Abstract

Sewage treatment plant (STP) functions is to treat household, community and industrial waste has been known for a long time. Most of the STPs are permanently installed , usually the wastewater first flows through the biological treatment stage and then ends at the retreatment stage. XYZ University is one of the universities in South Tangerang. Currently, the STP of XYZ University has not been operating optimally. This research function is to design the STP for tower A Universitas XYZ so that it meets the requirements of the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 68 2016 regarding the quality standards of domestic wastewater. Domestic liquid waste generated by Tower A, XYZ University is 234,576 m3 / day. To manage the waste, an aerobic anaerobic wastewater treatment plant is planned which consists of equalization, pre-settling tanks, anaerobic tanks and aerobic tanks equipped with filter media, and final settling tanks. From the STP management, it is estimated that the quality of domestic wastewater will be BOD5 5,515 mg / l, COD 17,136 mg / l, and TSS 0.648 mg / l.

Abstract

Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar Toll Road is the main transportation route connecting to South Lampung, Bandar Lampung, Pesawaran, and Central Lampung. Although the location of the Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar Toll Road is quite strategic, based on the business plan document and the recapitulation of the Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar Toll Road LHR has a 2021 LHR plan of 20,295 vehicles / day, while the realization LHR is only 11,674 vehicles / day. The traffic situation on the toll road that is not as planned is suspected to be caused by a mismatch of tariffs with the ability and willingness to pay the community, and the current tariff is ±850 / km (category 1 vehicles). Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the adjustment of toll rates with the financial condition of toll road users. In this study, the method used is the calculation of Ability to Pay (ATP) and Willingness to Pay (WTP). The data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis, the ATP rate of Rp 628 / Km and the WTP rate of Rp 600 / Km. Based on the ATP and WTP relationship graph, the ideal rate for group one vehicles is Rp 626,28 / Km with the percentage of respondents who can afford and are willing to pay at 85,1%.

Abstract

Geopolymer concrete is an environmentally friendly concrete that does not use cement at all, but uses high silica-containing materials such as fly ash (waste from PLTU). Geopolymer concrete consists of a binder material in the form of fly ash reacted with an alkaline activator solution, and filler material in the form of aggregate. The alkaline activator used is a solution of NaOH concentration of 8M and Na2SiO3 solution in a ratio of 1:2, while the ratio of aggregate and binder is 60%: 40%. In this study, the wetting treatment method was carried out with the number of test specimens for each variation as many as 3 test specimens and concrete compressive strength testing was carried out at the age of 3, 7, and 28 days on cylindrical test specimens with a size of 10 cm × 20 cm as many as 9 test specimens. Based on the results of the compressive strength test, the relationship graph between the compressive strength of concrete and the age of concrete is obtained, the value of the compressive strength of concrete with the wetting treatment method is 19.92 MPa

Abstract

The construction projects for Buildings C and D were delayed in construction process due to financial constraints in completing building construction and the project was re-implemented so that the two buildings were classified as Construction in Progress. Efforts are made to avoid obstacles by carrying out effective risk management. Therefore, all projects require proper risk management. On the basis of these events, risk management is carried out with the aim of knowing the risks that may occur, knowing the level of risk, and knowing the dominant risk response in the construction project of Buildings C and D of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology. The method in this study uses Severity Index method in analyzing risk variables with the Guttman scale used to determine the relevance of a risk variable. Then do an analysis of the response to the dominant risk. In the correlation test, 40 indicators were found that were relevant and 4 that were irrelevant. The validity test shows 7 invalid indicators. The results obtained are 6 indicators of risk that are dominant to the value of the likelihood and impact matrix labelled "high" risk. The risk response in this study is to seek supervision of the budget specified in the contract, carry out reliable material estimation calculations, the procurement department is required to identify places for replacement materials, make re-engineering arrangements for work execution sequences, and depend on professional distributors and forwarders, ensuring experienced project employees, working drawings have clear information, and prioritizing outdoor work.

Abstract

Lalu lintas yang terdapat di dalam industri pertambangan memiliki berbagai macam permasalahan, salah satunya adalah beban kendaraan yang berat dengan muatan yang berat. Studi dilaksanakan di Kutai Timur, Kalimantan Timur dengan lalu lintas angkutan batubara. Studi ini hendak memberikan sisi pandang mengenai solusi dari permasalahan penentuan perkerasan jalan. Perencanaan perkerasan lentur dalam penelitian ini akan menggunakan Bina Marga 2017 dengan mempertimbangkan faktor ESA, lokasi, dan pemeliharaan perkerasan yang akan dilaksanakan. Didapatkan jenis perkerasan lentur berupa Burda atau Burtu dengan lapis pondasi LPA Kelas A. Perkerasan ini dianggap sudah cukup untuk menunjang lalu lintas yang ada.

Abstract

In the world of construction, aesthetic has become an important factor that must be considered. The aesthetic elements consist of wholeness, prominence and balance. However, aesthetic values can be influenced by several factors, namely economic, social, cultural, technological, ergonomic and psychological factors and this cause that in commercial development or the building that use slab system for foundation is used greatly affects it in terms of aesthetics and also cost effectiveness. The author's purpose of doing this research is to analyse the efficiency of volume in concrete and deflection between Flat Slab system and Waffle slab system. This research uses a case study at the Pasir Putih Convention, Batam, Indonesia. The analysis is done with ETABS software based on the local standards or known as Indonesia National Standard (abbreviated SNI). The choice of a slab system in a development is very important, especially if the building or construction is categorized as commercial structure. Based on the data obtained by researchers in terms of economics and deflection, Waffle Slab System is the right choice, meanwhile in terms of ease construction Waffle Slab System will be the secondary choice than Flat Slab, Since Flat Slab is more ease of framework installation than Waffle Slab.

Abstract

The Krueng Langsa River in Aceh often faces landslide problems due to natural erosion, human activities, and changes in river flow. This study aims to design a landslide mitigation system using geobags as a control technology on the Krueng Langsa Riverbank. Geobags, bags made of geotextiles filled with materials such as sand, are systematically installed to reinforce river banks. Primary data was obtained through field surveys, while secondary data was taken from related stakeholders, including regional maps and elevation data. The results of the study show that the installation of geobags along the 295 meters of the Krueng Langsa River bank can reduce the risk of landslides. The total calculation of the need for geobags reaches 9,440 units, which are designed to withstand flooding and strengthen cliff structures. In conclusion, geobags are an effective temporary solution in resisting erosion and waterlogging. This study recommends the development of permanent infrastructure for sustainable landslide control.
