Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by third-grade teachers to fosterreading skills among students with concentration limitations at SDN Bahagia 03. Thisresearch used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collectedthrough observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed thatteachers implemented various strategies such as using visual media, reading aloudmethods, and individual approaches to enhance students’ focus. The study alsofound that teachers’ emotional support played a crucial role in motivating studentswith concentration challenges. These findings are expected to serve as a referencefor developing adaptive reading instructional strategies.

Abstract

This research and development aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Digital Educational Game on the Material of East Java Cultural Diversity to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class IV SDN Burengan 1. This study uses a research and development method with the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this study were teachers and 28 students of class IV SDN Burengan 1. The results of this study indicate that (1) The results of the validity test obtained a material expert score of 96% and a media expert score of 90%. The average value of the validity results is 93% with very valid criteria. (2) The results of the teacher's practicality test were 82% and the student response score was 90%. From these two values, a percentage of 86% can be accumulated with practical criteria. (3) The results of the educational game effectiveness test obtained an average pretest score of 66.25%. Then, the average posttest score was 89.25%, this score has met the KKTP with effective criteria. It can be concluded that the Digital Educational Game on the Material of East Javanese Cultural Diversity is stated to be very valid, very practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material of East Javanese cultural diversity.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) memainkan peran krusial dalam mendukungpengambilan keputusan yang efektif di berbagai organisasi, termasuk di lembagapendidikan tingkat pendidikan sekolah menengah kejuruan. Di SMKN 3 Sinjai,penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen akan membantu pihak manajemen dalammemproses data siswa, keuangan, dan kegiatan sekolah secara lebih efisien danakurat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana sistem informasimanajemen berkontribusi dalam proses pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat,cepat, dan berbasis data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu motode kualitatifbersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya sisteminformasi manajemen, para pengambil keputusan di SMKN 3 Sinjai dapat merancangkebijakan dan strategi yang lebih relevan dan tepat sasaran, terutama dalammeningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan administrasi sekolah. Melalui pemanfaatansistem informasi manajemen, SMKN 3 Sinjai dapat meminimalkan kesalahanmanusia dan meningkatkan transparansi dalam pengelolaan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of Mathematics textbooks published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for grade IV elementary school on flat geometry material based on Bell's criteria which include: suitability of mathematics material, delivery methods, physical characteristics of books, and instructions for teachers. The research method used is qualitative with content analysis that can be done using the concept of praxeology. Data collection techniques used are documentation and questionnaires validated by mathematics education lecturers and class teachers. Data collection was carried out with textbook suitability sheets based on Bell's criteria by considering aspects of material suitability, material delivery methods, physical characteristics, and instructions for teachers to two mathematics education lecturer experts and two teacher experts. The results of the study indicate that the textbook is generally included in the category of being suitable for use as a learning resource at the elementary school level. However, several aspects such as additional instructions for teachers, incomplete material summaries and alternative teaching strategies still need to be improved. This study is expected to be a reference in the selection and use of quality textbooks in mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for the development of E-Comic media on algebra material for third-grade elementary school students at SDN 1 Waringinsari, Banjar City, West Java. This research is motivated by the limited availability of learning media, particularly for algebra material, as well as the lack of learning tools that support the needs of Generation Alpha students, who are generally familiar with digital technology. Therefore, innovative learning media that align with their characteristics and interests are needed. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include interviews with teachers and students, document studies, and observations, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that there is no digital media or E-Comic available to support algebra learning. In addition, teachers expressed the need for innovative media to help students understand algebraic concepts, while students showed interest in visually engaging comics that are relevant to their daily lives.

Abstract

Education is an important means to develop students' potential, one of which is through reading literacy. However, students' reading interest in Indonesia is still relatively low, as shown by the PISA survey results, which show that Indonesian students' reading ability is below the average for OECD countries. At SD Negeri 1 Watubelah, a literacy program has been implemented, but the reading interest of grade IIIA students is still low. The contributing factors include lack of motivation, the influence of technology, and minimal reading support in the family environment. This study aims to describe the role of parents and their parenting styles on the reading literacy awareness of grade III students at SD Negeri 1 Watubelah. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included grade IIIA students and parents. The results show that the active role of parents in accompanying, providing motivation, and providing reading facilities at home can increase children's interest and awareness in reading. Democratic parenting styles have been proven to be more effective in forming reading habits in children compared to authoritarian and permissive parenting styles. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between parents and schools in building a culture of literacy from an early age.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the utilization of Chromebook media in thelearning of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) within the Merdeka Curriculum atState Elementary School 3 Karamat. This study employed a qualitative researchmethod, with two class teachers serving as the subjects. Data collection wasconducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The resultsindicate that the utilization of Chromebooks in IPAS learning has been well-implemented, aligning with the indicators for the science and social aspects, aswell as process skills. Teachers have effectively used Chromebooks to deliversubject matter, access digital learning resources, and facilitate interactive learningactivities. Although the utilization is considered good, several inhibiting factorswere identified. These include the limited availability of Chromebook devices,inadequate internet access, and a lack of sufficient training for teachers regardingthe optimal use of Chromebooks.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze in depth the factors causing difficulties in learning to read at the beginning of first grade at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Denai, as well as to describe the efforts of teachers in overcoming these difficulties in order to improve the basic literacy skills of students. This study was motivated by the low level of reading skills among most students, as seen from initial observations where some students are not yet familiar with letters, are still in the spelling stage, and are unable to read with proper intonation and comprehension. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach, which allows the researcher to examine contextually and in depth the symptoms and causes of reading difficulties. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, interviews with class teachers and parents, questionnaires, and documentation. The research subjects included 22 first-grade students, class teachers, and parents. The results showed that only 50% of students could read fluently, 23% were still sounding out words, and 27% could not read at all. The main findings indicated that reading difficulties are caused by internal factors such as lack of concentration, low motivation, weak reading interest, difficulty recognizing letters and spelling, as well as psychological factors such as low self-confidence. Additionally, external factors such as insufficient parental guidance at home, an unsupportive environment, and the use of inappropriate teaching methods also contribute to the low reading ability of students. Efforts made by teachers include dividing students into groups based on reading ability, providing special guidance, and applying global and syllable methods to help students gradually recognize letters, syllables, and words. This study concludes that improving early reading skills requires synergy between effective learning approaches, home environment support, and special attention from teachers to create a enjoyable and meaningful reading learning process for students from an early age.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of the school environment on students' interest in learning Civics subjects in Grade 3 at SDN 009 Padang Kunik. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The population used in this study was 7 students. The sampling method used was the non-probability sampling method, namely saturated saturated samples. So the entire population is the sample in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The research instruments were tested, namely tests (normality and homogeneity tests), descriptive analysis and hypotesis tests. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the regression equation obtained is Y = (310,565) + 2087X with a regression coefficient of 2087 and a T value = 1860, this indicates that each unit in the school environment will increase students' interest in learning by 1860 units. So it can be concluded that the partial T test research that is accepted, the partial T test is partial Ho is rejected and partial T Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the school environment and students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan hubungan antara pengetahuan siswa tentang program UKS dan peran sebagai guru PJOK terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat siswa di sekolah dasar, serta tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang program UKS dan peran guru PJOK terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat siswa di sekolah dasar.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data awal yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Siswa dan guru PJOK Sekolah Dasar Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara di Ungaran Timur adalah subjek penelitian ini. Metode untuk menganalisis data menggunakan korelasi. Hasil analisis dari uji hipotesis pertama menunjukkan bahwa harga r hitung = 0,753 lebih besar dari r(0.05)(12) = 0,576, yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara program usaha kesehatan sekolah dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat siswa di sekolah. Hasil dari uji hipotesis kedua menunjukkan bahwa harga r hitung = 0,607 lebih besar dari rtabel (0.05)(12) = 0,576, yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antaraPeran guru PJOK terhadap Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) Siswa Sekolah Dasar Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan siswa tentang program UKS dan peran guru PJOK terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil dari uji hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan bahwa harga F hitung 5,915 lebih besar dari F tabel (3,07) pada taraf signifikansi 5% Oleh karena itu, ditemukan bahwa ada korelasi yang positif serta signifikan diantara pengetahuan siswa tentang program usaha kesehatan sekolah dan perilaku bersih dan sehat siswa Sekolah Dasar. Selanjutnya, ditemukan bahwa peran guru pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan (PJOK) Dengan demikian, ada korelasi signifikan diantara pengetahuan siswa tesebut tentang program usaha kesehatan sekolah dan perilaku bersih dan sehat siswa Sekolah Dasar.
