Abstract

Home security is very important to protect ourselves and our wealth from the crime that is increasingly over the time. CCTV installation is an alternative method to increase home security. The disadvantages of using CCTV are not being able to send notifications to homeowners when foreigners are detected and the lack of supervision from the public and security staff. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system that can detect the presence of unknown people and provide notifications to homeowners. In this study, implementing a face detector as a home security system using a webcam and a Raspberry Pi. The home security system that is built can recognize the faces of the occupants of the house and can open the door automatically. Face recognition uses the Haar-cascade method which compares images captured by a webcam with a database to recognize the faces of residents of the house. When the system detects the faces of the occupants of the house, the system will drive a servo motor as a door opener. The system also sends notifications via Push-Safer to homeowners when the webcam records an unrecognized face.

Abstract

The majority of the people in Labuhan Ratu VIII Village, Labuhan Ratu District, East Lampung Regency work as farmers, especially rice farmers. The inhibiting factor for production in this village is a disease that attacks plants during the growing season so that it becomes the main problem in this study. The main purpose of this research is to build an expert system application to help farmers solve farmer problems in diagnosing rice plant diseases based on Android. The data used in this study consisted of 7 diseases in rice plants, namely tungro, bacterial leaf blight (HDB), stem rot, midrib rot, blast, grass dwarf and leaf midrib blight. The method used in this research is the Forward Chaining Method. The method used to build an expert system application, the tracking process of this method is from the data, then match the data with the IF part of the IF-THEN rules. If it is in accordance with the existing rules, then the rules will be executed to get a conclusion. The results of this study, the application of an expert system using Forward chaining can be used to diagnose rice plant diseases with several steps, namely selecting symptoms, conducting consultations, and displaying the results of the consultation.

Abstract

The nation's culture can be said to be a very meaningful thing because with the existence of culture, a nation has its own specialties and characteristics which can differenciate itself from others, therefore, traditions can be identified as a nation's identity from a particular nation. The awareness of indonesian people towards indonesian culture, in this generation especially the younger ones is decreasing because of the fast growing globalisation era, a lot of young Indonesians are more intrigued in foreign countries culture in comparison  to their own nation's culture, this causes might involved in multiple factors such as limited facilities to educate students about the uniqueness of indonesian culture. Based on these factors, the application of Artificial Intelligence technology in a chatbot application which is intended as a learning infrastructure about national culture is felt to increase the enthusiasm of the young generation and make it easier for them to get information and learn various things about Indonesian culture. Learning about national culture through chatbot applications with AI technology will certainly be more attractive than the application of conventional learning methods, the aspect of flexibility in terms of learning activities will of course also increase along with the use of chatbot applications, because a chatbot can be used anytime and anywhere without requiring any special skills or requirements in its use.

Abstract

Optimization of electrical energy with fuzzy logic to obtain optimal electrical power output requires several inputs, namely light intensity, room temperature, room area, and humidity. In this study, to get each variable, it must have a membership function to determine how much influence the value of the variable has on the output issued. For the light intensity variable, for example, the membership function is dark, dim, bright, and very bright with a range between 0 to 1600 Lux, then for the temperature variable, the membership function is cold, cool, warm and hot with a range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. , for the variable area of the room has a membership function of narrow, medium, medium, and wide with a range of 0 to 90 m2, and for the input variable humidity has a membership function of dry, ideal, and humid with a range between 0 to 100 RH. MATLAB as an application that can perform fuzzy logic calculations will produce an output variable, namely electric power has a weak, rather strong, and strong membership function with a range of 0 seconds/d to 110 watts.

Abstract

PT. Yuasa Battery Indonesia is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of batteries for motor vehicles, both cars and motorcycles. The production system in this company is make to order. The production process that occurs is that the recording of production activities is still carried out in their respective work sections such as manufacturing, inventory, purchasing so that the information needed for the production line is slow and inaccurate which results in the production plan not being achieved. The purpose of this research is to integrate data and information in all lines of the company so that the constraints faced by the company can be overcome. The material flow for the production process is controlled using the Material Requirement Planning method while the software used to integrate data and information in the production line is Odoo 13 manufacturing. The results showed an increase in productivity from the planned production of 128,387 pcs, 128,381 pcs with and 6 pcs was achieved and the percentage of production achievement was 100% and users accepted the implementation of Odoo 13 with an average test result of 82.3%.

Abstract

An insurance policy provides coverage for compensation for specified loss, damage, illness, or death in exchange for premium payments. Likewise for vehicle insurance, every year the customer needs to pay a premium to the insurance company so that if an accident occurs that is not profitable for the vehicle, the insurance company provides compensation to the customer. The purpose of this research is to classify the health insurance cross-sell prediction dataset so that certain patterns or relationships can be found between the data to become valuable information and build a model to predict whether policyholders (customers) from the previous year will also be interested in insurance. Vehicles provided by the company. The researcher uses the K-nearest neighbor classification algorithm, Random Forest, and gradient boosting classifier as well as Python data mining tools. After doing the research, it was found that the K-nearest neighbor classification algorithm produces a higher accuracy of 91%, when compared to the Random Forest algorithm which is 87% and the boosting classifier algorithm is 88% in classifying customer interest in taking a vehicle insurance policy.

Abstract

The security of the computer network, especially the internet, is very crucial to note. One of the most effective ways to secure a computer network is to use a firewall. However, making a firewall that is still manual will make it difficult for network administrators to secure their computer network. The automatic detection of attacks on the firewall will further enhance the security of the computer network. Prediction or detection of attacks on the firewall automatically and intelligently can use the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm by measuring the distance of data similarity using Cosine Similarity. The results of this study managed to achieve a high accuracy, which is 99.71%, precision is 74.70% and recall is 74.85% of predicting traffic that goes to the firewall. The results can be used as a standard of accuracy in predicting the traffic leading to the firewall, or even create an additional firewall so that the security of computer networks, especially the user data is saved.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the percentage of mental disorders has increase significantly. This increase is not comparable to the available services or handling media, especially the Indonesian people, who are predominantly Muslim. In fact, mental health is an important aspect of human life. Therefore, the design of the NAFS application is based on Islamic psychology (Islamic psycho-spiritual therapy) which can be an innovation for android-based mental health services. NAFS Application Design is carried out using the PDCA method with a participatory design. The results of all the design stages can be concluded that the NAFS application based on alpha (black box method) and beta testing shows its functionality and performance in accordance with the needs and designs that have been determined. Thus it can be concluded that the NAFS application can be used especially for individuals with mental illness, as a form of mental health first aid and mental health education media.

Abstract

Primo Supermarket St Moritz is a retail company that runs its business in the field of selling basic necessities, where the staffing system is still not integrated, such as an attendance system that uses fingerprints as identification or a finger print machine that is not connected to other systems so that the attendance input process is still done repeatedly, which results in errors in payroll calculations because the salary data has not been connected to the attendance system so that the salary calculation is not precise and inaccurate, then there is also a leave application that is still manual, which fills out the leave form in writing and is only stored in a folder so that leave forms can be scattered and unsafe, as well as difficulties in preparing attendance data reports, salary data reports, and leave data reports which take quite a long time because the system has not been connected automatically. In this study, we will design a web-based academic information system using Codeigniter, using the waterfall method with PHP and MySQL programming languages for the database, with the aim of creating an attendance system that is connected to the salary system, simplifying the calculation of employee salaries, so that the calculation process becomes more efficient. fast, precise, and accurate, create an online leave application system that makes it easier to make attendance data reports, salary data reports, and leave data reports.

Abstract

March 2020 was the beginning of the pandemic period in Indonesia, this had an impact on many business sectors, one of which was micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This pandemic period has forced the government to limit direct interaction activities. So it takes a media transaction in order to reduce public activity in direct transactions. The design method uses the Agile SDLC which is suitable for rapid adaptation in building short-term systems. To ensure the system runs as desired, Black Box Testing and White Box Testing are carried out. The presence of an API (Application Programing Interface) with the calculation of the radius of the Haversine Formula method can detect the distance of the nearest MSME up to a radius of 1 Km. Based on research conducted using 20 samples that were tested, it resulted in an average distance difference of 0.004 from the distance of Maps. So that customers can easily find MSMEs around them and make transactions or orders online.
