Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discovery learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. All VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Natar even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year as many as 209 students were used as the research population. The samples of this study were VIII E class consisting of 31 students and VIII C class consisting of 29 students selected by purposive sampling technique. The research design used was pre-test post-test control group design with class VIII E as the experimental class and VIII C as the control class. The data of this research is quantitative data obtained through student mathematical communication ability test. Hypothesis test analysis used in this study using t-test and proportion test. The results showed that the average gain data of mathematical communication ability of students who followed the discovery learning model was higher than the average gain data of mathematical communication ability of students who followed conventional learning and the proportion of students who had good categorized mathematical communication ability in the class that followed the discovery learning model was higher than the class that followed conventional learning. Thus, the discovery learning model is effective on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module for teaching procedure text by applying a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach and utilizing Canva as the design platform. The research focuses on enhancing students’ engagement and comprehension of procedure texts through interactive features and problem-solving activities integrated into the e-module. A Research and Development (R&D) method was employed, adapting the Borg and Gall model with stages of needs analysis, design, development, validation, revision, and implementation. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The e-module was validated by two material experts and two media experts, showing very good criteria in terms of content accuracy, instructional design, interactivity, and visual presentation. The try-out was conducted with junior high school students, where results revealed that the e-module was practical, engaging, and effective in improving students’ understanding of procedure texts. The findings indicate that the e-module supports student-centered learning, promotes critical thinking, and provides visually appealing instructional materials. Furthermore, the integration of Canva enabled the creation of a user-friendly and interactive learning resource that fosters collaboration and active participation. Overall, the developed e-module serves as an innovative and feasible alternative tool to enhance students’ ability in comprehending and applying procedure texts within real-life contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious maturity as a predictor of the consistency of students’ worship behavior at SMA NU Palangka Raya. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 35 students selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, and analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that the levels of religious maturity and consistency of worship behavior among students were categorized as high. The regression analysis indicated that religious maturity had a positive and significant effect on the consistency of worship behavior, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.861 indicates that 86.1% of the variance in the consistency of worship behavior can be explained by religious maturity, while the remaining is influenced by other factors. These findings suggest that religious maturity is a crucial factor in shaping students’ consistency in worship behavior. Therefore, strengthening religious maturity through religious education needs to be optimized in order to develop students’ religious character and sustainable worship habits.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of the management of Physical and Non-Physical Special Allocation Funds (DAK) and its impact on improving the quality of education in Indonesia across early childhood, basic, and secondary education levels. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on literature from 2015–2025 sourced from Google Scholar, this study identifies that DAK has significantly succeeded in reducing educational infrastructure disparities and supporting digital learning transformation. Although the budget absorption rate is predominantly high, management effectiveness at the school level is still hampered by delays in the issuance of Technical Guidelines, complex administrative bureaucracy, the low managerial capacity of financial managers (principals and treasurers), and the weak preventive role of school committees and supervisors. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the size of the DAK budget must be accompanied by the simplification of reporting regulations, systematic technical guidance, and solid digital integration to ensure transparency, accountability, and a real correlation to the quality of student output.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and suitability of educational curriculum innovation policies in Indonesia in preparing the next generation for the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision. Using a qualitative research method with a literature review approach, data were collected from various scientific literature and policy documents published between 2015-2025 via Google Scholar Labs. The analysis results indicate that curriculum transformation, particularly the Kurikulum Merdeka (Emancipated Curriculum) and the integration of deep learning approaches and artificial intelligence (AI), is conceptually aligned with the demands of 21st-century competencies (4C skills, digital literacy, and Pancasila character). However, field implementation still faces significant challenges, such as regional infrastructure disparity, teacher competency and adaptability readiness, and inconsistency in policy application. This study concludes that to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 target, a comprehensive evaluation, bottom-up capacity building for educators, equitable distribution of digital-based educational facilities, and holistic synergy among all stakeholders are required
