Abstract

This research to analyze teacher professional competencies in schools that are associated with management of school principals, teachers work motivation and ability of teacher in teaching. This research uses quantitative analysis, because wants to get the magnitude of the relationship that has the management of school principals, teachers 'work motivation and teacher's teaching ability to teachers' professional competencies in schools. Research data analyzed using correlation and regression analysis, data collected using questionnaires in the form of instruments relating to the four research variables, the instrument was prepared using a Likert scale. The results of the study it was found that the management of school principals' coaching had a positive and significant relationship to the teacher's professional competence, as well as the teacher's work motivation and the teacher's teaching ability. Increasing the professional competence of teachers will contribute greatly to the implementation of learning activities in schools, teachers who have professional competence will have a high dedication to their duties and responsibilities as an educator, for that special handling is needed in an effort to improve and improve teacher professional competence with provide good management of guidance from the principal, provide and increase motivation in work and provide training and education to improve the ability to teach teachers in schools. Abstract

This study aims to determine the contents of multicultural schools with the religious behavior of students at SD Islam Al-Ikhlas Cilandak, South Jakarta. Data processing methods are performed using statistics to obtain data, research variables and values ​​that include data on scores, medians, modes, standard deviations, and frequency distributions. Then for the purposes of the research hypothesis are inferential statistics with simple and regression techniques. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that: First, there is a positive and significant relationship between school culture and religious behavior, as evidenced by the assets of secret coefficient (ry1) of 0.962. Second, there is a positive and significant relationship between multicultural attitudes and student religious behavior, as evidenced by the assets of secret coefficient (ry1) of 0.969. Third, there is a positive and significant relationship between school culture and multicultural attitudes together with religious behavior, as evidenced by money (ry12) of 0.973 and the Fcount test of significance of 1099,684. Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) To know the teacher’s understanding of character education in MI Raudlatul Aulad, 2) To describe the implementation of character education through habituation and exemplary activities, 3) Know what obstacles are faced in the implementation of character education through habituation and exemplary activities. is qualitative research, informants of this study are principals and teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interview techniques. Data were analyzed through steps of data reduction and conclusion. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by source triangulation and methods. The results of this study are the process of implementing character education through habituation and exemplary activities, and obstacles faced in the process of implementing character education Keywords. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the management of a character-based education curriculum in early childhood. The research uses a qualitative approach. The main source of this research data is the head of Raudhatul Athfal (RA), educator, and education officer, foundation administrator, and student guardian in RA Hidayatut Tauhid Losari Lor Village, Losari District Cirebon Regency West Java. Data collection is conducted with interviews, documentation, and observations. The results of the study decrypt that: RA Hidayatut Tauhid implemented the 2013 curriculum and the characteristic curriculum; the process of preparing the curriculum of RA Hidayatut Tauhid involves the head of Raudhatul Athfal, educators and education personnel, and the community; the content of the curriculum developed is to achieve a vision of instilling the personality of children who are intelligent, creative, independent and Islamic character that is organized according to the achievements contained in the formulation of vision. All aspects of the character development of students are considered through the implications of achieving the objectives of educational institutions, the management of educational institutions that facilitate learning with concepts, methods, and media following the content of the curriculum, and the integration of the design of learning activities.

Abstract

Globalization poses positive impacts such as advances in science and technology, facilitating the flow of information, communication, and distribution of goods and services. The negative impact of globalization in the form of a threat to the nation's culture, the luntunrnya national identity, the dissolution of national borders, and the threat of other organizations. The impact of globalization is becoming an increasingly big and serious threat, especially when the organization lacks strong discipline. The purpose of this study is to find out how the performance of State Civil Apparatus, organizational culture concept framework, and efforts to improve the performance of Civil State Apparatus. The issue of Civil Servant performance will be accomplished and fulfilled if several factors influence it. One of the factors in question is organizational culture. Organizational culture is a philosophy, ideology, values, assumptions, beliefs, expectations, attitudes and norms that are shared and binding in a particular community. Specifically the culture within the organization will be determined by the conditions of the team work, leaders and characteristic of organization and the applicable administration process. Efforts to maintain the positive atmosphere of organizational culture will be able to improve employee performance, in other words the better the organizational culture the higher the high level of performance, otherwise the worse the existing organizational culture the lower level of employee performance becomes low. Abstract

This article examines the management of Islamic education, in developing Islamic educational institutions. Educational management is management that is applied in the development of education. Educational management is more general in nature for all educational activities in general and educational institutions in particular, while management of Islamic education more specifically refers to management applied in the development of Islamic educational institutions. In a sense, how to use and manage the resources of Islamic educational institutions effectively to achieve the goals of development, progress and quality of the process and results of Islamic education itself. Certainly aspects of managers and leaders who are Islamic or who are illuminated and imbued with Islamic teachings and values, must be attached to the management of Islamic education. That the management of Islamic education is a process (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) of the Islamic use of all existing potentials (human or non-human, self and others) in totality in educational activities (efforts, institutions, and products) Islam, starting from the intention to Islamic and to achieve an Islamic goal. Management of Islamic education and become a basic belief to influence the effectiveness and productivity of work in the Islamic education environment and the achievement of objectives. The method used in this study is the study literature by analyzing various sources. The results of this study show that the organization of Islamic education is all resources to optimize the ability of each individual to realize cooperation in achieving the objectives of Islamic education through the implementation of the plan. In the life of an Islamic education organization which contains a collection of a number of people, there is a division of occupations. The division of work creates the existence of leaders and members, whose authority and role models influence members to work voluntarily and jointly achieve goals based on Islamic values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze the factors that are at the root of the problem in increasing quality of madrasa graduates, and 2) to find out strategies in improving the quality of graduates at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Plus Malang. The method used in this study is qualitative. This research was conducted at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Plus Malang. This research in collecting data using interview techniques, documentation studies and observations. The results of this study are 1) factors that cause the low quality of madrasah graduates, namely material, tools (facilities and infrastructure), learning methods, and man (human resources); and 2) The strategies formulated to improve the quality of graduates at the MA Muhammadiyah 1 Plus Malang are, providing training in making teaching materials and learning media, setting the time for appropriate learning and teaching activities, utilizing library space for learning, procuring and repairing damaged teaching aids, maximamizing madrasah’s wifi usage, provision of teacher training to develop varied learning methods and according to student needs, provision of training on leisure hours guided by teachers who have mastered information technology, and provision of teacher training for the development of syllabi. Abstract

This development research aimed to produce entrepreneurship teaching materials by using the PjBL method and improving student learning outcomes in running a small handicraft business. The research that was carried out is a development research (research and development) and followed by a quasi experiment (quasi experiment) that collaborates with class teachers. The research stages to be carried out are: (1) the preparation stage, (2) the development stage, (3) the experimental stage, (4) evaluation. At the stage of developing teaching materials using the Plomp model (2010) which includes (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping phase, and (3) assessment phase. Furthermore, at the application stage a collaborative experiment is carried out in which the learning is carried out in collaboration with the teacher. The subjects of this study were teachers and students from SMA/MA/SMKN in North Bengkulu. In the experimental stage, it was carried out by taking two classes from each school as the experimental class and the control class. The target achievement in this study is the creation of entrepreneurship teaching materials that meet valid and practical criteria and there is an effect of project-based learning teaching materials on students' abilities and self-confidence.

Abstract

This article examines laboratory management in an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools, how to plan, implement, and evaluate laboratory management in schools. Planning of the laboratory in the school by looking at the needs of goods and budget. This planning can be done at the end of each semester by means of coordination meetings between laboratory heads, infrastructure representatives, and principals. Implementation of the laboratory includes procurement, storage, structuring, inventation, use, and maintenance. Procurement is done in accordance with existing needs and adjusted to school budget. Storage is done by making the codes and placed sessuai with place and its usefulness. The arrangement is done according to the encoding per cabinet or shelf or locker or storage warehouse. Inventory is done by taking notes of newly arrived items by giving a code or sticker. Use of laboratory facilities and infrastructure is used in accordance with the needs and usefulness of each item. Maintenance by repairing lightly damaged goods and removal for heavily damaged items. The evaluation of the management of the laboratory in an effort to improve the quality of learning in schools is done by coordination meeting at the end of the year between the head of the laboratory, the vice principal of the facilities and prsasarana, and the principal. Abstract

Leadership in education is closely related to the system: in put - process - out put. The study of the three elements that educational leaders will move in an effort to produce quality educational institutions. Thus, educational leadership is a very important factor in influencing the work performance of the organization because leadership is the main activity in achieving organizational goals. Educational leaders are not only skilled in managerial institutions, but their personality factors are required to be "good". This will create an institution conducive conducive to achieve quality.
