Jurnal akuakulktur sungai dan danau merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diperuntukkan untuk bidang ilmu perikanan budidaya khusus tema kajian perairan sungai dan danau. Jurnal ini memuat artikel ilmiah hasi-hasil penelitian lingkup bidang ilmu perikanan budidaya yang dapat bersumber dari para penulis dari berbagai instansi. Jurnal ini dibentuk oleh tim redaksi Program Studi Budidaya Perairan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Batanghari bersama dengan tim mitra bestari. Jurnal akuakultur sungai dan danau diterbitkan sebanyak 2 (dua) kali dalam satu tahun yakni pada bulan April dan Oktober setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to observe the influence of papaya leaves added to the maintenance of physical and chemical parameters of water and the growth of gouramy. The method used in this study was an experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD) of four treatments and three replications. The treatments was use papaya leaves with different concentrations which were; 0,0gr/l, 0,5gr/l, 0,7gr/l and 0,9gr/l. The results of  analysis  of  variance  (ANOVA) showed that papaya leaves given  was  showed  significantly different for  the survival rate, wight gain, specific growth rate and feed  conversion  ratio. The result of the study showed that treatment C get the best results on each parameters with an survival rate of 91,67%, weight gain of 2,20gr, specific growth rate of 5,32% and feed conversion ratio of 1.17 and water quality parameters the temperature in the morning is around 25,7ºC, in the afternoon is around 28,2ºC, pH ranges from 4,8-6,4, DO ranges from 1,47 mg/L- 4,34 mg/L, and amoniak is around 0,16-0,26.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ovulation response on betok fish (A. testudeineus, Bloch) using the combination of the hormone hCG and hypophysis of broiler chickens, this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Where each treatment is given an injection dose: Treatment A: hCG hormone 0.3 ml/kg (100%). Treatment B: 0.225 ml/kg (75%) hCG hormone + 125 ml/kg (25%). Treatment C : 0.15 ml/kg (50%) hCG hormone + 250 ml/kg (50%) broiler hypophysis. Treatment D : Hormone hCG 0.075 ml/kg (25%) + Hypophysis broiler chicken 375 ml/kg (75%). Treatment E: Hypophysis broiler chicken 500 ml/kg (100%). The results showed that the fekundity was 30.552 eggs.

Abstract

Kegiatan usaha budidaya udang vannamei di Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan mengalami peningkatan yang baik hal  ini di dukung oleh teknologi  budidaya dari tradisional  ke intensif selain itu potensi sumber daya alam yang mendukung pengembangan usaha budidaya udang vannamei kedepan memberikan peluang baik bagi pengusaha dan pemilik lahan untuk membuka usaha budidaya udang vannamei baru. Pengembangan usaha budidaya udang vannamei di Kecamatan Pademawu berpotensi mencemari lingkungan perairan, karena Kegiatan usaha budidaya udang vannamei menghasilkan limbah dan limbah dibuang keperairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya dukung perairan untuk kegiatan usaha budidaya udang vannamei. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 16 April 2021 diperairan Kecamatan Pademawu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume air yang tersedia selama 1 hari di perairan pesiri pademawu 33.591.227 m3. Jumlah limbah maksimal yang dapat ditampung dalam bentuk TSS (Total Suspendet Solit) adalah  282 ton/hari. kegiatan budidaya udang sistem intensif luasan tambak maksimal 30.56 hektar dengan produksi 575.21 ton/musim tanam. Kegiatan budidaya udang sistem semi intensif luasan tambak maksimal 244.16 hektar dan produksi 624.31 ton/musim tanam. Kegiatan budidaya udang sistem tradisional luasan tambak maksimal 577.87 hektar dan produksi 450.16 ton/musim tanam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penambahan minyak sawit dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila(Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini dilakukan di BBI Thehok Provinsi Jambi Indonesia menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, perlakuan yakni penambahan kadar minyak sawit dalam pakan sebesar 0% (A), 3% (B), 6% (C) dan 9% (D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan bobot rata-rata ikan nila dari bobot awal sebesar 1,73±0,08 g/ekor menjadi 5,08±0,24 g/ekor di akhir pemeliharaan. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi yakni sebesar 2,79% (perlakuan C). Laju pertumbuhan spesifik terendah terdapat pada perlakuan B kadar minyak sawit 3% sebesar 2,67%. Nilai FCR berkisar antara 2,53-2,90. FCR tertinggi pada perlakuan B dengan kadar minyak Sawit 3% sebesar 2,90 dan FCR terendah terdapat pada perlakuan C kadar minyak sawit 6% sebesar 2,53. Nilai SR berkisar antara 92,08%-95,42%. Kualitas air masih berada pada kondisi layak untuk pemeliharaan ikan nila.

Abstract

Eel (Anguilla bicolor bicolor) rearing activities that develop in Indonesia generally still use a large volume of water. The application of a recirculation system reduces water requirements and at a small volume of water, the load on the container to accommodate water becomes lighter so that several containers can be arranged vertically. This study aims to determine the best water volume in eel rearing with a recirculation system on production performance. This study used a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications. The treatments, namely the difference in the volume of water (VA) used in the maintenance container, included VA 2.5 L (A), VA 3.5 L (B), VA 4.8 L (C) and VA 5.8 L (D). Eels were reared for 60 days in an aquaverticulture system with a stocking density of 10 fish per container. The test parameters in this study included survival rate (SR), specific growth rate (LPS), absolute weight growth (PBM) and feed conversion (FCR) and coefficient of final weight diversity (KKb). Other parameters analyzed include water and land use analysis. The results showed that aquaverticulture with multilevel containers on eel produced the best water volume of 5.8 L with high production performance (100% survival, specific growth rate 1.60%/day). The volume of water needed to produce 1 kg of eel for 1 year is 27.69 liters and the productivity of aquaculture land is 86.14 kg/m2. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this system design has been applied on a laboratory scale, but has not been applied commercially in the community.

Abstract

Hydrolytic bacteria are bacteria that play an important role in helping the digestive process of fish. This study aims to determine the hydrolytic activity of bacteria in the digestive tract of Nilem fish seen from amylolytic, proteolytic, lipolytic and cellulitic indices. The method used is exploratory and data analysis using parametric and non-parametric to explain the research data. Exploration carried out in this study included the total number of bacteria, proportion of hydrolytic bacteria, activity index of hydrolytic bacteria and molecular identification of bacteria with the best activity index. Fish were taken at random from fish farming ponds in Beji and Singasari with three fish each. The number of bacteria found an increasing pattern to the posterior intestine of fish from Beji and a pattern that varied between parts of the intestine of fish from Singasari. Hydrolytic bacteria were isolated from each part of the intestine from both locations which showed a decreasing pattern in each type of hydrolytic and intestinal tracts of fish from Singasari and varied patterns in the intestines of fish from Beji. The hydrolytic activity index showed a stable average value in each part of the intestine and the sampling location. Based on the best activity index, seven isolates were identified from three different genera, namely 1) Bacillus subtilis, 2) Enterobacter mori, Enterobacter cloacae, and 3) Aeromonas hydrophila (3), Aeromonas veronii. The bacteria obtained are classified as non-pathogenic bacteria that have potential in the field of aquaculture and normal pathogenic bacteria in the fish intestine

Abstract

Durian leaves have been used extensively to aid in the anesthetic process in various types of fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the immotilization capacity and stress response and survival of Tilapia under anesthesia. The RAL study design (4x4) was carried out with the durian leaf infusion treatment at concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6% and 8%. The fastest induction and sedation times were at 8% and 6% concentrations, which were 12.33 minutes and 13.35 minutes, respectively. The highest survival rate was at a concentration of 2% which reached 100%. Blood glucose levels increased due to anesthesia, ranging from 67.75 to 134.25 mg/dL

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of sweet potato leaf extract as an anti-stress in the process of transporting jelawat fish (L. hoevenii Blkr) fry. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 doses of sweet potato leaf extract treatment, namely; Treatment A : Sweet Potato Leaf Extract With 2 mL/L Water Dosage, Treatment B: Sweet Potato Leaf Extract With 4 mL/L Water, Treatment C : Sweet Potato Leaf Extract With 6 mL/L Water, and Treatment D : Without Provision of Sweet Potato Leaf Extract (Control). Each treatment was replicated 3 times. The test parameters observed were blood glucose, glycogen levels, and survival rates (TKH). The results showed that the administration of sweet potato leaf extract with different doses gave significantly different effects on blood glucose levels of jelawat fish fry. The highest blood glucose levels were in treatment D (76.00 mg/dL), followed by treatment A (34.33 mg/dL), then treatment C (33.33 mg/dL), and treatment B (32.50 mg/dL). ). For glycogen levels at the beginning (0th hour) of 130 mg/100mL, and increased at 8th hour (end) to 175 mg/100mL for treatment A, 155.21 mg/100mL for Treatment B, 188.34 mg/ 100mL for Treatment C, and 197.41 mg/100mL for Treatment D. The best survival rate in this study was in treatment B (90.33%), then treatment A (85.67%), treatment C (83.00 %) and treatment D (80.00%).

Abstract

Nursery culture of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is an important segment to support a comprehensive tilapia culture business. Requirements for business sustainability involve the high profitability of the company and high growth of the reared fish. This experiment aimed to observe the profitability aspect, fish growth, water quality, and culture techniques applied in a tilapia farm. The experiment was done using case study method, where Turbo farm, located  in Bogor West Java, was used as a model. The data collected involved primary data from field observation and secondary data from interview activities. The results showed that tilapia juvenile had a good growth, and that the water quality (temperature and pH) ranged within optimal range for tilapia culture. At stocing density of 2.000 juvenile per production unit in one cycle, the total production was 68.400 juvenile per year, in which 10% of the total produced juvenile were sold at size of 7-8 cm, while the remaining juveniles were at size 11-12 cm. Price of juvenile at size 7-8 cm was half of the size 11-12 cm, Rp 600 vs Rp 1.200 per juvenile, respectively. The profit of the business was Rp 43.989.000 per year with value of revenue/cost (R/C) ratio 2,29, and payback period (PP) 6,27 year. Based on the previously mentioned profitability parameters, the nursery culture of tilapia performed by Turbo farm was profitable. However, an efficiency of facility use was needed to increase profit and shorten the return on investment period.

Abstract

Comet goldfish (Carassius auratus) is a type of freshwater ornamental fish that is popular among the public and has the main advantage of having lots of color variations. The use of fish meal is the biggest obstacle causing the high price of feed and affecting the production of comet fish. The new alternative material to replace fish meal is silk worm flour (Tubifex sp). The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of feeding silkworm meal on the performance and survival of comet fish (C. auratus) fry. This research was carried out in February-March 2021 at Perum Yeyes Lestari, Kenali Besar Village, Alam Barajo District, Jambi City for 40 days. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications, the treatments included 15% silk worm flour (A), 20% silk worm flour (B), 25% silk worm flour (C) 30% silk worm flour (D). The test fish used were comet fish measuring 3-5 cm as many as 120 fish. The results showed that temperature had an effect on survival, absolute weight growth and feed conversion. The color of comet fish for all treatments at the beginning of the study ranged from 3.90-4.43 (golden yellow), while at the end of the study there was a color change that ranged from -2.14-2.83 (dark red). The highest SR was found in treatment A of 86.67% followed by treatment B 70.00% and treatment D 56.67%. The highest PBM value was found in treatment C of 3.26 g. The best FCR value was found in treatment C of 3.56. The results of the analysis of water quality showed that the condition of the culture media was still quite feasible for the maintenance of comet fish in the aquarium container.
