Abstract

National Parks are regarded as having the best potential to provide for sustainable tourism development. National Parks management ideally brings together the concepts of conservation and that of recreational use with the objective of sustaining the natural environment.The specific objectives of this research are: 1) to study the development of tourism at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park; 2) to study the contribution and the local people involvement in tourism activities. The largest number of the park visitors was Indonesia. Only 10% visitors were foreigners, of whom almost were European. Most of the visitors were aged 35 or under. The most common motivation for visiting the park (Mount Bromo) was to recreation and study. Tourism at Mount Bromo is rooted in the community, that the Tenggerese are benefitting from the industry through their individual involvement in tourism related enterprises (ownership of tourism services such as horse, jeep and home stay), and they are able to resist the incursion of outsiders and the over development. The ability to profit from private enterprise, coupled with a strong local identity. Tourism at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (Mount Bromo) can be directly and indirectly beneficial to people’s economic, social and cultural welfare. What is interesting about the case is that the local people (Tenggerese) has remained the principal beneficiary of the direct economic impacts by retaining firm control over ownership of tourism services, and this appears to be the key element in ensuring their prosperity.

Abstract

The park’s in Ponorogo Regency, as Public Sphere, should be measured, how effective use, So it needs the studies. This research uses the method descriptive qualitative, to technique data collection of interviews and documentation. From the research the results showed, that: a park which is there are in kabupaten ponorogo a number of 6 (six), of bond issuance will be: the garden of Sukowati, a city park Singodimeja, state park Jeruk Sing, the garden of Wonopringgo, the garden of and useful for increasing the Seloaji, the garden of Pendopo, Was not effective known as of a garden, because many garden not have the concept of clear so they do not have indentitas local clear(miss identity), Lack of activity and also the spacecraft in the park made park is monotonous and less attractive, In addition there are lack of tranquility and comfort users because the park average are on main street., So that disturbed by activity motor craft. In addition the park is not in design with essentially and perfectly morally good, because there are a lot a park which is not having a place like (gazebo) or (joglo) as a barrier there awaits a mighty the rays of the sun and also the match winner the one hour heavy rain that every single time could possibly have happened. Of the existence of a park maximally while previous the if formed in the a day longer provided that with the concept of the Habermas, related to a public hal , made itself visible since its is still far away from the size of a room to lower the key how forbid that it should have a public hall no protector against god of inclusion of, the remembrance of public room which is there are in Ponorogo Regency is still in personal, because they have not been create a it cannot be built interactions among society in the Ponorogo Regency. While the concept of egalitarian societies have been fulfilled , its power because all men able to access the garden of them and they will come there is pressure to show off on doing ruts in a public hall reflected the bank sound assets.

Abstract

Bali has its own distinctive cultural diversity in which Hindu religion is its soul. The religion, customs and culture of Bali is an inseparable unity. The growing Hindu religion in Bali harmonizes with a local religion rich in customs and culture. The Hindu presence in Bali embraces the local religion. The arrival of Hinduism in Bali from both India and Java is accepted selectively and adaptively in the presence of religion and local communities. Balinese Hinduism already has an identity, a character different from India but essentially the same. In culture, Hinduism flourishes because it provides a religiously humanist space so that Hindu religion is flexible and universal.

Abstract

This study attempts to measure the ability of financial performance ratios in influencing stock prices. Ratios consisting of aspects of liquidity, solvency, and profitability activities include the current ratio, quick ratio, total asset turnover, inventory turnover, debt equity ratio and return on equity. Sample was 22 companies listed mining industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2007–2017 timeframe. Sample observations are compiled using the data pooled by combining time series and cross section. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used to determine the effect of independent variables on stock prices, then the results of the regression analysis showed negative effect on the current ratio of stock price although not significantly so the first hypothesis is rejected. Quick ratio, total asset turnover and inventory turnover has a positive effect on stock prices but not significant, while the debt-equity ratio and a significant negative effect on stock prices. Return on equity positive and significant effect on stock prices. The coefficient of determination showed only 44.1% of independent variables can explain the variation in stock prices, so further research is needed to explore other financial performance ratios that can affect stock price mining industry sector.

Abstract

The myth of Mayadenawa is an oral literature developed in Bali. Mayadenawa was a king in ancient Balinese times. The leadership of the Mayadenawa king deviates from the religious, cultural, and moral values ​​of society. Consequently, because of the contextual fear of the community, there is a sign that is reflected in the myth, about the situation of Anomi society. Psychologically, Anomi occurs due to factors of mental stress so that people are faced with the situation of all activities begin to deviate with the customs, traditions and ancestral cultures inherited in Bali. To reveal the Anomic factors that occur in the society of the mythical during the myth mayadenawa then, necessary analysis of the structure of each character who plays a role in the story. The naratologi structure of Greimas was done because, the theory was born from semiotic rectangles in this case, referring to the psychological semantics that occurred in society during the myth of Mayadenawa.

Abstract

Animated films are works of art that are always in demand by the general public. Not only children, but adults also like it. The amount of public that interested in animated films has made producers compete to produce it as a business field. In the future, culture-based animation films have considerable business opportunities. This was the evident from several cultural-based animated films that attract the audience, for example Mulan's animated film about Chinese legends, Kungfu Panda about Kung Fu culture, Upin Ipin about Malaysian culture, Adit and Sopo Jarwo and Knight Kriss about Indonesian culture, and Si Uma about Balinese culture . This study aims to analyze animated films that raise cultural themes, have sustainable business opportunities. Data is taken from visual analysis, observation and in-depth interviews. Visual analysis was carried out on several animated films and articles on the internet relating to animated films that were the object of analysis. Observations and interviews were carried out on the community in order to find out their opinions regarding cultural-based animated films. This study uses a qualitative method with an interpretative qualitative approach. The theory used is the commodification theory from Faireclough. The results of the study show that some animated films that carry cultural themes are of considerable interest to the public. There are several animated films including being able to reap the highest top 10 income. Not only the culture of the local community is used as an animated film, but also outside society who want to know the culture of others. Therefore, the business opportunities for animated films that raise the theme of culture are very promising to continue to be developed in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The decentralization politics that occurred in the era of reformation has encouraged the ambition of the ethnic identity politics which give a big contribution in the appearance of small kings in every region. Schmitterian explained that liberalization politics will activate the certain rights that be owned by each person individually and social groups and cover them from the cruel deeds or the third group. At the level of ethnic at least liberalization can be seen from the availability of spaces for every society to form their own community that can protect their rights, and also the decrease of the intervention of the nation in the political appreciation of every group.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the effect of fundamental factors of micro financial ratios including Rentability which was proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Interest Margin (NIM), Efficiency which was proxied by Operational Efficiency (BOPO), Asset Quality proxied by Non-Performing Loan (NPL), and Liquidity proxied by Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of general Indonesian banks that were registered to Indonesian Stock Exchange. A 5-year period, from 2011 to 2015, was observed by this study. Population of the study included 43 banking companies that were registered to Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2011-2015 period. Samples were determined using the purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis. Data were processed using the Eviews 7. Based on data analysis, it was found that partially ROA, ROE, NIM had a significant effect in CAR, BOPO ratio, NPL, whereas LDR had no effect on CAR. Result of Anova test showed that the value of F statistics was 9.061 with the significance of 0.000. The value of adjusted R-Square was 0.371, which meant that the ability of independent variable to explain dependent variables was 37.1%, whereas the remaining was attributed to other variables beyond the model of this study

Abstract

One of the marketing element that affect consumer behavior is the combinationof product management and promotion mix. Samsung is one big company that hasmany users and they are very loyal. But due to lack of innovation, then theloyalty of its users were also reduced. Kendari as one of the regionalmarkets in Indonesia surprisingly placed Xiaomi was in first rank in mobilephone brand loyalty for the first time. This is quite surprising considering Samsung is able to defeat the famous Apple that has a strong user base, loyal,and fanatical, but in fact, Samsung has a bigger share of the market. Thepopulation used in this study is the people who use Samsung products in Kendari City. This study the number of samples used is 120 people . Hypothesistesting was done by using indicators CR and P. Because of the 9 hypothesistested in this study have CR value above 1.96 or P value smaller than 0.05,Then all hypotheses tested reject Ho and accept H1. In other words theindependence and intervening variables have the effect of increasing thedependent variable if only the independent variables and the intervening canbe improved by Samsung product manufacturers.

Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is 1) What is the meaning contained in the form and motif and appearance of traditional cloth (weaving) in the Tolaki culture in Kendari City ?, and 2) What is the function and value of traditional cloth in Tolaki culture in Kendari City? The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method to provide an explanation of the function and meaning of Tolaki traditional cloth in Kendari City. Data obtained through direct interviews with research informants related to the function and meaning of Tolaki traditional cloth in Kendari City The results of the study found that the meaning contained in the culture and motifs and appearance of traditional cloth (weaving) in Tolaki culture in Kendari City were a) Wulele sanggula which meant defense sources, the good name of the country, the determination of leaders, prosperity of the people and justice / holiness. b) Pinelawa means the prosperity of the people, the main source of people's power in administering the government, c) Pinesewi or an alternative motive that means preserving the culture of the country's customs, d) Pineburu mbako which has continuous meaning, order and peace of the country and society, e) Pinetawawako which means protection. protect families and support the administration of government, and f) Penetobo which means courage. the husband's inspirers with oval trapezoidal motifs and sharp ends. While the function and value of traditional fabrics in Tolaki culture in Kendari City are as follows: a) As a dress used in dance dances at parties and life and traditional ceremonies. b) As a means of appreciation and giving to guests visiting the Tolaki area. c) As a means of valuing and giving in certain events and d) As a myth. tribal symbols are glorified because certain designs have their own meaning or meaning in the view of society.
