Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System at Kaliwates General Hospital, with a focus on its impact on service efficiency and patient satisfaction. Using the Technology Acceptance Model, this research explores how Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Trust, and Perceived Risk influence patient attitudes and behavioral intentions toward using the system. A quantitative approach was employed with Structural Equation Modeling to analyze the relationships among these variables and their effects on SIMRS adoption. A sample of 169 patients who interacted with SIMRS at Kaliwates Hospital participated in the study. The results indicate that PEOU and PU significantly influence both Attitude Toward Using and Behavioral Intention to Use. Trust plays a pivotal role in mitigating perceived risks and shaping positive attitudes toward the system, while Perceived Risk has a significant negative impact on patient attitudes. The findings further reveal the mediating role of these factors in influencing patients’ behavioral intentions to adopt the system. This study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing technology adoption in healthcare settings and offers actionable recommendations for improving SIMRS implementation, particularly by enhancing the user experience, ensuring robust data security, and providing continuous training and support for patients. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the workplace environment in shaping innovative worker behavior. The method used in this research is a mixed method with a Literature Study (SLR) approach. The quantitative method in this research focuses on numerical or statistical data (e.g., number of publications, citation frequency, publication trends, and methodology trends). The qualitative method analyses the content of existing articles or literature (e.g., concepts, themes, and contexts underlying existing research). It identifies trends that may not be visible from mere numerical data. The data sources in this study were taken from the Scopus database and Google Scolar, which included the keywords “Workplace Environment” AND “Innovative Behaviour”. The study analyzed 79 articles published in reputable international journals from 2015-2023. The research found four main streams in the workplace environment and innovative behavior research: (1) a focus on individuals as agents of innovation, which dominated the 2015-2018 period; (2) an emphasis on the relationship between individuals and organizations that emerged in 2019-2020, where human resource management plays an essential role in supporting innovation; (3) attention shifted to organizations, focusing on collective innovation processes in 2021-2022; and (4); the most recent research (2023) again highlighted individuals as key catalysts of innovation, underlining the importance of the role of individuals in fostering creativity in the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and quality on intention to use e-wallets among generations Y and Z. The method used was quantitative, and questionnaires were distributed to 236 respondents in several cities in Java. The study used Structural Equation Modeling with IBM SPSS 29 software and AMOS Graphic 26 to test the proposed hypothesis. The results showed that both subjective norms significantly positively influence perceived ease of use, increasing perceived usefulness. Quality also contributes positively to perceived usefulness and perceived trust. However, the relationship between perceived trust and intention to use was not significantly proven. These findings provide important insights for e-wallet service providers to develop interface design and service quality to encourage wider adoption among young users. The Technology Acceptance Model theory serves as the foundation for this study, which analyses the factors that influence technology acceptance by contributing to developing more effective marketing strategies and product designs for increasing e-wallet usage among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of media exposure in regulating the relationship between foreign ownership, institutional ownership, and environmental performance on biodiversity disclosure. The study uses secondary data obtained from sustainability and annual reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2022 period, selected using a purposive sampling method. A quantitative approach is applied using multiple regression analysis, specifically Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), to test the moderating effect of media exposure. The findings indicate that environmental performance positively affects biodiversity disclosure, and media exposure plays a role in moderating this relationship. However, the measurement of media exposure remains general and does not differentiate between positive and negative news tone. This study provides empirical evidence from Indonesia that highlights the relevance of media exposure and environmental performance in improving biodiversity disclosure practices among corporations.

Abstract

The globalization era intensifies competition among companies, making firm value a crucial indicator of managerial performance and investor appeal. However, market shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic and “stock pumping” phenomena reveal that firm value is not solely determined by fundamentals. This study aims to examine the effect of earnings quality, Good Corporate Governance, and audit quality on firm value, with leverage as a moderating variable. Specifically, the study seeks to assess how major internal and governance-related factors influence firm value during the pandemic period, a time marked by heightened uncertainty and volatility. The research uses a quantitative approach by employing panel data regression and moderated regression analysis with a fixed effect model on a sample of cyclical and non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. The findings show that earnings quality has a positive impact on firm value, while GCG and audit quality do not have a significant impact. Moreover, leverage is found to weaken the influence of earnings quality on firm value, but does not moderate the relationship between GCG or audit quality and firm value. The study concludes that firm value is partially influenced by internal accounting quality and capital structure, yet these factors alone are insufficient to explain firm value volatility during turbulent market conditions. The implication of this study suggests that investors and policymakers should consider external and behavioral factors beyond traditional financial indicators when assessing firm value in a dynamic market environment.
