Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ball standing throw training on heading ability in soccer games. The method used in this study is an experimental research method with a pre-test-post-test design. The population in this study were all students who participated in extracurricular activities at State Senior High School 5 Kendari students totaling 25 people. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique, namely the entire population used as a sample of 25 people. The instrument used to measure soccer heading ability was the heading test. The training method used was ball standing throw training with a modified ball load. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique, namely the entire population used as a sample of 25 people. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen that the t-test value is 15.455 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that between the implementation of the pretest and posttest of heading ability in soccer games there was an increase in the implementation of the posttest using ball standing throw training. Based on the average pretest value of 7.02 and the average posttest value of 8.13.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the arm muscle strength and trunk flexibility of Kendari City swimmers relate to their butterfly swimming speed. The descriptive correlational research category covers this work. The study population consisted of 35 swimmers from Kendari City, 30 of whom were male and 5 of whom were female. Thirty male swimmers from Kendari City were the sample for this study because the sampling method was applied by utilizing the overall sampling strategy, which uses the population as a sample. Static flexibility tests were used to assess trunk and neck flexibility, butterfly swimming tests were used to measure butterfly swimming speed, and grip strength tests were used to measure arm muscle strength. The mean, standard deviation, mean, media, maximum value, and minimum value were all calculated as part of the descriptive analysis. Using SPSS 26, conduct regression analysis of normality, linearity, and correlation tests. Based on the results of data analysis, arm muscle strength and body flexibility of Kendari City swimming athletes correlate significantly with butterfly swimming speed (rx1,2.y = 0.669 > r(0.05)(30) = 0.361). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and trunk flexibility with butterfly swimming speed in Kendari City swimming athletes.

Abstract

Coronary artery disease (CAD) contributed to morbidity and mortality significantly in the world that is characterized by accumulation of atherosclerotic plaque within the arterial walls. Individuals with CAD often experience reduced functional capacity, lower quality of life (QoL), and elevated rates of depression This study aims to explore high-interval intensity training (HIIT) benefits in coronary artery disease patients. This study is a review literature that uses the existing database on PubMed and Google Scholar with the year 2019 to 2024 which specifically discusses High interval intensity training in coronary artery patients. The results of the study revealed that the benefits of high interval intensity training have an impact such as increasing physical capacity, namely VO2 and cardiovascular health and have a good impact on mental health. High interval intensity training is beneficial for people with coronary artery disease even though the first hour of exercise takes time for body adjustment. The implementation of high interval intensity training needs to involve professionals.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product in the form of a technology-based application to measure physical fitness test results. This research produced an application for measuring physical fitness test results. The study employed the ADDIE development research method, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 30 students from junior high school 1 Indralaya, consisting of 20 male students and 10 female students. The study was validated by three experts: a karate sports test and measurement expert (94%, categorized as very feasible), a language expert (82%, categorized as very feasible), and an application expert (97%, categorized as very feasible), using questionnaires containing various questions. The average result from these three validations was 91%, indicating that the application for measuring physical fitness test results in the karate sports branch is feasible to use. However, based on the statistical trial results, the normality test was 0.233, the homogeneity test was 0.118, and the independent sample t-test was 0.118. These results led to the conclusion that the application-based measurement of physical fitness test results developed in this study is valid and effective, making it suitable for use in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The Madiun City has a myriad of athletes, in this case basketball athletes. Both male athletes and female athletes are all mentored and trained. The purpose of this study was to find scientific data on the leg muscle power of male and female basketball athletes at KONI Madiun City. This research method uses quantitative methods with an experimental approach with a one shoot model design. The target of this study involved 10 male athletes and 10 female athletes. The test instrument used is the Vertical Jump Test. The results showed that the power produced by male basketball athletes showed a minimum power of 301 Joules, and a maximum power of 429 Joules with an average power of 365.47 Joules. While the power produced by female basketball athletes shows a minimum power of 169 Joules, and a maximum power of 255 Joules with an average power of 206.51 Joules. With the conclusion, in Men's Basketball Athletes there are 1 person in the excellent category, 8 people in the good category, and 1 person in the moderate category. Meanwhile, in Female Basketball Athletes, there are 1 person with a good category, 5 people with a moderate category, and 4 people with a less category.

Abstract

Football is a sport that requires high endurance. Activities on the field that require running fast carrying the ball or chasing opponents. The need for physical endurance training to play football well. Physical training can be divided into various forms. One of these divisions is based on the use of oxygen or the dominant energy system used in an exercise, namely aerobic and anaerobic training. The research method is a quasi-experiment that the quasi-experimental method is a research method that remembers that not all variables (symptoms that appear) and experimental conditions can be given full control and to find out which variables may not be fully controlled and controlled. The Two-group pretest-posttest research design compares two aerobic and anaerobic methods. The population and sample of the study were 20 Tanah Laut soccer players. The results of the study showed that the effect of aerobic training had an impact of increasing by 8%. While anaerobic training had an impact of 5% on increasing the endurance of Tanah Laut soccer players.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of a book about exercise variations of small sided games. The subjects in this study were 10 athletes for small group trials and 20 athletes for large group trials. The product in this research has been designed and then validated by 2 material experts, namely, a material expert, a hockey coach expert and an expert in small sided games hockey. The first stage of the trial showed that the results of the SGDH expert assessment were that a percentage of 81.29% was obtained in the very feasible category. Then the material expert trial obtained a percentage of 77.08% with the appropriate category. The expert trainer trial obtained a percentage of 79.16% in the feasible category. The results of trials on athlete respondents for small groups were carried out on 10 North Sumatran hockey athletes, where a score of 342 was obtained with a percentage of 85.5%, so the Small sided game hockey training product was in the very feasible category. The second stage of the trial showed that the results of the small-sided game hockey expert's assessment were that a percentage of 93.75% was obtained in the very feasible category. Then the material expert trial obtained a percentage of 91.67% with a very feasible category. The hockey coach expert test obtained a percentage of 89.98% with a very feasible category. The results of the large group trial were carried out on the Unimed hockey field where the total score was 718, with a percentage of 89.75% (Very Eligible).  Based on the results obtained in the initial group test, main group test and operational tests that have been obtained, training variations are carried out and small sided games hockey can be used.
