Abstract

This study examines the negotiation in the management Pendas Program according to the theoretical perspective of Negotiated Order Anselm Strauss, especially the negotiated order that occurs in the implementation of the program between the manager and the students in Ponorogo, Madiun, Ngawi East Java. The management implements an independent system, the learning group must play an active role in fulfilling the obligations of the UT program. Funds from UT funding are not sufficient for school building rental costs. In order for the conduct to take place well, the managers and students entered into agreements for management fees outside of the financing contained in the UT. This research uses qualitative method, data retrieval with observation, interview, and documentation with research subject that is student, manager of study group. While the data analysis using Miles and Hubermann theory with the steps of Data Collection, Reduction, Display, Conclution. Results show that between students and Pokjar an agreement is reached with additional financing for the smoothness of the activities and the feasibility of additional services beyond the UT policy. This agreement has consequences for additional costs to be incurred by students for these purposes by obtaining good service. Partial obstacles come from students who have a different understanding with most UT students and pokjar executives as well as Tutor UT. Constraints can be overcome and resolved well with negotiated order.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model to the activity and results of cognitive learning math for grade V students of primary school number 2 Sintang, in academic year 2017/2018. It is Quantitative research method. The form of research is quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. In collecting the data the researcher used measurement, direct observation, observation, indirect and the study documentation techniques.  After analyzing, it was known that activities data amount of 83% the category very high pretest and posttest data and experimental class counted statistically using t-test, with a = 0.05 and dk n1 + n2 - 2 then obtained tcount> ttable = 18,178 > 2,074 it is mean Ha received and Ho rejected.  The conclusion of the research is the learning model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) can increase the activity and the result of learning mathematics.

Abstract

Tujuan peneltian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses menghapal Al-Qur’an yang baik untuk anak-anak. Dengan banyaknya manfaat bagi anak yang sudah hapal Al-Qur’an, banyak metode bermunculan untuk membantu memudahkan hapalan anak. Penggunaan metode talaqqi merupakan metode yang dipraktekkan langsung oleh Rasulullah ketika menerima wahyu, juga dipraktekkan oleh Rasulullah ketika menyampaikan wahyu kepada para sahabat dan juga generasi setelahnya. Maka metode talaqqi merupakan metode lawas yang sudah terbukti mencetak generasi para penghapal al-Qur’an

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the liveliness of students of Prodi S1-PGSD Universitas Terbuka Surabaya study group Bojonegoro. In the first cycle In the implementation phase of the improvement of learning cycle I, only 58.3% of students who have active learning is not successful. There are still some students who do not have activeness in learning so that the results of learning also can not be said either. In cycle II the lecturer modifies the concept map created. In addition, the lecturer also adds the final discussion of the material. With this activity there is an increase of student activeness that is 83,3% of students who have activity and influence on student learning value which increase

Abstract

Tujuan  dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak emosional quotient (EQ) terhadap akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Al-Washliyah Tanjung Morawa dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 51 siswa. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen utama yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket dan instrumen penunjang adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emosional quotient berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap akhlak siswa MIS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Morawa berada pada interval 0,600 sampai dengan 0,800 sehingga masuk pada kategori cukup

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of learning tools based on process skills to improve critical thinking skills in terms of students academic ability. The population of the research was students of Al Kautsar Elementary School in Pasuruan class V grade with a sample of 90 students, divided into categories of upper academic skills students, middle-academic skills students, and lower academic skills students. The results show that the average increase in critical thinking skills is different in every academic skills of students. In the upper academic skills students showed an average yield of N-Gains of 0.8 with a high increase category. In midle academic skills students showed an average yield of N-Gains of 0.7 with moderate improvement category. In lower academic skills students show the average N-Gains 0,5 result with moderate improvement category. The skill-based learning process will be more effective in improving critical thinking skills when applied to students with upper academic skills. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is skill-based learning tool process effectively improve students critical thinking skill. However, skills-based learning process more effectively can improve students critical thinking skills with upper academic skills.

Abstract

Telah banyak penelitian makroskopik dan mikroskopik dalam pembelajaran fisika. Salah satu materi yang jarang di eksplor untuk melihat representasi internal mahasiswa adalah konveksi pada air dalam konteks makroskopik dan mikroskopik. Tulisan ini memberikan sesuatu yang baru yang jarang diceritakan pada penelitian sebelumnya. Mahasiswa akan dipetakan dalam tipe representasi internal yaitu tipe naif (N), surface (S), matching (M) dan deep (D). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa dengan model PBL. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, maka PBL dapat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa dan mengurangi miskonsepsi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat cenderika dapat mengadopsi pembelajaran yang ada untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

This article presents the findings of community service program conducted by UPBJJ-UT Surabaya for teachers in fiscal year 2017. This program includes the efforts to improve the quality of education, and public welfare. Based on the analysis with the teacher partner, the community service focuses on “The training of using social media-based e-learning “edmodo” on teachers of Sekolah Dasar Negeri Mulyorejo I Surabaya” This program was held in six months during June-November 2017 and started by some steps such as: planning, preparation, and implementation. The findings of this program can be obtained through the evaluation process, the products, and the participants’ responses toward the implementation of Edmodo by conducting the satisfaction questionnaire. It can be concluded that the teachers partner are very enthusiastic and interested in participating this training.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper describes the effect of CASE program to elementary student cognitive development. The study used a sequential explanatory design with the quantitative data collection in the first phase followed by collection of qualitative data in the second phase. Participants were 70 year 5 elementary school (ages 10-12) students. Quantitative data were collected by Scientific Reasoning Skill Tasks administered to all of participants both before and after intervention. Qualitative data included interviews with the five participants from CASE group and four participants from control group. Over 3 month period, students from the intervention group had higher mean gain (mean RGS = 4.4) compared with control group (mean RGS = 0.1). The qualitative data indicated CASE program were very effective because students motivation and regulation increased siginficantly after the intervention. Moreover, teacher developed more specific strategy to enhance students cognitive ability. To sum up, CASE program was a worthwhile intervention for Indonesian school especialy on elementary level students.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to examine whether there are differences in terms of effectivity in the learning experiences on thematic learning in fourth grade. The research was conducted at SD Regina Caeli, Bogor. The type of research is a quasi experiment with the nonequivalent control group design. Data was collected through administering pretest and posttest in experiment group 1 using learning experience of reading, listening, watching video and experiment group 2 using learning experience of discussion, presentation, and role playing. The collected data was analyzed through scoring, converting, determining average, determining frequency distribution, and comparising the mean. The hypothesis test was analyszed using independent t test. The result of the research showed that there was a significant difference of effectiveness. The result showed tcount = 2,219> ttable = 2,005 in which the post-test score in the two groups were compared. The result indicated H0 was rejected. The effectiveness as indicated by comparing the pre-test and post-test score in the experiment group 2 with learning experience of discussion, presentation, and role playing showed t-test scored 3,316 which was higher thanthe ttable 2,005. It indicated that H0 was rejected. It can also be seen that the improvement of learning experience through the learning outcomes in the control class was 18.53 point from the mean pretest 56.79 and the postest 75.32. While in the experimental class there is an increase 25.07 point from the mean pretest 56.07 and the posttest 81.14. It concludedthat there was diffrenece in terms of effectiveness in the learning experience in the thematic learning for fourth graders of Regina Caeli Elementary School, with the most effective learning experience found in the experimental group 2 through the experience of learning discussion, presentation and role play.   Keywords: Learning Experiences, Effectivity Differences, Thematic Learning
