Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of company size, liquidity, and profitability on company value. The population in this study is the financial statements of food and beverage subsector companies listed on the IDX 2016-2019.The samples were determined using purposive sampling with a total sample size of 10 companies during a period of 5 years of observation so that the total sample was 50. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis method to determine the research method with SPSS application version 25.The result of this study indicate that the company size variable has a negative and insignificant effect on company value, liquidity has a positive and significant effect on company value, profitability has a positive and significant effect on company value on food and beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020.The results show that company size, liquidity, and profitability have an effect on company value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of CAR, FDR, BOPO, and TPF on the profitability (proxied by return on assets) of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in the 2016-2020 period . Data analysis in this study used a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection uses secondary data using a purposive sampling technique. The population is Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia and took 7 Islamic commercial banks to be used as samples. The sample has been tested using the classical assumption test and the analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis . The results showed that the independent variables, namely CAR, FDR, BOPO, and TPF simultaneously had a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely ROA of 82.3%. While partially, the BOPO variable has no significant effect on ROA, while the CAR, FDR, and DPK variables have no effect on ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of leadership and work environment on employee performance. The research sample are 102 employees of the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Tirta Kampar, Kampar Regency. Using the secondary and primary data, analysis method using statistics tool multiple linear regression The results reveal that leadership and work environment both partially and simultaneously have a positive effect on the employees’ performance. The result also show that directly effect of leadership variables and work environment on performance is greater than the indirectly effect of leadership and work environment on performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Usaha pimpinan perusahaan dalam mengembangkan karir karyawan pada unit-unit terkait memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan pencapaian tujuan pembangunan. Secara khusus, hal ini merupakan upaya dalam mencapai kesejahteraan sosial dan upaya dalam memberikan kinerja pelayanan publik terbaik. Untuk mencapai kinerja terbaik, pimpinan perusahaan diharapkan memberikan dorongan motivasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas organisasi sehingga karyawan dapat melaksanakan tugas sebaik-baiknya untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, pimpinan perusahaan harus memiliki karakteristik seperti keahlian tinggi dan ketrampilan, pengetahuan yang luas, bakat dan potensi yang baik, kepribadian yang baik, motivasi, moral dan etos kerja. Untuk mencapai karakteristik tersebut, pimpinan perusahaan harus mengembangkan potensinya dengan mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya. Penerapan disiplin kerja yang didukung dengan motivasi yang relevan dengan pengembangan karir karyawan harus terencana dengan baik. Penelitian ini meneliti dan menganalisis peran disiplin kerja, pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh motivasi kerja karyawan.

Abstract

The increase in the development of the expedition business from year to year requires companies to maintain competitive advantage in order to maintain product quality, relationship with partners, and improve company’s performance. The object of this study is a trucking company named PT. Sumber Djaja, which was founded in 1970, where they saw a decline in performance as time goes by. This study aims to see the effect of supply chain capabilities and supply chain flexibility on the business performance of PT. Sumber Djaja. The method used in this research is quantitative, with a research sample of 45 respondents using purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares method. The results of data analysis showed that supply chain capability and supply chain flexibility have a significant effect on business performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted to allocate Rajawali Mas family members into a fit job position based on Miner’s Entrepreneurial Personalities and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design. There are three participants chosen in this study, including the first generation of Rajawali Mas, the second generation of Rajawali Mas who join the business, and an expert in human resource management and family business. The questionnaire and interview are used to collect the data. The result of the study found that each family member who joined the Rajawali Mas business has different characteristics of entrepreneurship. Based on the Miner’s Test, Rajawali Mas family members possessed different types of entrepreneur route, such as the Personal Achiever, the Real Manager and the Expert Idea Generator, including a complex entrepreneur which is possessed by the CEO. Based on the MBTI, Rajawali Mas family member personality ranged to ISTJ, ESTJ, ESTP and ISFJ personality.

Abstract

The study of organizational culture is interesting because it deals with the uniqueness, the characteristics that distinguish one organization from another. Organizational culture is a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes an organization from other organizations. This system of shared meaning is a set of key characteristics that the organization holds in high esteem. Organizational culture is created by the "founder" i.e. people who have already been in the organization, where the culture becomes a tradition, an inherent habit, which is embraced by members of the organization. Culture relates to something of positive value, which is unique which is the character of an organization. Like the pattern of leadership, administrative tidiness, discipline, reward system, authority system, and many other cultures adopted by the organization. Therefore, organizational culture should make a positive contribution to organizational development, especially in improving the performance of an organization and individuals within the organization.

Abstract

Due to the rapid rate of business development, companies require a large capital by issuing shares to the public, where in 2020 COVID-19 brings a serious impact on the world’s economic sector. This study meant to investigate the effect of ownership concentration and warrants inclusion on the level of share underpricing during the IPO (Initial Public Offering) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 and 2020. The research population are entities registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and conducting IPO in 2019 and 2020, amounting to 107 companies. The method used during the selection of the sample group is the purposing sampling method. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The test results indicate that (1) ownership concentration has no effect on underpricing (2) the inclusion of equity has no effect on underpricing, and (3) Corona has a negative effect on underpricing. Abstract

This study aims to re-examine the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explain Millennials’ intention to continously use the e-wallet applications by using Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU). There were 140 respondents used as sample in this study with the provision of the age limit of 20-35 years, who have e-wallet(s) account and had been using e-wallet application(s) to perform payment transaction(s). Data were collected using questionnaire. This sampling technique used was purposive sampling method and analyzed using the SPSS multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this analysis indicate that Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness both have a significant effect towards Continuance Intention to Use e-wallet application(s) amongst Millennials. The findings of this study are important because it can be utilized as a foundation for e-wallet developers to improve technological systems with various features which focuses on enhancing consumers’ performance, furthermore this study is expected to encourage small and medium sized business to adopt fintech as one of the offered payment features.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Product Selection and Digital businesses on the Income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy. The government of Republic Indonesia also views the importance of the existence of MSME entrepreneurs. The existence of MSMEs can have an impact on increasing people's income and also with service innovations that can attract consumers. The method used is quantitative which is taken, it can be ascertained that t-statistics 6.453> t table 1.985 and the value of sig o.oo <0.05, indicates that the effect of product selection has a positive and significant effect on increasing the income of MSME actors. T-statistics is 5.568 > t table 1.985 and sig o.oo <0.05, this indicates that product selection has a significant and positive effect on increasing the income of MSME actors. While F-statistics 161,927 > from F table 3.09 and sig value 0.000 <0.05 this shows that digital business and product selection criteria have a significant and positive effect on increasing the income of MSME actors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
