organizational culture, and improving work discipline. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of educational management studies and practical contributions for school leaders in formulating policies and strategies for improving teacher performance.
