Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the relationship of leadership principal teaching and work discipline to student academic achievement in school. This research uses quantitative method, the data is analyzed by using descriptive statistic and inference. Data collection using instruments, instruments compiled from various sources tailored to the research method used. The study was conducted on teachers in elementary schools in Jakarta. The study shows that there is a positive and significant correlation between the principal's teaching leadership and the students 'academic achievement with the correlation correlation value of 0.454, there is a significant correlation between the teacher's work discipline with the students' academic achievement with the correlation value of 0.576. From the results of the study can be concluded that the improvement and improving the quality of student achievement can be done with the improvement and improvement of the leadership quality of teaching the principal and the discipline of teacher work. Student achievement can develop well with the help and touch of a principal through good school management, as well as the discipline of a teacher in carrying out his work as an educator so that will provide a good quality of learning process also with the expected achievement of student learning achievement high in school. Abstract

This article aims to describe the essence of the implementation of character education through learning activieis in school environment. The research was qualitative approach with library reseach. Character education has an important role in the moral cultivating of students relating to moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral behavior. The three aspects must be developed in order to realize students with noble character. In connection with the concept of school management, character education ought to be internalized through learning activities, extracurricular activities, and intracuricular activities. The formation of character through environmental factors can be done through several strategies, including modelling, intervention, habituation that is done consistently and reinforcement. In other words, developments in character formation require exemplary transmission, interventions through learning, training, continuous long-term habituation that is carried out continuously and reinforced, and must be balanced with noble values.

Abstract

Children's short stories are generally made by adults, contains a number of mandates that can be used as a tool of cultivation of character in students in primary schools. The intrinsic and extrinsic elements in the children's short story selected as teaching materials can be utilized as a medium of character teaching to the students in the elementary school. The best children's short story for children is a short story that gives children a place to look at their lives so as to broaden their insights and knowledge about the lives they live. Such short stories of children are included in the category of short stories that contain pedagogical values. Through the appearance of the characters, the children are enabled to identify the character and make the guidelines for behavior. Therefore, so that children are not wrong in identifying the characters in a story, it takes guidance and guidance from parents when at home and teachers when they are at school. However, sometimes teachers often find it difficult to choose a good child story. In choosing and presenting reading or stories for children, teachers must be selective. Abstract

Research is based on the idea that university governance and the dean's leadership are very important for improving lecturer performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of university governance and the dean's leadership on the performance of lecturers at the Islamic University of Sheikh-Yusuf (UNIS).. The study uses a quantitative approach with correlation and regression analysis techniques. The sample size of the study was 40 lecturers taken using proportional stratified random sampling. The research gives the result that there is a positive and significant influence on the university governance on the performance of lecturers at the Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf. University governance has a positive and significant effect of 71.06% on the performance of lecturers; dean leadership has a positive and significant effect of 16.40% on lecturer performance, and together there is a positive and significant effect of university governance and dean's leadership of 73.59% on the performance of lecturers at the Islamic University of Syekh-Yusuf.

Abstract

Educational environment is needed in the education process, because the educational environment serves to support the process of teaching and learning, a comfortable environment and support for the implementation of an education is needed. The environment is distinguished into the biological environment, the non-living natural environment, the artificial environment and the social environment. Education is one of the first obligations for parents. In Islam, the person most responsible for the education of the child is the parent. The family is the "smallest people" who have leaders and members, has a division of work and work, and the rights and obligations of each member. The best exemplary education for children is if both parents are able to connect their child with the example of Rasûlullâh SAW, as uswah of all mankind. Abstract

Pesantren atau Pondok Pesantren adalah salah satu pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Reformasi dan rekonstruksi terhadap pendidikan Islam beserta lembaga-lembaganya tampaknya perlu segera dilakukan, terutama mencermati perkembangan dunia global yang mengharuskan setiap lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk terus berbenah diri kalau tidak ingin ditinggalkan oleh peminatnya. Sikap inklusif dari pendidikan Islam dalam konteks ini sangat diperlukan. inkIusivitas menjadi sangat penting mengingat bahwa bagaimanapun, institusi pendidikan Islam tidak mungkin mengisolisasi diiri dari dinamika yang terjadi diluar dirinya. Mulai pada paruh kedua dari abad 20, beberapa pesantren mulai menambahkan mata pelajaran sekuler dengan kurikulum mereka sebagai cara negosiasi Modernitas. Penambahan kurikulum diakui negara telah mempengaruhi pesantren tradisional dalam beberapa cara. Hal ini menyebabkan kontrol yang lebih besar oleh pemerintah nasional.

Abstract

Readiness of children to enter school is something that is very important that every child must have because the readiness to attend school is the first capital to follow the process of learning activities in school. The greater the readiness of the child, the greater the child has the ability to follow the poses of learning activities at school. Conversely, the smaller the readiness of children's learning, the smaller the children have the ability to follow the poses of learning activities at school. The problem is that many children do not have readiness to learn well because parents have not manage the readiness to learn children enter school well. In the readiness of learning children enter primary school can not come suddenly in the child because everything must be well prepared, including that of elementary school age, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor ability of children and others needed by children. The role of parents and teachers in "pre-school" institutions / education at an early age is very important in managing preparing children for elementary school. Having the readiness to learn elementary school entrance well then the child can enjoy the process of learning activities and the opportunity / opportunity to deliver to achieve the best achievement in learning. Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at describing the practice of management education and training at the Research and Development Agency for Legal and Judicial Education and Training at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. In this research, data was collected through interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results obtained six findings. First, education and training activities are based on KMA Number 140 / KMA / SK / K / 2008. Second, the governance of the education and training program of the Education and Training Research and Development Agency for Law and Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia consists of planning, implementing, and evaluating activities. Third, there are two strategies implemented in the implementation of education and training at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, namely strategies in learning and strategies in developing education and training programs. Fourth, based on the research results, it can be seen that there are problems and weaknesses in the components in the implementation of education and training, such as participants, teaching staff, and facilities and infrastructure. Fifth, there are changes that are being made to make improvements, such as improving the use of technology and increasing the budget for the implementation of education and training. Sixth, there are two anticipatory steps taken towards the governance of the implementation of education and training to obtain optimal results.

Abstract

Quality assurance in Higher Education is based on the accomplishment of the community needs in the digital era, so that demands and expects higher education to make innovations that needed by the community, such innovations are strategic higher education to provide hope to the community. The purpose of writing this article is to provide strengthening and knowledge in higher education to always determine the direction and policies that can do competition. This study is descriptive non-experimental which is an exposure to a concept of ideas supported by the literature. Based on the explanation, it was concluded that to build the strategic feasibility of higher education, quality assurance is needed that can build competitive innovations, namely creating professional Human Resources.

Abstract

In an effort to support the implementation of excellent service or satisfactory then the library as an institution engaged in services need to pay attention to the necessary spatial arrangement in order to realize the prime or satisfactory conditions. Spatial design exist in the library needs to be designed specifically because it is different from the arrangement of space in general. In other words, a library should organize the library space as much as possible, so that the library visitors feel at home to linger in the library. With the arrangement of this library room in the library expected SMAN 1 Ciomas is more developed, as the foundation of educational institutions. This study aims to: 1) help develop the library space management SMAN 1 Ciomas 2) Knowing what constraints contained in the library 3) To increase knowledge, experience, recognition and observation. This research was conducted at a formal educational institution that is SMAN 1 Ciomas. The research method used is qualitative case study, respondents in this research is the head of library and librarian. The results of this study that the development of SMAN 1 Ciomas library has been there developments in the quality of infrastructure facilities through the arrangement of the library space. Keywords.
