Abstract

In the development of an information system, a design or analysis stage is needed to identify system requirements to suit user needs. One of the design approaches in software development methodology is to use Unified Model Language (UML) modeling. UML modeling is a visual system design model that uses an object-oriented approach to make it easier for developers to design the system to be created. The analysis stage is the initial stage in identifying and designing the software requirements to be built. Making geographic information systems requires a reference in the design process so that it is easily translated by programmers in application development. One application of geographic information systems in the environmental field is mapping the distribution of legal waste disposal sites (TPS) in Pekanbaru City. Determination of legal TPS in the city of Pekanbaru is carried out by conducting surveys and measuring the area directly to the field. This of course takes time for officers to be able to recommend the area as a place to be used as a new TPS. The lack of information regarding the mapping of legal polling stations has also led to the emergence of illegal polling stations that can damage the environment. So it is necessary to build a geographic information system that can assist the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service (DLHK) in determining recommendations for legal TPS-TPS locations based on spatial analysis and displaying a map of the distribution of existing TPS-TPS locations in Pekanbaru City. The development of this geographic information system was built with an object-oriented approach, so that in the process of analysis and design it uses UML Diagrams. UML diagrams made in this study are in the form of Use Case Diagrams, Usecase Descriptions, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The result of the research is that all the functionality designed in the use case diagram has been implemented in the application program 100%.

Abstract

Motorcycle and car washing business is a service business that cleans car or motorcycle vehicles. This job is very helpful for those who don't have time to clean their vehicle. However, many motorcycle and car wash businesses still use manual payments, such as when the customer wants to pay but records the payment manually in the book and there is no proof of the transaction receipt, and when the Steam owner wants to pay a financial income statement, the cashier must check it by opening the income book. last month, last week or yesterday, and the cashier inevitably has to count the number of customers and the amount of revenue every day, week or even month, according to the requirements of the steam boss. In addition, many things often arise when report cards are lost, forgotten or burned. This is very risky when calculating gross income due to human error. For this reason, the author wants to solve the problems that often occur by making a cash register program to sell motorcycles and cars. This motorbike and steam car payment application was created using the Java NetBeans application and MySQL database. Therefore, the hope is that it can help business owners and cashiers improve motorbike and car washing payment services, and the data is directly stored in the database, so the owner or cashier does not need to save and record in a book.

Abstract

Infotech is a website-based information system that displays information about practicums, workshops, and information related to the informatics laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Some users complain of system errors such as website server down, login problems, and system bugs. The purpose of this research is to test the quality of the infotech website by using the black-box testing technique of the decision table method. This method focuses on functional testing of software. The main features will be tested, namely the login feature, and the file submit feature. Decision table is a black-box testing technique that contains system test cases in tabular form. Based on the research conducted, the final results show that the two main features tested display output in accordance with predetermined rules or conditions without experiencing system bugs, so it can be concluded that the quality of the infotech website, especially the login and file submission features, is good.

Abstract

Good campus management or good university governance (GUG) is a mission written in the statutes of IAIN Kediri. This is because with GUG campus management can be carried out better, the implementation is more transparent and accountable. The preparation of study program accreditation forms is the responsibility of UPPS (Study Program Management Unit) which involves related parties and requires robust and complete data for filling out accreditation forms. UPPS formed an accreditation team to prepare data for filling out forms. The current condition of the study program can be a benchmark in determining the priority of accreditation standards that need to be addressed or improved. The conditions of different study programs make revision priorities different from one study program to another. The Decision Support System (DSS) can be used as a means to assist the accreditation team in setting priorities for the revision of accreditation standards. The AHP method as one of the DSS methods has a good ability to determine the weight of the criteria. The results of this study indicate that this decision support system can provide recommendations in the form of priority order for improving the accreditation criteria for the Mathematics Major. The results of functional testing using black-box testing show that the system is running well in accordance with functional requirements. The results of the ranking process analysis show that the percentage results are highly dependent on the weighting of the criteria entered by the respondents and the Head of Major.

Abstract

There is no doubt that the progress of data innovation is growing rapidly which facilitates human work, one of which is in the field of population organization. Gorowong village is one of the villages in the city of Bogor. This research is motivated by the problems that exist in the village of Gorowong, where in carrying out services and data collection the population still uses conventional methods, using Microsoft Excel which must be inputted one by one, and if the file is deleted it can cause data loss. The community must handle the required documents at government agencies by following existing procedures, so if the community has a need related to letters or anything, the community must come directly to the gorowong village government office. This population administration application planning uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) research technique with the Waterfall model, which in this method describes the technique of drawing direct and sequential programming development techniques (waterfall). The information collection strategy used includes 3 techniques, particularly observation, interview, and literature studies. This research produces several application designs including use case diagrams, database relations, ERD, and architectural design. This application has been completed according to the client's wishes and will continue to be monitored and updated. Aims to facilitate all population administration processes in Gorowong village, and there is no need to use conventional methods anymore.

Abstract

SQL Injection Attacks are a common threat for web-based applications that use insecure input validation to target database attacks. This becomes a very serious problem in web-based applications because successful execution causes loss of integrity and confidentiality and this makes it a very sensitive software security issue. This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PICOC Method on Preventing SQL Injection Attacks Using OWASP Tools. This study provides an overview of SQL Injection Attacks, detection, and prevention techniques. In the end, an evaluation of the effectiveness of detection and prevention using the OWASP CSR Web Application firewall was carried out. It should be noted that the OWASP Tools can also detect and prevent SQL Injection Attacks.

Abstract

Black-box testing is very influential in finding flaws and errors in the software because it can identify errors in functions, interfaces, data models, and access to external information sources. During the testing process, the problem often arises that the tester is never sure that the software being tested has met the criteria for being eligible for testing. This condition occurs because sometimes there are still some execution paths that have never been tested. The examiner should be able to make every possible mix of input information for the test material. The selection of input information to detect errors is a problem for testers because it has a high gap, so that an automatic test trial model can be a solution to automatically generate a test trial model in software testing. The black-box method with the identical division technique requires a false awareness technique.

Abstract

Advances in information technology make smartphones become one of the products owned by almost all people of productive age. With so many smartphone manufacturers today, especially at the global level, the competition to present best-selling smartphone products in the market is becoming very tight. One of the most crucial things in product development is how manufacturers can capture the opinions and desires of potential users for a product and make it one of the considerations in product development. User reviews are data that is classified as User Generated Content (UCG) and can be used as material for conducting consumer analysis in the initial phase of product development. One of the problems faced in utilizing the data is the form of data in the form of unstructured text and the amount is very large. This problems can be solved by using one approach in natural language processing, namely topic modeling. By using topic modeling, computers can extract the essence of customer reviews on the internet which are very large in number into a more structured and easy-to-understand form. In this research, we used topic modeling to gain an insight from customer review over smarthphone products. From our experiment we can infer a knowledge about the customers’ concern related to the purchased smartphones.

Abstract

In Tons Futsal, the information system for reserving pitches is still manual. Reservations made on the field in handwriting. Calculations and proof of payment continue to rely on a large amount of paper or books to generate payment reports, so to summarize, the data manager faces challenges because there is a large amount of paper to collect, as well as no organized storage of bookings data that makes proper and accurate use of the futsal field, allowing data to be lost. The goal of this research is to contribute to the improvement of the files ordering and data processing processes on Tons futsal. The interview technique, system analysis, system design, implementation, and maintenance of the software are all employed in this process. It is believed that the findings of this research will help managers and customers overcome common roadblocks and improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

The determination of outstanding scholarship recipients is usually only done through file selection, so it takes a long time and risks being less accurate in their determination, therefore research is carried out that aims to create a decision support system that can speed up the process of determining the recipient of the outstanding scholarship. The methods used are ARAS (Additive Ratio Assessment) and MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis). The selection of this method is able to filter the best alternatives based on weighting and this method is able to choose goals based on different criteria, namely benefits and costs. The result obtained from the ARAS method is a ranking calculation from the comparison of alternative utility functions with optimal utility function values, while the results obtained from the MOORA method are calculation rankings of maximum and minimum values. From these values produce alternatives that meet the criteria through calculations using the ARAS method and MOORA is selected as a scholarship recipient. Spearman Rank correlation test results from the ARAS method are 0.98 and the MOORA method is 0.97. The results of calculations using those done manually or using the system show the same results, meaning that the system can be used to determine the recipients of outstanding scholarships.
