Abstract

Indonesian should be a very enjoyable lesson, but in reality, specifically for basic competence hosted the value obtained by the students is still very low, students are less interested, unmotivated, and many students who lack the confidence to perform actively in bringing the show. This study aims to improve the process and learning outcomes on the basis of competence hosted by the language properly and mannered by using modeling strategiesThis study was conducted by two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. In the first cycle of learning hosted students are grouped by 5 members of the student and is represented by one member to perform present and how to bring the show on the second cycle of learning hosted students who performed best in the first cycle as a model for the members of his motivation in order to dare to appear in individuals to obtain the value of the individual. To find out upgrades hosted then use observation techniques. Aspects observed in each cycle is the activity of students and teachers and the learning process.Results of the analysis of the data shows there has been a increase in activity and learning outcomes of students from cycle to cycle. In the first cycle 36% of students still scored below the KKM, and on the second cycle increased to 92% of students had reached KKM. In the first cycle students completed totaling 16 students (64%) and students who have not completed 9 students (36%), while in the second cycle students completed totaling 23 students (92%) and who have not completed two students (8%). The percentage of completeness of students in the second cycle increased 28% from the results of tests in the first cycle is the percentage of 64% to 92%. Ketidaktuntasan percentage of students in the second cycle decreased by 28%. Based on the second cycle indicators that the strategy applied modeling can motivate students to dare to appear as presenters, which in turn can improve the ability of pupils and students get good grades.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is for investigating whether or not there is a relationship between learning interest and learning achievement in the subject of art and culture for the eighth class students in SMP Negeri 2 Arga Makmur.The method used in this research isquantitative research, especially correlationresearch design. The subject of this research is the eighthclass students of SMPN 2 Arga Makmur in the academic year 2014/2015. The instument used in this research is a questionnaire about learning interest and a test for the subject of art and culture. The results of the research are analyzed by correlation analysis using Product Moment (Pearson) formula. From the result of the calculation, it is found that rcount is 0,758. It is higher than rtable (0,758 >0,423), thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypohesis (H0) is rejected. It indicates that there is a significant correlation between the variables.The value of r count is positive, it means that there is a positive correlation between the variables. As the result, it was concluded that there is a strongly significant and positive correlation betweenlearning interest and learning achievement in the subject of Seni Budayafor the eighth class students in SMP Negeri 2 Arga Makmur.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the performance of employees of PT.Bank Tabungan Pensiun Nasional. Tbk Cab. Bandar Jaya. Relation to the mattershow employees can work as well as possible and employees have a high motivation to finish the job with the incentives. Than, this studyaims to show the significance of the effect of incentives on employee performance.In analyzing the data the author uses descriptive analysis that shows the distribution of items of each variable, then the analysisis done by taking the results of the study and then entered into the statistical formula: Ttest or Thit and hypothesis testing. From the results of the questionnaire (questionnaire) distributed to employees of PT.Bank BTPN Cab. Bandar Jaya know that the independent variable (X) incentives with the item bonuses, commissions, and profit share significan and positive impact on the performance of employees partially in SMO and SMS PT Bank BTPN Cab. Abstract

Essentialism is a conservative educational philosophy which was originally formulated as a critique on progressive trends in schools. They argue that the progressive movement has undermined the standards of intellectual and moral among young people. Education must on the basic of the values that can bring stability to have a value system that is clear and has been tested by time. Essentialism principle requires that education is the foundation of the essential values and nature walks. Essentialism philosophical view about the study should be done with great effort, because the success of the learning activities carried out by someone because of a continuing effort without despair and stopped, because the essentialist view a persons success does not just arise in students. Asa philosophical principles of learning theory essentialism is the implication in the learning activities will alter the function of the school, the purpose of learning, the curriculum, the learning process, the role of educators and learners.

Abstract

Learning to write with a process approach not only gives the task of writing and assessing student writing, but also guide the learner in the process of writing. Process approach in teaching playwriting focuses on the process of producing a play. This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to write plays in learning Indonesian language and literature through a process approach in class VIII SMP PGRI 3 Bandar Lampung.This study includes classroom action research (classroom action research) data collection techniques preformance of this research are: Mechanical tests, observations, interviews, and documentation.Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that through a process approach can improve the writing skills of students in learning playwriting class VIII SMP PGRI 3 Bandar Lampung. Improved most increased is the aspect of the background and the text side, reaching 38.80%. This increase is calculated from prior to the action (initial test) to be taken first cycle and second cycle. While scores of students also increased. In the first cycle the average scores of students amounted to 80.88. This cycle has been an increase of 24.22 or 67% compared with the prior held the action / early tests. In the second cycle also occurs a significant improvement with the average final score of the students was 88.44. thus there has been increased by 7:56 or 21%.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yang berhubungan dengan model pembelajaran group to group exchange dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran group to group exchange terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas XI IPA Semester Genap SMA Negeri 2 Menggala Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Menggala yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah 44 siswa, sedangkan sampel diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 23, dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas control yang berjumlah 21. Sampel tersebut diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa penulis melakukan tes dalam bentuk essai sebanyak 5 soal yang terlebih dahulu telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus t-hit. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesismenggunakan rumus statistik t-hit diperoleh nilai t hit = 3,52. Dari tabel distribusi t pada taraf signifikan 5 % diketahui t daf = ( ) = 2,02 artinya t hit > t daf yaitu 3,52 > 2,02, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Group to Group Exchange terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas XI IPA semester genap SMA Negeri 2 Menggala tahun pelajaran 2015/2016”. Keadaan ini juga terlihat dari nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dimana kelas eksperimen mempunyai nilai rata-rata 82,22 dan kelas kontrol mempunyai nilai rata-rata 69,79.

Abstract

Novel “Salah Pilih” karya Nur Sutan Iskandar mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai budaya meliputi wujud kebudayaan sebagai suatu kompleks dari ide-ide, gagasan, nilai-nilai, norma-norma, peraturan, dan wujud kebudayaan sebagai suatu kompleks aktivitas kelakuan berpola dari manusia dalam masyarakat serta wujud kebudayaan sebagai benda-benda hasil karya manusia.Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu suatu metode yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah sekarang, mengklasifikasikan hasil penelitian serta mendeskripsikan data penelitian secara objektif pada novel “Salah Pilih” karya Nur Sutan Iskandar.Berdasarkan kajian teori dan hasil analisis yang dilakukan terhadap novel “Salah Pilih” Karya Nur Sutan Iskandar dapat ditarik kesimpulan antara lain : (1) nilai budaya dengan wujud kebudayaan sebagai suatu kompleks dari ide-ide, gagasan, nilai-nilai, norma-norma, peraturan dijelaskan dalam novel ini bahwa dalam adat Suku Minangkabau ketika perempuan dan laki-laki sesuku maka tidak diizinkan untuk menikah dengan keadaan apapun. (2) Nilai budaya dengan wujud kebudayaan sebagai suatu kompleks aktivitas kelakuan berpola dari manusia dalam masyarakat pada novel dijelaskan bahwa dalam adat budaya Minangkabau jika seorang laki-laki hendak naik ke rumah saudaranya atau kemenakannya yang perempuan, sebelum naik tangga ia harus batuk-batuk dahulu. Atau ia berdiri di halaman sebentar, sambil berkata kuat-kuat, sekadar terdengar ke atas rumah. (3) Nilai budaya dengan wujud kebudayaan sebagai benda-benda hasil karya manusia pada novel ini pada adat Minangkabau terdapat beberapa budaya berupa benda seperti bakul sirih. Bakul sirih adalah benda yang terbuat dari anyaman bamboo yang digunakan untuk tempat sirih berbentuk seperti kotak.

Abstract

Student‟s tenses matery is influenced by many factors. One of them is the technique which the teacher uses in teaching. The research applied Minimal Sentence Pairs in teaching tenses in the classroom. Then, it analyzed the result of the technique in order to know its influence.The research was conducted at the second semester of the eighth class of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung. The students of 8C was as experimental class that was taught by Minimal Sentence Pairs and 8D was as control class that was taught by Conventional Technique. The samples were taken based on cluster random sampling technique. To analyze the data, this research used experimental method by using t-test formula.The result shows that there is positive influence of Minimal Sentence Pairs towards students‟ tensen mastery at the second semester of the eighth class of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung. It is shown from distribution list with dk=78 obtained the tratio is t0.975 or significant level of 5% and tratio t0.95 and significant level of 1% equals to 2.00 and 1.67. They are smaller than tcal (t-test) = 11.86. The average score of the students‟ tenses mastery who are taught by minimal sentence pairs X1= 81.73 is higher than who are taught by conventional technique X2= 53.15.

Abstract

This research entitled “Slang Remaja ‘Ghana’ di Kota Kepahiang Propoinsi Bengkulu Suatu Kajian Sosiolinguistik” aimed to describe the slang expression form in Ghana community, to describe the forming of slang in Ghana community, to describe semantic meaning relation of slang in Ghana community, and to describe the function of using slang in Ghana community. This research is sociolinguistic research. In collecting the data, the researcher used listening method with recording technique, and interviewing method with noting technique. In analyzing the data, the researcher used correlation and distribution method. The result of the research is delivered informally. The result of the research showed that slang in Ghana community is in the form of word and phrase. The form of word is divided into five categories; those are noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, and numerals. Besides, the form of word is also divided into derivational word that includes reduplication. Slang in the form of phrase is divided into two categories; those are noun phrase and adjective phrase. There are three types of forming slang in Ghana community, (1) the forming of slang without any changed from the original words, (2) the forming of slang by using abbreviation, and (3) the forming of slang by using new words. The semantic meaning relation of slang in Ghana community is divided into five semantic meaning; those are synonymy, homonymy, polysemy, metaphor, and unidentified meaning of slang. There are five functions of using slang in Ghana community, (1) the using of slang for close relationship, (2) the using of slang for politeness or euphemism, (3) the using of slang for secrecy, (4) the using of slang for allusion and (5) the using of slang to express the feeling.

Abstract

One contributing factor in the success of the learning process is the use of teaching methods. One method that already exists but has not been used is the type of active learning methods plantet question. The problem in this research is the effect of the application of active learning methods plantet type of question on the results of the economic study from class XI, student of SMK Waskita Central Lampung Bekri school year 2014/2015.The author in this study using an experimental method, as well as data analysis using statistical formulas. The population in this study are all students of class XI SMK Central Lampung Bekri Waskita consisting of 2 classes the number of students 99 students, whereas samples taken two classes of grade XI AP 1 as an experimental class and class XI AP 2 as the control class by using the cluster technique random sampling.From the results of statistical hypothesis testing using t-test formula for normal data and homogeneous, the value thit = 6,08. From the t distribution table at significant level of 5% is known tdaf = t (1-1 / 2α) = 2.00 means thit> tdaf. It is hereby concluded that "There is the influence of the type of active learning methods plantet question the results of the economic study from class XI, student of SMK Waskita Central Lampung Bekri school year 2014/2015." Thus, the type of active learning methods plantet question a positive effect on students learning outcomes.
