Abstract

The research intents to investigate the effect of free cash flow and stock trading volume on stock returns with business diversification as a moderating variable. The problem raised is how the interaction between free cash flow, stock trading volume, and business diversification affects stock returns. The research sample consisted of 11 pharmaceutical firms existed on the Indonesian Securities Exchange during the period 2018-2022, but only 8 firms were validated so that the sample used was 40 confirmed data. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression and moderation regression analysis (MRA). The results demonstrated that free cash flow has no substantial impact on stock yield, while stock trading volume has a substantial impact directly. However, it was found that business diversification does not restrain the free cash flow and stock trading volume effect on stock yield. The focus conclusion of this research is only stock trading volume affects stock yield. Meanwhile, free cash flow and stock trading volume do not interact with business diversification on stock yield. The implication is that investors and various interested parties need to consider the volume of stock trading in determining investment decisions, in order to obtain maximum yield.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how distinctive competency can leverage the competitive advantages of Indonesia’s ferry transport companies, mediated by value creation and moderated by service innovation. A quantitative approach (positivistic paradigm) and survey methods were employed. The research population consisted of 249 directors from 42 ferry transportation companies operating on four commercial routes, with a sample size of 153. The main findings indicate that distinctive competency has a direct, positive, and significant effect on the competitive advantages of Indonesia’s ferry transport companies. Additionally, value creation mediates the relationship between distinctive competency and competitive advantages, while service innovation moderates the relationship between value creation and competitive advantages. The findings suggest that ferry transport companies in Indonesia should focus on developing and enhancing their distinctive competencies to create value and sustain competitive advantages. Moreover, investing in service innovation can strengthen the impact of value creation on competitive advantages, ensuring long-term success in a competitive market. This study contributes to the literature by integrating the roles of value creation and service innovation into the relationship between distinctive competency and competitive advantages in the context of the ferry transport industry, a sector that has received limited attention in previous research.

This study was conducted with the aim of building an Islamic household accounting model in debt management as a form of social inclusion in ultra-micro households (UMi). The implications of this model are expected to reduce the risk of payment default. Abstract

MSMEs experience various vulnerabilities that emphasize the importance of government digital onboarding programs as part of financial inclusion. To address these challenges, it is crucial to understand the role of digital financial literacy in enhancing access to financial services and improving business performance. This study investigates the influence of digital financial literacy on financial inclusion and MSME performance, with a focus on digital finance adoption and access as key of financial inclusion. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study surveyed 400 MSMEs in East Java, Indonesia, using a structured questionnaire and purposive sampling technique. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to outline the characteristics of the data. To explore the relationships among the variables, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized with WarpPLS software. The analysis reveals that digital financial literacy significantly impacts digital finance adoption, which, in turn, enhances MSME performance. However, access to digital finance, while positively associated with digital finance adoption, does not show a significant direct impact on MSME performance. The results highlight the need for targeted educational programs to boost digital financial literacy among MSMEs, ensuring that digital financial tools are effectively utilized to foster business growth and financial inclusion.

Abstract

This research aims to determine consumer behavior patterns in using non-cash payments and the implications for impulsive purchases in e-commerce. This research uses qualitative methods to gain in-depth insight from each informant, so the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) approach was chosen to determine this pattern. The research results reveal that the convenience offered by non-cash payments accelerates a person's decision making when shopping, which encourages impulsive buying behavior where shopping decisions are taken quickly without planning. The implication of this research is that the development of cashless payments not only provides practical benefits in daily transaction activities, but also creates new shopping patterns that combine convenience and psychological encouragement through promotional offers. This shows how digitalization in payment methods is not just a means of payment but also a means of influencing consumer behavior in the current digital era.
