Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning toward the 4th grade students’ thematic learning outcome in group XIX of elementary schools in Bengkulu City. This research was quantitative research. The method of this research was quasi experimental with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The populations of this research were all of the 4th grade of class B students in SDN 71 Bengkulu City with 32 students into experiment class and the 4th grade of class A students in SDN 72 Bengkulu City with 30 students into control class. There were two instruments were used, the knowledge outcome learning test from multiple choice which given through pretest and posttest, while skill and attitudes were given through observation sheets. The data analysis method was descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite test analysis, and hypothesis test analysis. From the result of the calculation of t-test, t value was bigger than t table, with (4,89) >ttablel(1,67). The calculation of t value was higher than t table, it reveals that experiment class which used jigsaw cooperative learning could influenced the students’ learning outcome, it could be concluded that jigsaw cooperative learning influenced toward the 4th grade students’ thematic learning outcome in group XIX of elementary schools in BengkuluCity.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning achievement of fourth grade students at SDN 133 Seluma in thematic learning by applying the Make a Match type cooperative model assisted by ICT media. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were teachers and fourth grade students (17 boys and 16 girls) at SDN 133 Seluma. Student achievement data in this study used the average formula and the percentage of learning completeness. The results of student achievement in thematic learning cycle I for SBdP subjects the average grade of 69.24 with classical learning completeness 60.60% experienced a very good increase in cycle II with an average value of 82.12 and classical learning completeness 87 ,87%. Meanwhile, in the first cycle of Indonesian language subjects with an average score of 63.63 and classical learning completeness 57.57%, there was an increase in the second cycle with an average value of 80.39 and 81.81% learning completeness. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Make a Match cooperative learning model assisted by ICT media can improve student achievement in class IV SDN 133 Seluma in thematic learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the character formation of responsibility in scouting education extracurricular activities for elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive research with research methods namely qualitative research. The research subjects were scout groups in SD Negeri 08 Bengkulu City and SD Negeri 69 Bengkulu City. This research instrument using observation, interview and documentation guidelines. This research data collection technique using observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed through Data collection, Data Condensation, Data Display, Conclusion Drawing / Verification. The research aspect is focused on the activities of the opening ceremony of the Scouting for Community Scouts, the results of the study use 3 character indicators of responsibility: (1) exemplifies how to become good and proper ceremonial attendant to members of the scout movement (2) assigning duties to each scout member a heart- to- heart approach with thw practice girl. The conclusion of the study of responsibility character from those 3 indicatorc could lead to the character of that responsibility to the prescription- opening ceremony acrivities. Learners are responsible for assignments given by the patrons and can create good character responsibilities.

Abstract

This study aims to produce LKPD on Thematic Learning using a role playing model in class V SD Negeri Bengkulu City. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research by modifying the 4-D model by Thiagarajan and Sammel. However, this research was only carried out until the third stage, namely Develop (Development). Validation is carried out by RPP experts and LKPD experts. The developed LKPD was given a score and responses by 8 students. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis of expert validation assessments and student responses as well as qualitative descriptive analysis of comments from expert validation and student responses. This research resulted in the development of LKPD in thematic learning using a role playing model with assessments from LKPD experts in stage 1 of 78, 15 in good categories, in stage 2 of 89, 20 with very good categories and 90 student responses with very good categories. So, the research that has been carried out can be concluded that the LKPD uses the role playing model in thematic learning in grade V SD can be categorized as a very good LKPD and can be used in learning at school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Mind Mapping learning model and to analyze the increase in learning activeness and creative thinking abilities of students in Thematic learning for class V Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with students of class V Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong in the academic year 2020/2021 as the subjects; consists of 21 students, 9 male students and 12 female students. This study consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. The data collection was observation techniques, then followed by analyzing the data using a formula that is processed descriptively, namely quantitative analysis. The research instrument was an observation sheet of learning activeness and creative thinking ability. The results showed that the implementation of the Mind Mapping learning model had increased from Cycle I to Cycle II. It can be seen from the increased activeness and creative thinking ability of the students. The average result of the learning activeness of the students in the first cycle was 58.15% in the sufficient category, then increased to 79.19% in the second cycle in the good category. The average result of students’ creative thingking abilitu in the first cycle was 59.79% in the sufficient category, then increased to 77.14% in the good category. Therefore, the application of the Mind Mapping learning model can increase learning activeness and creative thinking ability for fifth grade students of Elementary School 171 Rejang Lebong.
