Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam tesis ini berisi tentang Semiotika dalam Kumpulan Kata Mutiara Mario Teguh”. Aspek semiotika yang dikaji meliputi ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan sistem tanda ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam kumpulan kata mutiara Mario Teguh. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif Data dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah semiotika dalam kata-kata mutiara Maria Teguh yang dianalisis berjumlah 30 edisi tahun 2017. Analisis dilakukan dengan tahapan mengapresiasikan obyek, membedah objek, menafsirkan arti tanda-tanda, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata mutiara Mario Teguh ditinjau dari sudut pandang semiotika sangat menunjukkan kategori semiotika, meliputi: ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Dari 30 kata mutiara yang dianalisis berdasarkan semiotiknya 12 di antaranya menunjukkan semiotika kategori ikon dan 7 di antaranya menunjukkan semiotika kategori indeks. Sementara itu, terdapat 11 kata mutiara Mario Teguh yang menunjukkan semiotika kategori simbol. Pesan-pesan yang disampaikan dalam kata mutiara Mario Teguh tersebut secara umum menunjukkan tentang kerjakan mulai dari hal yang paling kecil, suskses diusia muda, jadilah orang yang pandai mencari jalan, jangan bersedih, jadilah dirimu orang yang berguna, jangan hina pasangan, tentang kesalahan besar, jaga sikap hidup, berbicara yang sopan dan santun, cintai pribadi yang tepat, ambil hikmah dari setiap masalah, jadilah orang bijak, obat terbaik adalah jatuh cinta lagi, pentingnya kasih sayang, konsekuensi sebuah doa, keutamaan niat dalam setiap tindakan, iklas akan kekuatan tuhan, bersikaplah disiplin, jangan menyesal karena cinta, dan lainnya

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate whether or not peer correction had an effect in improving grammatical accuracy in students’ writing. The method used in this research was pre-experimental design, especially in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research was the second semester students of English Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2013/2014. The instument used in this research was a writing test. The students were taught by using peer corection technique. The pre-test was given before the treatments to see the starting score. After giving the treatment, post test was given. The results of the research were analyzed by using t-test for dependent samples. From the result of t calculation, t count was higher than t table (13.85 > 2.04). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypohesis (H0) was rejected. It also can be seen that the mean score in the post-test was higher than the mean score in the pre-test. In other words, there was a significant difference between the mean score in the pre-test and the mean score in the post-test. Therefore, it was concluded that there was a significant positive effect of applying peer correction technique to grammatical accuracy in students’ writing.

Abstract

Degradation of morals, ethics and character today continues to be a major problem among teens this nation. Every action and behavior that are not based on religious values create patterns of teenage life of the Indonesian nation increasingly unfocused. Gambling, booze, brawls, sex continues to take its toll, but the culprit it more and more so it is necessary to find the problem its grass roots to be resolved. The presence of a boarding school can be an alternative moral issues, ethics and character of Indonesian adolescents. Pesantren is a multi-religious educational institutions function, as well as educational institutions to transfer religious sciences (tafaqquh fi al-din) and the values of Islam religious boarding school as an institution of social control, and boarding schools as religious institutions who do social engineering or community development.

Abstract

Political education, especially in the concept of political culture for citizens who become first-time voters is a shared responsibility. In the implementation of democracy in Indonesia, particularly citizen voters should have the skills of citizenship is good to be able to channel their aspirations well.The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect is the formation of civic skills to the level of the political aspirations of a class XI student voters at Al-Kautsar senior high School in the city of Bandar Lampung. Methods This was a descriptive correlational study, this sample is a class XI student who has become a first-time voters in Al-Kautsar senior high School in Bandar Lampung, amounting to 68 people, the data collection techniques used is to test and questionnaire data processing is then performed through the analysis of SPSS statistical version of 17:00.Civic Skills affect the level of the political aspirations of the students, It is based on the calculation of the path coefficient ρ> 0 is obtained ρ2 = 0.703 with a significance above 0.485 and the significance level α = 0.05 level real thus significantly influential variables.

Abstract

Boarding School is the oldest Islamic institution in Indonesia which has a very important role in the dissemination and strengthening adherence to the Islamic community. But since when actually boarding school began to stand up, not known for certain, but researchers have found that in the 16th century boarding school institutions has grown. Among the researchers also differences of opinion about the origin of the term cottage and boarding school, some argue comes from within and some were of the opinion from the outside. Shelters, boarding school was originally taught about fiqh, tafsir, tasawwuf and classic books as characteristic of traditional boarding school, then along with the emergence of schools of renewal as the effect of advances in science and technology, it also affected the schools boarding school renewal, and this is a positive development Boarding School for it self. However, despite the affected schools boarding school renewal, boarding school never taught schools of radicalism / extremism, because the true ideology contrary to the teachings of Islam and Islamic proselytizing ways.

Abstract

Learning aims to improve students competencies. Learning objectives will be achieved if students understand the material being studied optimally. Therefore, appropriate learning models necessary to achieve these goals, particularly in mathematics. The learning model is selected learning model that can make students feel comfortable in the learning of mathematics, and the learning model chosen is Accelerated Learning. Accelerated Learning has five stages of learning, namely: 1) motivate the mind, 2) obtain information, 3) investigate the meaning, 4) triggers a memory, 5) show off what you have mastered, and 6) reflect on how you learn. Paper presented to the literature method to discuss how the theoretical description of the model of Accelerated Learning and how the learning strategy by using a mathematical model of Accelerated Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh prestasi belajarmatematika setelah dilakukan penggunaan strategi Information Search (IS)dan Learning start with a Question (LSQ). (2) mengetahui keaktifan pesertadidik terhadap penggunaan strategi Information Search (IS) dan Learningstart with a Question (LSQ). Sehubungan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitiantersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasinya adalahseluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung,yang berjumlah 1138 siswa yang tersebar dalam 27 kelas. Dalam penelitianini peneliti menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan prosedurundian, karena mengingat bahwa masing-masing kelas relatifmempunyai kemampuan rata-rata yang sama atau dengan kondisihomogen. Prosedur undian yang dimaksud yaitu mengundi dari kelasyang terdapat pada kelas VII dan yang pertama keluar dijadikansebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VII. F dengan 28 siswa dan yangkedua keluar dijadikan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VII. E dengan 25 siswa.Teknik untuk menganalisis data digunakan uji normalitas dan ujihomogenitas varians, dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis. Dari hasilpengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus statistik t-tes, diperoleh nilaithit = 6,62 dan dari total distribusi t pada taraf signifikan 5% diketahuit (11/ 2 ) (51)= 2,01.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran matematika kurang memenuhi kebutuhan belajar matematika siswa. Dalam proses pembelajaran kondisi yang diharapkan yaitu hasil belajar yang baik, guru harus dapat menciptakan suasana yang dapat merangsang siswa sehingga siswa senang dan aktif mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengengaruh strategi pembelajaran active sharing knowledge yang dikombinasikan dengan true or false terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII semester ganjil SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu membuat suatu keadaan dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi pembelajaran active sharing knowledge yang dikombinasikan dengan true or false. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester ganjil SMP Perintis 2 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 185 siswa yang tersebar dalam 4 kelas, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 47 siswa dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 46 siswa. Untuk menentukan sampel tersebut penulismenggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus statistik t-tes diperoleh nilai t hit = 3,65.Dari tabel distribusi t pada tarif signifikan 5% diketahui t( α) = 1,99, sedangkan taraf signifikan 1% diketahui t( α) = 2,64. Ini bararti thit >tdaf . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ada pengaruh strategi pembelajaran active sharing knowledge yang dikombinasikan dengan true or false terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Learning with Flash cards are the amazing way stimulates learning for children. Using flash card is a popular and effective learning technic, especially for preschool children. Flash cards are designed by standard measure for binginners. Using “see and say” method and matching technic, Flash cards teach basic concept, like color, shape, number, and letter. Even short poetry for children can be taught by using Flash cards. Repeating poetry and matching words and pictures in one learning activity make children to master some flashcards concept as a fun game.This research aims to know real, factual, accurate description about English learning process use flash cards for binginners MY DOLPHIN Christian School Panjang Bandar Lampung. Besides that it is to know How teachers present English learning, especially for English learning method uses flash cards for binginners, the application of flash cards in learning English, the way of English learning application uses flash cards.The research was conducted at MY DOLPhin CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Panjang Bandar Lampung using qualitative research design. The informan in this research was decided purposively, those are 2 teachers, 1 headmaster, and 3 parents. Collecting data tools were interview, observation and documentation. Analize data used Analysis Interactive Model from Miles and Huberman. it was done through collecting data, reducting data, presenting data, and conclusion.The results show that learning English uses flash cards for children under five suitable for research items used, like English learning design uses flash cards for children under five, 3-4 years, It has been done by teachers well and it is suitable for generic menu what government suggested. The results of children learning are written in the children development books.Based on conclusion above, Flash cards can be used students in Indonesia to learn English. So that by using flash cards English can be taught to students biginners easily. Keywords: Flash cards, accurate description, qualitative, standard measure.
