Abstract

Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to have the spiritual power of religion, self-control, personality, intelligence, character, and skills needed him, society, nation and state. In this study, the researchers focused on the role of the principal to the formation of national character in students. In this study the authors are interested in the role of school principals on the implementation of character education to students SMA Negeri 5 Metro. The purpose of character education to improve the quality of the process and outcomes of education that leads to the establishmen-Tukan person's character and noble character as a whole, an integrated, balanced, in accordance with the competency standards at any educational institution. Indicators of success can be seen character education program and students have properties such as: awareness, honesty, sincerity, simplicity, independence, care, freedom of action, precision, and commitment.

Abstract

As a human being equipped with intellect, it can be understood the importance of libraries in an effort to support the dynamics of academic activities for all elements at IAIN Metro in particular and society in general. Research to be conducted by the authors in this study is a quantitative study. In quantitative research the process of collecting data is done directly or plunged into the field. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, it can be concluded as follows: No significant influence is obtained from the results of chi-square calculated with chi-square table. By using two-party test, we get chi-square table value (x2tabel) at 1% significance level equal to 13,227 and for 5% significance level equal to 9,488. Thus, the calculated chi-square value (x2count) of 0.414 is smaller than the chi-square table at the significance level of 1% and the 5% significance level then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted.

Abstract

Serve as a standard of quality and excellence, so that the main elements of quality in quality management is understood as a process of certainty that there has been a specific standard and continuously strived to achieve for a product or service is superior. Thus, if the quality applied in teaching refers to the level of learning compared to the standard. An activity-quality education provision is seen when higher education are able to provide the best learning opportunities.

Abstract

In this case focus to increase activity and IPA student learning outcomes through inquiry learning approach. Type of study is a descriptive qualitative research methods class action. The results obtained in this study show that: 1) Average activity in cycle I (48.73%) increased by 14.92% in cycle II (63.65%), 2) Improved student learning outcomes of the cycle I to the second cycle of 28.57% from 57.14% to 85.71% cycle I to cycle II on the subject of IPA. Based on these results, the suggestions can be submitted are: to improve the quality of teachers should be teaching mathematic in the inquiry learning approach. For researchers, in order to do further research on the effectiveness of learning by using the inquiry approach related to learning outcomes and learning processes, and are expected to contribute to the awakening of science and technology, especially learning IPA.

Abstract

Moral education is an education system that can give a person the ability to lead a life with Islamic ideals, the values of Islam has been animating and coloring style personality. So morality is a behavior that has been inherent in a person due to the habit of doing so yeah do spontaneously. Good and bad human behavior referred to as moral decency which means life principle or regulation norms. Moral concept is not only studied in theory but to encourage people to do the will, so as to form a holy life and produces perfect goodness. Morals are a reflection rather than Muslims who must have basic. This is what must be lived and practiced so that the creation of a noble character.

Abstract

Philosophy of science is the formulation that is consistent and in some sense based on scientific theories are important. According to this view, is the task of the philosopher of science to mengelaborisasikan broader implications of science. Characteristic of Muslim intellectuals include fikir power, sensitive, sharp in analyzing and has constituted with the creative power of faith in God Almighty. This study is a literature that tries to make sense of the philosophy of science in shaping the Muslim intellectual in the world of education. The process of accumulation of the data is done by the use of content analysis for further once collected approached critically with hermeneutic and descriptive methods. It is hoped the data is collected can be reduced and be carefully interpreted in mak-ing Conclusions are not merely descriptive, but are presented in a critical Also format. The hermeneutic method used in interpreting the data is collected is philosophical hermeneutics i.e. a process of interpretation that seeks to produce a new meaning and is not to reproduce the initial meaning.

Abstract

The improving learning achievement of students of class XI IPS 1 in preparing the working paper to use media power point presentation. The problems of this class action research is how to use the learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) with media power point affects the learning process, how big increase learning achievement, especially completeness of learners. Mastery learning in the first cycle increased by 21.88% and the second cycle increased by 53.13% when compared to prior studies class actions, which only reached 37, 5%.

Abstract

Metode Jarimatika is a method with a finger that is fun, because it can attract students so that the activity and learning outcomes increase. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), based on four steps: Planning; Take action; Observation observation; Reflection. With these results, the learning with the Metode Jarimatika can be said to be complete because more than 75% target at the end of the cycle. Based on differences in learning outcomes of cycles I and II can be concluded that the application of Metode Jarimatika can improve students' understanding of mathematics subjects. Learning activity in the first cycle of 56.53% and cycle II 91.31%, thus the learning activity of students increased from cycle I to cycle II of 34.78%. While the learning result completeness level for the first cycle of 35.29% and on the second cycle of 100%, thus the learning outcomes of students experiencing improving from cycle I to cycle II of 64.71%.

Abstract

Metode Suggestopedia, guru harus kreatif dan membuat kondisi kelas nyaman dan siswa merasa rileks dalam proses belajar bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, penelitian ruang kelas tindakan merupakan bentuk penyelidikan reflektif kolektif yang dilakukan oleh peserta dalam situasi sosial untuk meningkatkan rasionalitas praktik sosial atau pendidikan mereka sendiri, serta pemahaman mereka terhadap Praktik dan Latihan. Metode Suggestopedia sebagai metode alternatif dapat meningkatkan kosa kata siswa. Hal itu bisa dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Pada pre-test, skor rata-rata adalah 51,48, post-test 1 62. 1 sedangkan post-test 79,2.

Abstract

Students attempted to implement procedures Newman while working on math problems. However, because less familiar, often the step that is not done, namely in step to understand the problem and transformation. For these types of mistakes made by the students while work on the problems, there are no students who perform this type of read errors. The new fault of the student in the time to understand the problem. This type of error is the error made in understanding the problem. The reason is the lack of students' ability to create illustra-tions, less careful in drawing so illustrations drawn not in accordance with the intended and do not ignore because mera-sa unnecessary. Subsequent Error type students is an error in processing capability.
