Abstract

Dakwah merupakan salah satu kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan bagi umat Islam di dunia. Dalam menyampaikan dakwah atau bersyiar, pendakwah harus memerhatikan materi-materi yang sesuai dengan Alquran dan Hadis. Selain itu, pendakwah atau da’i juga pelu memerhatikan penggunaan metode yang mendukung keberhasilannya dalam berdakwah. Tujuan penggunaan metode dakwah sendiri selain untuk menarik minat mad’u juga agar pesan yang disampaikan dapat lebih mudah diterima oleh mad’u. Lirik lagu sering menjadi metode ampuh bagi para penyair dalam mensyiarkan agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pesan dakwah yang terdapat pada lirik lagu Menyambut Lebaran karya Pendhoza. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat, yaitu dengan membaca dan mencatat lirik dan isi dalam lirik lagu Menyambut Lebaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesan dakwah dalam lirik lagu menyambut lebaran yaitu kewajiban menjalankan ibadah puasa di bulan Ramadan, sabar dalam menjalankan ibadah puasa, fastabikhul khairat, memperbanyak shalat tarawih dan membaca alquran, membayar zakat, menjauhi perbuatan tercela di bulan Ramadan, silaturahmi di hari raya, mengenakan baju baru di hari raya, saling meminta maaf dan memaafkan terhadap sesama manusia. Da'wah is one of the obligations that must be carried out for Muslims in the world. In delivering da'wah or singing, preachers must pay attention to materials that are in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith. In addition, preachers or preachers also need to pay attention to the use of methods that support their success in preaching. The purpose of using the da'wah method is not only to attract madam's interest but also so that the message delivered can be more easily received by madam. Song lyrics are often a powerful method for poets to broadcast religion. This research will describe the form of missionary messages contained in the lyrics of the song Welcome Lebaran by Pendhoza. This research is included in descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using the technique of reading and note taking, namely by reading and recording the lyrics and contents in the song lyrics Welcoming Lebaran. The results of the study show that some of the da'wah messages in the lyrics of the song welcome lenbaran such as: the obligation to carry out fasting in Ramadan, be patient in fasting, fastabikhul khairat, increase tarawih prayers and read the Koran, pay zakat, avoid disgraceful acts in Ramadan, hospitality in the day Raya, wearing new clothes on holiday, apologizing to one another and forgiving fellow human beings, etc.Kata Kunci: Dakwah, Lirik Lagu, Pendhoza

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana proses penyembuhan gejala kejiwaan melalui intervensi psikologi Islam. Menurut data yang dikeluarkan Riskesda pada tahun 2013, menunjukkan bahwa provalensi gangguan mental emosional, yang ditunjukkan dengan gejala-gejala depresi dan kecemasan untuk usia 15 tahun ke atas yang mencapai sekitar 14 juta orang atau 6% jumlah dari penduduk Indonesia sedangkan prevalensi gangguan jiwa berat, seperti skizofrenia mencapai sekitar 400.000 orang atau sebanyak 1,7 per 1.000 penduduk ini menunjukkan betapa tingkat depresi di Indonesia sangat tinggi dan membutuhkan penanganan yang serius. Artikel ini menggunakan jenis penelitian berbasis studi literatur yang dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data dan dokumentasi, dengan teknik analisis menggunakan reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan dan melalui praksis kepustakaan mulai dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, e-book, internet dan berbagai fakta yang ada,  Hasil dan pembahasan bahwa Psikoterapi Islam dinilai mampu untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu terapi yang sangat efektif terhadap gangguan kejiwa yang ada pada seorang klien. Tujuan dari psikoterapi tersendiri yakni untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup manusia baik secara fisik maupun psikis, sehingga mampu menurunkan tingkat kecemasan yang tinggi menjadi memiliki perasaan yang tenang dengan hadirnya Tuhan sebagi pemberi penyembuhan. Adapun terapi yang dilakukan dibedakan menjadi beberapa macam terapi di antaranya terapi yang berbasis ibadah dan terapi yang berbasis akhlak. Terapi yang berbasis ibadah meliputi dzikir, do’a, membaca/memahami al-Qur;an, sholat, puasa, zakat, dan haji. Terapi yang berbasis akhlak yakni ikhlas, ridha, syukur, qanaah, sabar, pemaaf, husnudzon, tawakal, muhasabah, dan tafakur. This article examines the process of healing psychiatric symptoms through the intervention of Islamic psychology. According to data released by Riskesda in 2013, it shows that the prevalence of emotional mental disorders, as indicated by symptoms of depression and anxiety for the age of 15 years and over, reaches around 14 million people or 6% of the population of Indonesia while the prevalence of severe mental disorders, such as schizophrenia reaches around 400,000 people or as many as 1.7 per 1,000 population this shows how the level of depression in Indonesia is very high and requires serious treatment. This article uses a type of research based on literature studies conducted through data collection and documentation, with analysis techniques using data reduction and drawing conclusions and through the praxis of literature ranging from books, scientific journals, e-books, the internet and various available facts, results and discussion that Islamic psychotherapy is considered capable of being used as one of the most effective therapies for psychological disorders in a client. The purpose of psychotherapy alone is to improve the quality of human life both physically and psychologically, so as to reduce the high level of anxiety to have a calm feeling in the presence of God as a giver of healing. The therapy is divided into several types of therapy including worship-based therapy and moral-based therapy. Worship-based therapy includes dhikr, prayer, reading/understanding of the Qur'an, prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and pilgrimage. Moral-based therapy that is sincere, happy, thankful, qanaah, patient, forgiving, husnudzon, tawakal, muhasabah, and tafakur.Kata Kunci: Psikoterapi Islam, Ibadah, Akhlak

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, kemunculan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi seperti internet membuka peluang baru untuk pengembangan dan proses penyebaran pesan-pesan dakwah. Internet dipandang sebagai ruang virtual yang mampu menyebarkan pesan dakwah secara efektif, mudah diakses, cakupan wilayah yang luas dan waktu yang tidak terbatas. Hal ini memunculkan wacana cyberdakwah, yakni sebuah aktifitas amar ma’ruf nahi munkar dengan menggunakan media internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis literatur yang didapatkan baik dari buku, jurnal dan sumber lainnya yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena cyberdakwah secara teoritik dipandang sebagai metode kontemporer dalam penyebaran pesan dakwah. Secara praktik, penggunaan media internet sebagai media baru dalam dakwah Islam membuka peluang untuk menyebarluaskan pesan-pesan dakwah secara masif dan signifikan. Dampak penelitian diharapkan mampu menjawab berbagai tantangan atas beberapa permasalahan cyberdakwah di Indonesia.In the era of globalization, the emergence of information and communication technologies such as the internet opens new opportunities for the development and dissemination of propaganda messages. The internet is seen as a virtual space that can spread the message of preaching effectively, easily accessible, wide area coverage and unlimited time. This raises the discourse of cyberdakwah, which is an activity of the amar ma'ruf nahi munkar which uses internet media. This study uses a qualitative approach through the analysis of literature obtained both from books, journals, and other relevant sources. The results showed that the phenomenon of cyber-dakwah theoretically was seen as a contemporary method in spreading the message of da'wah. In practice, the use of internet media as new media in Islamic da'wah opens opportunities to disseminate da'wah messages massively and significantly. The impact of the research is expected to be able to answer various challenges over several issues of cyber propagation in Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Cyberdakwah, Internet, Media Baru.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan penafsiran Surat al-Mumtahanah yang berkaitan dengan sikap Ibrahim kepada kaum dan bapaknya yang tidak mengindahkan dakwah beliau. Adapun latar belakang penulisan ini adalah semakin meningkatnya pandangan buruk terhadap Islam yang dianggap menciptakan umat yang radikal, atau yang diistilahkan dengan islamophobia. Munculnya istilah radikal atau islamopobia disebabkan oleh pemahaman terhadap beberapa ayat al-Qur’an yang dianggap melegalkan kekerasan, salah satunya adalah surat al-Mumtahanah ayat empat. Oleh karenanya, perlu ada upaya reinterpretasi atau penafsiran ulang terhadap ayat-ayat tersebut yang lebih cenderung kepada nilai kedamaian sebagai nilai universal yang diusung oleh Islam. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode kontekstualisme yang diusung Abdullah Saeed dalam menelaah kembali makna surat al-Mumtahanah ayat empat. Metode ini mencoba menarik kembali makna ayat al-Qur’an dengan melihat makro konteks pertama yaitu kondisi ketika wahyu turun dan makro konteks pertama yaitu masa sekarang dengan penghubung konteks yang diwakili oleh karya-karya tafsir tiap zaman. This paper aims to explain the interpretation of Surat al-Mumtahanah relating to the attitude of Ibrahim to his people and fathers who did not heed his preaching. The background of this writing is the increasing negative view of Islam which is considered to create a radical community, or termed Islamophobia. The emergence of the term radical or Islamopobia is caused by an understanding of some verses of the Koran which are considered to legalize violence, one of which is Surah al-Mumtahanah verse four. Therefore, there needs to be an effort to reinterpret or reinterpret these verses which are more inclined to the value of peace as a universal value carried by Islam. In this paper, the author uses the contextualism method carried by Abdullah Saeed in re-examining the meaning of verse al-Mumtahanah verse four. This method tries to pull back the meaning of the verses of the Koran by looking at the first context macro which is the condition when revelation comes down and the first macro context is the present with the connecting context represented by interpretive works of each age.Kata Kunci: Interpretasi, Kontekstualisme, Islamophobia, Abdullah Saeed

Abstract

This study was aimed at describing  to  the assimilation of Islamic culture with  Mongols at  early of the Hulagu Khan reign and the  Islamic civilization atmoshpere during Ilkhan Dynasty under the Mongol Muslim rulers. This study applied historical research method using library approach. The study applied four stages of historical research namely data collection, verification, interpretation, and historical writing. The analysis confirmed that, tirst, the Mongol invasion of the Abbasid dynasty did not cause Muslims lose their Islamic identity. On the contrary, Islamic civilization, then, influenced the life of Mongols at that time. At the same time, although the territory was controlled by  Mongols, Muslims contributed a very important role in government from early period of power until the end of Ilkhan Dynasty. Second, the freedom to embrace religion and the authority given by Mongol to Muslims in ruling the government enabled for Muslim to spread out Islamization during Ilkhan Dynasty. This Islamization was further strengthened by the kings of Ilkhan dynasty who later converted to Islam. Abstract

Religion is a belief system that regulates all the behavior of its adherents to realize relationships between humans in social context through spiritual values that always direct humans to will and act based on goodness by involving the analysis of reason to determine good and bad in accordance to religious orders, that each individual can avoid lust and emotions in him that describe animal behavior. Inevitably, individuals different from animal behaviors depict spiritual values in belief system trying to humanize each individuals. However, people's behavior in religious belief system in the contemporeries did not match the facts of reality. Because, every religious community creates an inclusive attitude among the various adherents of religions based on the narrow perception of humans to address differences in social contexts. As a result, every individual sees behaviors of other groups as something bad, they must be destroyed in the social environment. In order to overcome the problems that occur within the scope of religious communities, this paper aims to examine the Hikmah Muta’aliyah of Mulla Sadra to understand the behavior of religious adherents  and provide solutions to ethical crises in this Contemporary time by using qualitative methodology resulting in the conclusion that the Hikmah Muta’aliyah of Mulla Sadra emphasizes the perception of reasons in presenting universal knowledge, that each individual can think openly to respond variety of differences. Accomodative thinking will create values of tolerance and humanity in the contexts of religion, that each individual can build harmonious relationship between fellow humans.Keyword : Religion, Behavior, Hikmah Muta’aliyah

Abstract

This study attempted to determine the value of the Islamic work ethic of At-Taqwa Wonokromo Pleret Bantul prayer groups and taklim prayer groups after attending the Fatihah zikr. This study belonged to qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected in three ways, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The finding revealed that consistency on practicing zikr can contribute to the establishing and strengthening the work ethic of each individual. At this level the Al-Fatihah zikr practiced by the followers of At-taqwa prayer group  influenced for increasing the work ethic of the followers of the Fatihah zikr. Specifically there were six values of the Islamic work ethic existed, namely working for worship, responsibility for work, motivation at work, always grateful for favors, optimism and positive thinking, and sincere values.Keyword : Work Ethic, Zikr, Al-Fatihah.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the meaning, current state, challenges, and projection of the Islamic center of West Nusa Tenggara Province of Indonesia as the center of civilization. The scope of the study is all fields of civilization ranging from spiritual, education, social services, economic to public policies domain. This scope is referring to what Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him did with an-Nabawi grand mosque in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah as the center of the first generation of Muslims’s life starting from private to public life. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach as a paradigm. As a conclusion, it could be said that this Islamic center has been completing landscape of Lombok Island as an island of thousand mosques, proofing compatibility of Islam with modernity, promising the wider and more important roles of the center to recall Islamic civilization as the machine of Muslims movement at all aspects of life and contribute to building a better world for all human beings all over the world.Keyword : Mosque, Islamic Centre, Islamic Civilization.

Abstract

This article focused on studying the socio-political history of Arabia from Roman-Persian hegemony to the rise of Islamic Arabs. The study was motivated by the historical disintegration developed among academics. History was understood in a variety of ways without clear accentuation of the developing storyline. Previous studies did not explain in detail about the social-political history of Arabia. In this way, it was necessary to re-emerge Arab social-political history with different perspectives, methods and systematic discussion, so that it was interesting to read. In this article, the author used the method of biographical and bibliographic history, a method that analyzed the nature, character, and influence of a civilization to then, it was interpretd and generalized the historical facts that surround it. The data sources were obtained from books on Arab and Islamic history, such as the book History of the Arabs by Philip K. Hitti, Ali Jawwad's Arabic History before Islam, Sirah Nabawiyah by al-Buthy, History of the Islamic Society by Hamka. The results indicated that the Arabs had a hard character, independent, solidarity, and royality towards their groups. Arab social-political atmosphere were colored by political intrigue over the struggle for influence between the three major powers of the world at that time, namely Roman, Persian, and South Arabian kingdoms under the rule of the Himyar dynasty. The rise of Arabia was marked by the birth of Islam in Hijaz. Arabic when Islam was born had great influence and civilization in the economic, social, political, cultural and scientific fields.Keyword : Socio-Political, Roman-Persian, Arab Nation

Abstract

This study attempted to analyze the process of communication and socio-cultural acculturation, especially local society with Muslims at the border. This research was qualitative using a naturalistic paradigm, with a phenomenological approach. Data were obtained through three ways, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research method was a case study. The analysis revealed that, first, acculturation in border society occured because there  were five aspects  affecting it such as increasing population, increasing levels of education, easy and free access to economy, attractions and socio-cultural heterogeneity at the border. The existence of these factors contributed greatly to the reconstruction of the social order of border society. The process of dialectics and communication between cultures of local society and Muslims was bound to make the acculturation process between the two or vice versa. Based on the field findings, there were at least two forms of acculturation process, namely culutural cover and overt cultural. Second, the form of acculturation had two major influences on the local society in particular and the migrant society in general both negative and positive influences. Negative influences included the declining local culture, which began to diminish and traditional lifestyles beginning to change more modern. Meanwhile, positive influences included more practical methods of farming to support local society life, ways of thinking that were more advanced and developing, and more modern lifestyles. As for the acculturation process, it emerged several cultures. Among of them were to create new cultures, such as farming culture, lifestyle, and knowledge. There were also those who maintained the existence of each cultural substance such as language, values and innate norms inherent in the element of origin of culture. Also, it eliminated the culture existed between the two cultures, both the local people culture and the newcomers culture including the way of life from the traditional farming patterns to being more modern.Keyword : Acculturation, Communication, Border Society
