Abstract

Teaching and learning activities at school should be interesting and funny, student activities as learning is always enthusiastic in following each subject. But the reality in the field shows another, learning activities that should attract, full of activities, creativity and bright ideas that do not exist, there is only a passive class hanayalah. Teachers are the spearhead in the success of teaching and learning process, therefore teachers are required to be able to innovate and master the various methods in delivering learning meteri that will be conveyed to the students. Lack of variation in the model of learning is one of the factors lazy students in following the teaching and learning process resulting in the level of mastery of student learning. To cultivate the spirit, cheerfulness in learning and not boring required a method of learning such as "shake the dice" as one of the active learning model, is essentially a traditional game with the aim that students in implementing learning is not saturated because this learning invites students to play while learning. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the management of community participation. This research method uses a qualitative type with a case study approach. The Public Elementary School 04 Manggalewa has conducted the research. The data collection technique in this study used a structured interview using guidelines. Participants were selected using purposive consisting of the principal, teachers, and parents of students. The data analysis technique used the Stake model and analyzed with the Atlas.ti version 8 software. This study's results indicate that community participation management consists of four things, namely, ability, coordination, control, and contribution. This capability needs to be considered for schools in Indonesia in building and developing schools through community involvement. Suggestions to school principals, teachers, and parents to improve relationships and open communication and sustainability in realizing better education.

Abstract

This study aimed to see how the effectiveness of charismatic leadership when viewed from the perspective of a subordinate that examined from previous research articles. In this study, researcher also used a qualitative approach with the type of research is study of literature. The data collection technique is done by collecting both primary and secondary literature which is analyzed and presented. The results obtained indicate that in a subordinate's perception of charismatic leadership can be influenced by physical and psychological aspects. The physical aspect shows that leadership can be perceived as charismatic when viewed from gender and age. While the psychological aspect shows leadership can be perceived as charismatic if it is able to create a sense of trust, satisfaction, and feelings of empowerment from subordinates.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of boarding school programs in the formation of student characters in State Senior High School of Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School Pandeglang Banten. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The research data was collected with several techniques, such as observation, interview, and documentation. Triangulation technique is done by means of triangulation method, that is by checking the information result of interview with documentation and observation. The results of the discussion of the implementation of boarding school programs in the formation of student characters include: There is guidance of character education that appear in State Senior High School of Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School Pandeglang Banten include: 1) Religious, attitude, and behavior; 2) Discipline, actions that demonstrate orderly conduct and abide by various rules and regulations. 3) Honest behavior based on an attempt to make himself or herself a person who can always be trusted in words, actions, and work. 4) Mandiri, 5) Responsibility of the attitude and behavior of a person to carry out his duties and obligations, which he should do, to oneself, society, environment (nature, social and culture), state, and god almighty. Abstract

This paper aims to describe the strategy to determine the literacy abilities and character students on the subject of reproduction in organisms, an as effort to equip life skill to approaching the 21st century. The research used a qulitative method with research subjects were student of class IX G SMPN 1 Baros in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research instrument used was in the form of a rubric which scoring the report and the scoring sheet between individuals on the following characters: one that can work together, be responsible, and care for the environment. The results showed there were 16 students or 52 % demonstrated literacy skills accordinng to the teacher’s requirements, while 15 students or 48 % were showed inadequate. Considering the observed characters, students already have good responsible character category with a total score 85, and also showed a character that capable of cooperating with good category with a total score of 89. However, for characteristic the showed environmental caring was only obtained a score of 46, the lowest among all categories. Therefore, it can be concluded that the teacher’s guidance startegy that included the stages of writing, grades, revisions, typing, sending and editing were able to reveal the literacy abilities and character of students more objectively on the subject of reproduction in organisms, as an effort to equip life skills to approaching the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the school culture values ​​associated with the implementation of the curriculum in the learning process at school. The study was conducted on teachers at SMK in Bekasi. The research used quantitative method with correlation analysis and regression analysis. Data were collected by using instruments on the variables used in the study, ie school culture and educational curriculum. This study found that the school culture aspect has a relationship with the educational curriculum, both academic, socio-cultural and democratic cultures have a positive influence on the school curriculum, so it can be said that the curriculum used in schools will be done well if it has a school culture it is also good that curriculum development in schools requires attention and focus on school culture factors as a way to improve the quality of education curriculum in schools. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a Talking Stick model on learning outcomes of Fiqh. The research method used was a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was all students at the Fourth Grade of Islamic Primary School of Jamiatul Khair Ciledug-Tangerang, Sampling was drawn by using a saturated sampling technique in which all populations were used as samples consist of the control class and the experimental class. The instrument of this was a multiple-choice test that has four options. Moreover, the data analysis technique utilized the t-test. The results of the study showed that the mean score of the posttest for the control class was 69.8. Meanwhile, the mean score of the posttest for the experimental class was 77.76 with the standard deviations were 8.55 and 10.02 respectively. Furthermore, the result of the t-test showed that t-count (3,021)> t-table (2,011). This means that the t-count is bigger than the t-table. In other words, we can conclude that there is a significant difference between students who have studied by using the Talking Stick model and students who used conventional techniques.

Abstract

This study offers explicitly new knowledge about socialization and internalization of religious values that form noble morals, which are solutions to prevent malicious behavior in the younger generation. This study uses a sociological approach with a qualitative narrative. Data were collected using interviews and observations; the primary data sources were religious leaders, youth community leaders, and youth in the village of Kampung Jawa Tengah. The analysis was carried out from entering the research field, data reduction, and verification. At the same time, the data validity technique used triangulation and member checks. This research concludes the first two things that deviant behavior such as stealing, drinking, drugs, and gambling have still occurred in the village of Kampung Jawa Tengah in the last three years; the trigger factors are poverty, unemployment, and weak parental control. The educational model, which is a strategy to prevent deviant behavior, is strengthening religious knowledge through various activities and strengthening tolerance attitudes in adolescents through arts and sports activities so that empathy grows to participate in avoiding criminal behavior among teenagers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe the planning of classroom management, the implementation of classroom management, supporting and hibiting factors of classroom management to increase learning process, and than the strategy to increase learning process. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative method. The result showed that the planning of classroom management do with prepared and arrange set of equipment and instrumen of study. The implementation of classroom management in the study appled some classroom management principles and some approaches. The supporting and inhibiting factors are physical environment, social emotional and organization condition. The strategy was students condition for already study in the class, learn to concentration, using the right method and variation, interaction in educatif and communicative, and than the students were using media with the teaching was. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas konseling kelompok realita terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa di MAN Yogyakarta III. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan penentuan subyek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan skor skala motivasi belajar dengan kategori rendah sejumlah sebelas siswa kelas X MAN Yogyakarta III, terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu 6 (enam) siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 5 (lima) siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney & Wilcoxon. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Skala Motivasi Belajar, Observasi, Angket, dan Interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok realita efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa MAN Yogyakarta III. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada out-put perhitungan statistik nonparametris uji Wilcoxon dengan hasil 0,028 < 0,05 dan Z = -2.201a, artinya bahwa skor motivasi belajar mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum treatment dan sesudah treatment. Sementara itu pada kelompok kontrol tidak ada peningkatan yang signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test dalam motivasi belajar, hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada out-put perhitungan statistik nonparametris uji Wilcoxon dengan hasil 0,136 > 0,05 dan Z = -1.490a.
