Abstract

Essentialism is a conservative educational philosophy which was originally formulated as a critique on progressive trends in schools. They argue that the progressive movement has undermined the standards of intellectual and moral among young people. Education must on the basic of the values that can bring stability to have a value system that is clear and has been tested by time. Essentialism principle requires that education is the foundation of the essential values and nature walks. Essentialism philosophical view about the study should be done with great effort, because the success of the learning activities carried out by someone because of a continuing effort without despair and stopped, because the essentialist view a persons success does not just arise in students. Asa philosophical principles of learning theory essentialism is the implication in the learning activities will alter the function of the school, the purpose of learning, the curriculum, the learning process, the role of educators and learners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of principal's leadership and teachers’ work motivation on the effectiveness of learning in MTsN Bandar Lampung. The method used is a type of quantitative research that aims to test hypotheses using statistical techniques. The most basic data collection method is a questionnaire (questionnaire). The sample in this study is teachers at MTsN Bandar Lampung. Moreover, the data analysis techniques using simple correlation statistical tests and multiple linear regressions, the results of the study show: 1). There is the effect of the headmaster's leadership with the effectiveness of learning in MTsN Bandar Lampung with the effect power of 0.923 which is categorized as very strong; 2). There is a significant effect between teachers’ work motivation and learning effectiveness in MTsN Bandar Lampung with the effect strength of 0.949 which is categorized as very strong; 3). There is the effect of the headmaster's leadership and teachers’ work motivation together with the effectiveness of learning in MTsN Bandar Lampung because the value of r is smaller than the level used (ie 0.05) or 0,000 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of the implementation of Madrasah-Based Management on the discipline of teachers in MIN Kota Bandar Lampung. The method used is quantitative which aims to test hypotheses using statistical techniques. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The sample in this study amounted to 26 teachers in MIN City of Bandar Lampung. While the data analysis technique uses simple correlation statistical tests. The results of the research are that the better the implementation of Madrasah-Based Management will increase the discipline of Islamic Education teachers in MIN Bandar Lampung City. The strength of the influence of the implementation of Madrasah-Based Management on the discipline of Islamic Education teachers in MIN City of Bandar Lampung is 0.690 which is categorized as having moderate / moderate influence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept and comparison of the thoughts of Abdurrahman Wahid and Nurcholish Madjid regarding the concept of multicultural education from the perspective of religious nationalist thought. These two figures were chosen because of their popularity and their works as nationalist and religious figures in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods, based on literature study. The data sources consist of two, namely primary which comes from the works of the two figures in terms of its relation to multiculturalism, and secondary which comes from journals or research findings. Abdurrahman Wahid is of the view that in a multicultural context, Islamic education must vary according to each culture. Diverse education does not deviate from the goal, but an effort to achieve educational goals through various ways. Nurholis Madjid is of the view that multiculturalism is not only co-existence but goes further than that, namely pro-existence. The phenomenon of multiculturalism in Islamic education is not only seen as a reality that is only allowed to exist, but is something that must be developed for the good of life.

Abstract

The issue of Islamic education management governance in global education is the main objective of this secondary data review. To complete the discussion of this study, we have collected a series of data and literature on several data sources electronically in educational journal publications, book proceedings, and website databases that actively voice Islamic education issues in a global context. We cannot describe the data that we collect directly. We analyze it using various approaches, such as sharp evaluation coding and drawing conclusions that can answer the essence of the problems of this book review. The data we take online is as much as possible to look for the more up-to-date ones published in the last ten years. Finally, we can conclude that based on the findings and discussion data, among others, issues relating to the governance of Islamic religious education still leave problems and challenges, including the difficulty of achieving quality education due to issues of teacher resources that are still low in the mastery of technology that is still lacking. Straightforward access to education is still unequal, and issues related to leadership and school leadership in general education and the Islamic religion. We hope that these results will be a meaningful input in developing studies related to issues and governance of education management that will be held in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kampus terhadap kepuasan dosen dalam konteks pendidikan di UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, yang menggabungkan wawancara mendalam dengan dosen, observasi, dan analisis dokumen untuk memahami dampak lingkungan kampus terhadap kepuasan dosen. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana faktor-faktor lingkungan kampus dapat memengaruhi kepuasan dosen, yang pada gilirannya dapat berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan di universitas.

Abstract

Communication is important and an activity that cannot be separated from an individual. With good communication, it will have a good impact so that the goals to be achieved can be easily achieved. Communication is essentially the process of conveying messages between people, both in groups and individually. Interpersonal communication is the process of exchanging information between one person and at least one other person. This research aims to describe interpersonal communication in building relationships between madrasa heads and teachers. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Research data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. This research data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, while data validity testing uses source triangulation. The results of the research show that the implementation of interpersonal communication in building relationships between madrasa heads and teachers at MIN 5 Bandar Lampung shows that: 1.) Openness of communication between madrasa heads (plt) and teachers has been running according to its portion. The head of the madrasah (plt) is open and open, listens and is transparent with information. On the other hand, teachers are also open. 2.) The empathetic attitude of the madrasa head (plt) is good with his willingness to listen and respond to the messages conveyed by the teacher. Apart from that, he continues to try to show empathy when the teacher is feeling down. 3.) Support in developing interpersonal communication is good and is carried out through providing professional guidance, encouraging teachers to get involved in activities and open up. 4.) Positive attitude, in the madrasa environment we are used to greeting each other when we meet. The head of the madrasah (plt) builds closeness by establishing kinship, giving praise and rewards, as well as giving advice 5.) In equality, the head of the madrasah (plt) always strives to avoid differences by giving everyone the right to freedom of opinion and being able to adapt to conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the influence of work discipline, job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance. This research uses a population including employees who are actively working. It is hoped that this research can provide input to companies in managing employee performance, especially related to work discipline, job satisfaction and work motivation. The sample obtained was 80 respondents. The independent variables in this research are work discipline, job satisfaction and work motivation, while the dependent variable is employee performance. In this research, the instrument used was a set of questionnaires with likert scale which were then processed using the IBM SPSS version 26 application software. Analyzing the data that had been collected, used multiple linear regression. The partial research results show that there is a significant influence of work discipline, job satisfaction and work motivation positively on employee performance. Simultaneously, the results of research testing show that work discipline, job satisfaction and work motivation have a significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pemasaran dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan di SMA N 16 Bandar Lampung melalui pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif dengan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi sebagai teknik dalam mengumpulkan datanya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pemasaran melalui bauran atau strategi pemasaran marketing mix pada jasa pendidikan sebagai alat bantu taktis promosi produk keunggulan sekolah dengan 7P (process, pshycal evidence, people, promotion, place, price, and product) sudah berjalan cukup baik dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggannya di SMA N 16 Bandar Lampung. Meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik setiap tahun menjadi bukti dari pernyataan tersebut. Terdapat tiga unsur yang mendominasi bauran pemasaran dalam memberikan pengaruh pada kepuasan pelangganya seperti pada program unggulan bidang akademik dan non-akademik. Adapun biaya yang harus dikeluarkan merupakan pran serta masyarakat atau sumbangan biaya pendidikan dari hasil di rapat antara orang tua wali dan pihak sekolah serta sebagian biaya gratis yang di berikan oleh pemerintah. Lokasi sekolah cukup strategis terdapat di kota bandar lampung dan dekat perumahan.
